In his dorm room, Izuku was sitting at his desk looking over his notes. There was a big test coming up and he wanted to be prepared. Unfortunately, his studying will have to take a backseat in a minute.
His room's door soon slammed open, causing the green-haired boy to jump. Looking over with wide eyes, he was surprised to see one very unhappy looking Jirou Kyouka. For a moment he was wondering if he had done something to upset her, but he became confused when she walked into his room, walked passed him, and flopped down onto his bed. Now normally Izuku would blush up a storm at the thought of a girl in his room, but it was clear that something was wrong. His heroic instincts overrode his shyness in this moment.
"Ano, Jirou-san?"
"Leave me alone, Midoriya!" came the muffled reply, her face buried in his pillow.
"But…"
"I said leave me alone!" she yelled a little louder, although it was still muffled.
"But you came into MY room! Sh-Shouldn't I at least know why?" replied Izuku, his worry for his classmate increasing.
It was silent as Izuku waited. As much as he wanted an answer, he was not going to push Jirou. It didn't take long for him to get an answer.
"…I had a really bad day today and really don't want to deal with anyone right now. As to why I'm in your room, no one would think to look for me here. Now leave me alone!"
"A-Ah! O-Okay, Jirou-san. I-If you do need something though, I'll be here at my desk studying."
She was about to tell him to get the hell out, but this WAS his room. She might be upset right now, but that was no reason to take it out on Midoriya and throw him out of his own room. She replied with a huff before ignoring her temporary host.
About half an hour later, Izuku spoke up.
"Ano, Jirou-san? I'm going downstairs to get a snack. W-Would you like me to bring you back something?" he asked. His only reply was an unladylike grunt from the rocker girl. "I'll take that as a maybe. I'll be back soon, Jirou-san."
Izuku left his room, quietly closing the door behind him, and made his way downstairs for a snack. Upon reaching the commons room though, he found Momo fretting over something.
"Oh, where could she be?" asked the rich girl to herself.
"Yaoyorozu-san?" questioned Izuku, getting her attention.
"Midoriya! Have you seen Kyouka anywhere? We were at the mall today and she just left without a word!"
Izuku looked into Yaoyorozu's eyes and saw the fear and worry in them. He knew Kyouka didn't want anyone to know where she was right now, but knowing that her and Yaoyorozu were best friends, he couldn't keep that from the rich girl.
"Sh-She's actually in my r-room right now," replied Izuku, keeping his voice down.
Momo blinked in confusion. "Your room? Why is she in your room?"
"Sh-She seemed upset over something and said she didn't want to deal with anyone right now, so she just…barged right in. She said no one would think to go looking for her in my room," explained the green-haired boy. "Normally I would respect her wishes, but you're her best friend and it's clear that you're worried about her."
Momo let out a sigh of relief, knowing that he friend was okay. "I see. Thank you for telling me, Midoriya."
"You're welcome, Yaoyorozu-san. Ano, I don't know if this is overstepping the line, but you wouldn't happen to know why Jirou-san is upset, do you?"
He watched as the raven-haired beauty grimaced. She didn't want to say anything and embarrass Kyouka further, but if there was anyone she felt could help Kyouka it was Midoriya. Especially since if Kyouka wanted to be alone, why would she head to Midoriya's room of all places?
"Well, there was an incident at the mall…"
FLASHBACK
Momo, Kyouka, and even Kaminari had gone to the mall each to do their own thing; Momo wanted to shop, Kyouka needed to restock on guitar strings, and Kaminari wanted to flirt with some of the girls at the mall. Everything was going swimmingly until…
"Ano, excuse me…"
Kyouka turned to see a redheaded girl about her age. The girl was fidgeting nervously and would avoid eye contact. This made Kyouka raise an eyebrow in confusion.
"Yeah, what do you want?" questioned the purple-haired girl, gaining a bored look. Just who was this girl?
The redhead let out a squeak of surprise before speaking. "Ah, I'm sorry! It's just me and my friends over there noticed you and thought you were kind of cute looking and they convinced me to come talk to you. S-So I w-was wondering if you w-wanted to c-come get some l-lunch…with me?"
Kyouka had a blank look on her face as she stared at the blushing girl before her. Did this girl just ask her out on a date?! She briefly glanced over at the girl's friends to see looks of anticipation on their faces. What the hell?! She was about to tell this girl no and just walk away, but a certain electric idiot just had to overhear everything.
"Wow, Jirou! I didn't know you were into girls. Then again you are always hanging out with Yaoyorozu. Anyway, congrats!"
Kyouka's face was all red, both from anger and embarrassment, as Jamming Yay once again spoke without thinking. If it weren't for the fact that his words didn't come from malice, she'd kill him where he stood. Who was she kidding…she's going to kill him anyway.
"W-Wait, y-you're a girl?!" squeaked out the redhead, shocked by this new revelation.
And that just made things worse for Kyouka. Apparently this girl didn't realize she was talking to a girl.
"Of course I'm a girl, you idiot! What the hell made you think otherwise?!" demanded Kyouka as she glared hatefully at the redhead.
"Ah! I'm sorry!" exclaimed the redhead before running off to her friends.
Kyouka was so embarrassed. It was bad enough that she didn't have curves like other girls, but for it to be so bad that girls would start asking her out because she looked like a boy? She just wanted to curl up under a rock and die.
"So wait, does this mean that you're NOT a lesbian, Jirou?" asked Kaminari, looking confused.
The next thing Kaminari knew was being knocked out by a punch from the rocker girl, leaving him with a nasty black eye for later. With Jamming Yay out of commission, Kyouka turned and stomped away, leaving the mall and ignoring Momo's calls.
FLASHBACK END
To hear that Kyouka was pretty much humiliated, Izuku's hero instincts were kicking in again and telling him that he had to at least try and make her feel better about herself. After that…he was going to have a VERY long talk with Kaminari about thinking before speaking.
"Midoriya, I know this is asking a lot, but could you talk to Kyouka for me?" asked Momo, a look of worry on her face. "I want to help her, but she's purposely avoiding me. You on the other hand, she willingly went to your room so maybe you'll have a better chance of talking to her and making her feel better."
"Don't worry, Yaoyorozu-san. I'll do everything I can to help Jirou-san," replied Izuku with a look of determination.
A smile appeared on Momo's face. "Thank you, Midoriya."
He returned the smile before heading off towards the kitchen. Momo tilted her head in confusion as she watched Izuku take out two glasses from the cabinet and fill them with milk. He then placed the glasses of milk on a tray, along with a plate of cookies Satou had made earlier, before picking up the tray and heading back towards his room.
"Good luck, Midoriya," whispered out Momo. She really hoped Kyouka would be happy again.
With Izuku, he stood before his room and balanced the tray in one hand as he opened the door. Upon entering, he noticed that Kyouka had moved and was now hiding under his bed covers. This caused him to blush slightly, but he shook it off as he was on a mission.
Placing the tray on his desk, he then sat in his chair and said the only thing that would get her attention at this moment.
"Yaoyorozu-san told me about what happened at the mall to today."
That did it as he watched Kyouka shot up from under his blankets and stared at him with wide eyes. She then gave him the nastiest glare.
"You told her I was here, didn't you?" she hissed out.
"I had to, Jirou-san," replied Izuku in a calm manner. "She's your best friend and she was worried about you since she had no idea where you were. I don't know about you, but I'd be worried over one of my friends too if something had happened to them."
"Yeah, well, what happened is none of your business!"
"Isn't it? Remember, you came barging into MY room. Not really sure why, to be honest, but I want to help you in any way I can."
He offered one of the glasses of milk to her, to which she reluctantly took but didn't take a sip. She just looked down at it, thinking about what happened earlier today. Tears started to build up in her eyes.
"M-Midoriya?"
"Jirou-san?"
"D-Do…Do you see me as a girl?" asked the shy rocker, looking up at him with teary, amethyst eyes.
She watched as a blush appeared on his freckled face.
"W-Well, y-yeah. It'd be hard to see you as anything else and I honestly don't understand how that one girl mistook you for a boy."
"In case you haven't noticed, Midoriya, I'm not really gifted in the curves department," replied Kyouka with a bitter tone. "I'm not even feminine like the other girls, so that's definitely not helping my case."
"But that doesn't change the fact that only an idiot can't tell the difference between you and a boy," replied Izuku, surprising Kyouka. "Everything about you are like big neon signs that say that you're a girl."
"Wh-What?"
"For starters, you're very beautiful, Jirou-san. From your face, to your hair, to even your Quirk, you're very beautiful."
Her face was completely red as she avoided eye contact. Did Izuku even know what he was saying?!
"Next, you're real cute when you get all shy like you do sometimes."
She had to quickly put her glass of milk on the table before she dropped it. She grabbed onto her earphone jacks as they were starting to go haywire. She tapped them together in a shy manner, inadvertently proving Izuku's words right.
"Lastly is your voice. You have a beautiful singing voice and it's clear that it belongs to a girl."
Kyouka could feel her heart beating as if she just finished a marathon. He thought her singing was beautiful?
"The point is, Jirou-san, is that you're just as much a girl as Ashido-san, Uraraka, or even Yaoyorozu-san. You might think you're…lacking in some regards, but I honestly think that doesn't matter. You're Jirou Kyouka and I wouldn't have you any other way," stated Izuku with a cute, freckled smile.
She felt faint. This…this…cinnamon roll was making her feel things she never felt before. What really scared her is that she could tell he meant every single word that came out of his mouth and he wasn't just pulling them out of his ass. Maybe that was why she came to his room in the first place. The reason she gave him earlier was a lie as she came here without thinking. After what happened to her today, deep down she had hoped that Izuku would make her feel better as the green-haired boy would always go out of his way to help others if something was wrong.
She just didn't expect him to go this far.
"D-Do you really mean that, Midoriya?" asked Kyouka in a shy manner. "D-Do you really think I'm b-beautiful and c-cute and have a b-beautiful voice?"
It was Izuku's turn to blush as he realized the words he said earlier. "W-Well, yeah. J-Just like how only an idiot wouldn't be able to tell the difference between you and a boy, only an idiot wouldn't be able to see or hear how b-beautiful you really are, Jirou-san."
Kyouka was glad she came to Izuku's room. She felt so much better now. Taking off the blankets, she stood from the bed and made her way over to Izuku, earning a confused look from the boy. Once she was standing in front of him, she leaned forward and wrapped her arms around him in a hug.
"Thank you, Midoriya."
He could feel dampness on his shoulder, telling him that she was crying. He wrapped his own arms around her to return the hug and pulled her onto his lap so she would be more comfortable.
"You don't need to thank me for speaking the truth, Jirou-san."
"Kyouka."
"Huh?"
"Y-You can call me Kyouka," replied Kyouka. Her blush then became a little brighter "W-Would it be okay if I called you Izuku?"
Izuku's blush became a bit brighter now. "I-If you w-want to…Kyouka."
A shy smile appeared on her face as she snuggled closer to the cinnamon roll. Her smiled widened when she felt his hand go up and down her back in a soothing motion.
"Izuku?"
"Hm?"
"Can I stay with you a bit longer? I feel a lot better now, but I still don't really feel like dealing with anyone else right now."
"…Stay as long as you need, Kyouka."
Her only reply was to reach up and place a kiss on his freckled cheek, causing both of them to blush. Instead of backing away from each other in embarrassment though, Izuku held her closer while Kyouka snuggled up to him once more.

Sometime later, Izuku and Kyouka made an appearance in the commons room. What caught everyone's attention though was how Kyouka was latched onto one of Izuku's arms and how Izuku wasn't freaking out like he usually would around girls.
"Kaminari-san! Can you come here for a moment?" asked Izuku as Kyouka let go of his arm.
The blond with the black eye raised an eyebrow as he made his way over to the green-haired boy.
"What's up, Midoriya?" asked Kaminari. He then let out a yelp as Midoriya put him in a headlock and started dragging him towards the door. "M-Midoriya! Wh-What are you doing?!"
"We're going to have a little spar, Kaminari-san," replied Izuku in a tone that sent shivers down everyone's spines. "That and I believe you need a lesson on how to think before speaking."
"Eh?!"
As Izuku and his captive left the dorm, they were followed by Iida, Todoroki, Tokoyami, Kirishima, Sero, and surprisingly Bakugou to figure out what the hell was going on between Midoriya and Kaminari and to make sure Kaminari wasn't put in traction.
With the others, Momo turned to Kyouka with a confused look.
"Kyouka, what exactly happened between you and Midoriya?" asked the raven-haired girl, catching the attention of everyone else.
Kyouka only turned to her best friend with a smile. "Let me put it this way, Yaomomo. Thanks for telling Izuku about what happened today."
Momo's eyes widened before she gave off a beaming smile when she realized what Kyouka was getting at. She gave her best friend a hug, which was returned by the shy rocker.
"I'm glad your feeling better, Kyouka, and congratulations to both you and Midoriya!"
The two friends broke the hug and started to talk, with the other girls joining in. Meanwhile, Kaminari's cries of terror echoed into the night.

I've actually been sick for two weeks with a real nasty flu. I'm finally over it and this one-shot was a way to get back into the groove of writing after the brief hiatus. New chapters for some of my stories should be up soon as I was actually working on them before I fell ill.
