Fifteen years...

It was fifteen years since she committed the accidental murder with her boyfriend, Rob, and she never paid the price. She wanted this to be eternity since she had a successful career and a family of her own.

That is, until now. Mia is seen handcuffed on the table of the police station after watching her son perform a school production of Bugsy Malone. She is arrested for the murders of Shazia Akhand, along with her husband and their baby child if she is not mistaken. That's the reason the police arrested her for after going to her son's play. She had a wonderful life, and now it's all ruined.

How could this have happened? she thought with bitterness. I made sure no one else saw what I did, not even the baby. What did I missed?

Before she could think of her answer, a policewoman came by to talk to her.

"So you're Mia Nolan," she said, clearing her throat. "Nice name for someone who had a future ahead in architecture."

"What do you want me to say?" Mia sobbed with tears on her eyes. "I'm really sorry, okay? I did what I had to do. I had a life. I had a job, a family. If I go to jail, what would I do with my life? What about my family? How would they go on without me?"

"Well, you don't have a life now. Not anymore," the policewoman glared closely at her face. "As for your husband and son, you won't be seeing them for a long time. You took a woman's life, and so you did with her husband and baby. Not only that, but according to the Recaller, you killed someone fifteen years ago."

"It was Rob, he was drunk at the time, so it was an accident," Mia pleaded. "An accident."

"Uh huh, but what about Rob? He wanted to come clean, and you killed him."

"What else can I do? I don't wanna go to jail. I don't wanna go to jail!"

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Nolan, but you will."

The policewoman left the room, giving Mia the dirty look. As far as Mia knows, she lost everything now that her murders have been exposed. Not only she will be jail for a long time, but also she will be deprived from seeing her husband and son during her sentence.

Her punishment is a well-deserved punishment.
