A/N: Hey guys! Vittorio Fedele here and welcome to my new story! This story is based on Rayman 2, one of the games i grew up with by playing the PS2 remake, Rayman Revolution. I hope you enjoy it!

A mysterious villain, Mr. Dark, had tried to take over the world, but was stopped by a hero. This hero had no neck, arms or legs, with his head, hands and feet floating. He had black eyes, a large orange nose and two tufts of blond hair, and he wore a purple shirt with a mysterious white ring-shaped symbol, a red scarf, white gloves, and yellow shoes. He was Rayman. He was capable of shooting his fists at enemies, spin his hair like the blades of a helicopter, and recently he had also learned to shoot energy balls from his hands. This is the beginning of his biggest adventure.

After defeating Mr. Dark, Rayman moved to the Glade of Dreams, where he made new friends, including Globox, a blue amphibian with white hands and belly, his pink wife Uglette, and their 650 children. Globox is the limbless hero's best friend, and he was once red, but before meeting Rayman, he was attacked by Mosquitoes, in particular, the blue ones. There were also Ssssam, a purple sea snake with a red scarf, the Teensies, mysterious creatures, and their king, the Grand Minimus, Clark, a yellow giant, Carmen, a purple whale, and Ly, a mysterious fairy, of which little is known.

Some time later, there was an attack. Admiral Razorbeard, with his Robo-Pirate army, the Henchman 800, attacked the Glade of Dreams to enslave its inhabitants. Rayman and his friends all teamed up against the pirates, and attacked their base in the Great Forest. Unfortunately, something went wrong: the pirates attacked the Heart of the World, a mysterious sphere in which all the energies of the world are concentrated, and destroyed it, scattering the 1000 yellow Lums that form it for the whole world. As a result, Rayman was weakened to an extent that he couldn't even attack and only use the helicopter, so he was captured and imprisoned in the "Buccaneer", the prison-ship where the slaves are locked up, and after that, he lost hope to defeat his enemies.

''Rayman, look what the pirates have done to our world. A planet of anguish and pain, haunted by evil. A dark place, teeming with fierce monsters. Nothing can stop them, now that they have captured you. They've taken everything and reduced our people to slaves. The Robo-pirates search for innocent prey. In the chaos, they exploded the Heart of the World. The one-thousand Lums of energy that form it have been scattered. We are getting weak, soon it will be too late... You must escape, Rayman. You are our only hope!'' At that moment, he received a telepathic message from Ly, who sent him someone to help.

By now, on board the Buccaneer there were already 19,000 slaves of various kinds, from the Denys, the minisaurs, to the Ludivs, the fairies, and their moans were heard all over the place. Globox, remembering what Ly had told him, had to get caught by the pirates and hope to end up in the same cell as Rayman, so he could take him to safety. Luckily, it ended up like this, and he saw him with his head lowered, and a sad expression on his face. He gently touched his foot and called him.

''Rayman?''

Rayman opened his eyes and raised his head, and upon seeing Globox, he felt a great joy inside of him.

''GLOBOX! MY FRIEND!'' he shouted, before throwing himself at his friend and hugging him.

''Are you OK, Rayman?'' asked Globox, who put him back on the ground.

''Not really, i feel weak and my powers have disappeared. You know Globox, i think this might be the end...'' murmured the limbless hero. He was completely hopeless and the amphibian looked at him confusedly, then he said:

''No! Not the end! Globox brings good gift from Ly!''

''Ly, the fairy?'' These words returned hope to Rayman, as Globox opened his mouth and took a bright sphere, which split up and then entered the symbol on his shirt. ''A Silver Lum! Incredible! I can feel its energy building up in me! Now I can hit with my fist again! Globox, we're saved!''

He let out a shout of joy, then told his friend that they had to get out of there and had to look for Ly, since he could probably return his powers to him. Using his fist, he destroyed a grate and started to slide through a vent, but at the end, he stopped to wait for Globox, who, while sliding, accidentally hit him, and ended up in two opposite directions.

Rayman fell into a bright forest. He was dizzy, but he shaked it off after a few seconds. He noticed that Globox was gone, so he called him.

''Globox? Globox, where are you? Globox! Can you hear me? GLOOBOOX!''

Globox wasn't anywhere around. Rayman didn't went forward for long before he met a green insect similar to a fly.

''Hi Rayman! Glad to see that you escaped!'' he said.

''Not to be rude, but, who are you?'' asked Rayman.

''My name is Murfy, and I'm here to be your guide. I am known as the flying encyclopedia.'' replied the fly.

"Nice to meet you, Murfy." said Rayman. ''Anyway, have you seen my friend Globox somewhere? He's a blue amphibian with a white belly.''

''No, I'm sorry, I haven't seen him. By the way, do you see that stone next to us there?'' asked Murfy, referring to a stone with his face.

''Yeah, why?'' asked Rayman.

''This magic stone is the Stone of Thoughts, capable of reading in your thoughts. If you need some help, come closer and I will appear in your mind to help you. You can also contact me, if you have any doubts, I'm always here next to you.'' Murfy explained.

''I understand. Where am I?''

''You are in the Woods of Light. Some Teensies are ahead, they may know a way to find your friend. Do you want me to accompany you?''

''All right. Thanks, Murfy.''

The two walked around and after a few steps they found themselves in front of a waterfall and an entrance blocked by a wooden grate, with a cage above, and when Rayman destroyed it, a blue creature emerged like a mixture between a dragonfly and a blue Lum.

"What's this?" he asked.

''You just released a little Familiar spirit! The Familiar spirits are friends of fairies. Do you know one?''

''Yes, her name is Ly. She left me a telepathic message to tell me I had to escape from the prison-ship, but I don't know where she is. Maybe these spirits are her friends.'' said the hero.

''It could be. There are 80 of them scattered around the world. Every time you free 10 of them, they will improve your stamina.'' Murfy explained.

After falling, they found a yellow winged sphere.

''Hey, it's a Yellow Lum! Ly told me that the Heart of the World was destroyed and the 1000 Yellow Lums that formed it were scattered!'' exclaimed Rayman.

''Then try to find them all. I will let you know how many Lums you need to find and how many Familiar spirits to save for each area of the world. You have already found a Familiar spirit here, and there are five Lums in this area. Four left.'' said Murfy.

During a small climb, they found three more Lums, and using the helicopter, Rayman reached three baby Globox waiting for him.

''Daddy saved Rayman! But, where's Daddy?'' they asked. They were happy that Rayman was safe, but they didn't know where their father had gone, and he was hesitant to give them the bad news, knowing that they wouldn't take it well.

''Uh, that's to say, we were separated and, uhh...'' he tried to explain.

The baby Globoxes realized everything and burst into tears.

''No Daddy Globox?''

''We want our daddy!''

''Don't worry, kiddies! I'll bring your dad back.'' Rayman said to try to confort them. ''But first, I have to find Ly. She likes to meditate around here. Have you seen her?'' he asked.

''The mean old pirates took Ly over there!'' said the little ones, still in tears and indicating an area at their right.

"I've got to set her free!" Rayman exclaimed.

Shortly thereafter, Rayman and Murfy found themselves in front of two very narrow walls, between which the hero could climb, and also found the last yellow lum of the area, and then destroyed a cage, from which four Teens emerged, among which one with the crown.

''Splendind, Rayman! I'm king of the Teensies, and i want to congratulate you on your courage.'' said the Teensie with the crown, which was the most right. But the one on his left stole it.

''Don't listen to him! I am the king of the Teensies!'' he exclaimed.

Rayman was flabbergasted. What going on? ''But...'' he murmured, confused.

The second Teensie to the left took the crown and put it on his head.

''No! I'm the real king!'' he replied.

''Come on, who's the king of you guys?'' asked Rayman, as Murfy tried to say something, but nothing came out of his mouth.

''Yeah, really, it's me!'' said the Teensie who had the crown, before the one on the far left stole it. At this point, everyone was starting to fight.

''Me!''

''Me!''

''Me!''

''Me!''

''Me!''

''No, me!''

Murfy was unimpressed by the situation, and Rayman was about to lose his patience. He had to immediately look for Globox and Ly, and he had no time for this useless quarrel.

"STOP!" he shouted, forcing all the Teens to shut up. Currently, the crown stood on the head of the second Teensie on the left. ''Does this look like the time to quarrel to you? I've got to find Globox and Ly, do you know where they are?'' he asked, still irritated.

The Teensies, clearly embarrassed, stopped arguing, and the one with the crown gave it to the one on his right, who began to speak.

''Erm... what i have to say it's really dreadful...'' he said.

"What happened?'' asked Rayman.

''The pirates have thrown Ly and Globox into prison.'' replied the Teensie.

''Now what do we do?''

''But don't worry. All is not lost. Because using the energy of the five lums you picked up, we can to send you to the front, where the pirates are. When you're there, look for the Teensies Circle, wehre we'll tell you everything there. By the way, before being captured, Ly left behind a Silver Lum for you. The energy of this Lum is enough to give you back the power of the Magic Fist: now you can shoot energy balls again.''

''Great! Thanks!'' exclaimed Rayman, happy to have taken over another of his powers.

''Since you have the 5 Yellow Lums, you can go. We will create a magic spiral-shaped door that will lead you to the Minisaurus Plain. Get ready for the big journey...'' said the Teensie, who created the passage, and Rayman entered it.
