"We're finally here! We've finally made it to Jubilife city". Dawn shouts as they make their way into the city's borders. Dawn runs ahead as the rest of the group trails behind her calmly. Ash is taking in the sights, while Jessie & James are fighting over something, Brock has his head inside his guide books figuring out where to go, and Meowth is instructing Mew(in her Pichu form) on how to act in front of a bunch of humans.

"Calm down Dawn what's got you in such a big rush anyways, the Contest isn't for another 2 days". Ash points out as he catches up to his cousin.

"I know, but I want to get a poketch while we're here". Dawn says turning around and brandishing a magazine opened up to the image of a high tech watch?

"A Poketch what's that"? Ash asks taking the magazine to take a closer look at what it says. A touch screen watch with a bunch of apps to download. The newest fashion trend among coordinators.

"Only the most popular accessory among Coordinators, and I'm going to go get myself one, do you want to come with, and get one for yourself"? Dawn says grabbing the magazine back. The boys look at each other silently agreeing not to go, girl, plus shopping equals pain for them.

"I'm game. I need everything I can get to become the best coordinator around". Jessie says before Grabbing James's arm. "Come on James your paying".

"Wait what"?!

"No I'm good dawn I already have an Xtransceiver, I don't need another high tech watch". Ash says flashing his watch to get out of this.

"Ash let's head to the pokemon center together and get rooms for the night for everyone". Brock says leaving with Ash, and Mew to not have to deal with the May 2.0 of shopping, leaving James, and Meowth to go shopping with Dawn and Jessie. The boys make their way to the Pokemon Center and get rooms for everyone, get Ash registered to enter the gym challenges for the league and get something to eat while they wait.

(3 hours later)

"We're Back"! Jessie sings as the group makes their way over to the table. Jessie and Dawn each had a brand new Poketch on their wrists in red and pink respectively, while the boys are carrying their weight in bags.

"Welcome back girls, I thought you were only out to get Poketch's". Brock says amused, and a little sorry for James, and Meowth.

"We were, but while we were out we saw a sale, and couldn't help ourselves". Dawn says holding up two shopping bags of her own. "And Mew I got you something".

"Ohhh present present present, what did you get me? Is it a Toy? Food? Or something else"? Mew(transformed into a Pichu) asks trying to dive into a shopping bag to find her gift. But Dawn pulls her away last second.

"Hold on a second Mew, I'll show you in a second, but cover your eyes first, or else it will ruin the surprise". Dawn says as Mew covers her eyes, while she turns around to grab the present. Mew, on the other hand, tries to peek to see her present sooner, and like she knew this was going to happen Dawn says without looking behind her. "And no peeking". This causes Mew to re-cover her eyes. Soon Dawn pulls out a pink and Blue cheerleader outfit and holds it in front of Mew.

"You can open your eyes now Mew". Dawn says as the legendary pokemon uncovers her eyes. When she sees her gift, mew starts to make a sound Akin to a growlithe whistle and grabs the outfit tanking Dawn all along the way.

"Thank you! thank you! thank you! Dawn, I love it". Mew says excitedly noticing that the outfit would fit her in either her Pichu form or her real one.

"I'm glad you like it, Mew, I bought 4 more as well, plus one for me". Dawn says brandishing 5 more cheerleader outfits in different sizes.

"Uhh Dawn why did you buy 4 more"? Ash asks nervously pointing to the outfits

"One for Piplup, Aipom, Jigglypuff, and one for Buneary. I talked this over with them before and they can wear these outfits to cheer for us when they aren't performing". Dawn explains before putting them back in the bag.

"Well, it looks like you had a successful shopping trip". Brock says amused watching the girls sort through all their treasures from their trip.

"We even bought a bunch of seals to use in the contest". Dawn says brandishing some capsules with different images on them, before handing some to Ash. "Here".

"Wow, thanks Dawn but what do these do exactly"? Ash asks, curious never heard about these before.

"Why don't I just show you". Dawn says taking out a heart pattern seal, and a Pokeball. Then she puts the seal on the ball. "Okay, now when I release my pokemon, instead of just the usual white light you get something a little more special. Like this Go Pokeball".

Dawn tosses the Pokeball and from the light emerges Piplup in the center of a flurry of hearts.

"Cool". Ash says looking over the seals thinking of how he can use them in his contest.

"I know, coordinators often find ways to incorporate these in their performance as well". Dawn explains being the more knowledgeable one for once.

"Awesome, I think I can use this in my performance as well". Ash says looking at a certain seal forming a plan for the big day.

Over the next day, all three trainers work to perfect their strategies for the contest. Ash worked with his two pokemon for the contest getting their moves down perfect. Dawn worked with Piplup and Jigglypuff confident in their win, with Aipom helping them out. And Jessie worked with Dustox, and a pokemon she borrowed from James. Soon all three were ready for the contest, and none of them were going to go easy on the other, but only one can win.
