It was a beautiful night when Hestia Rhea Grace was born. You could see the stars twinkling in the night sky like a thousand jewels, and the light from the north star shone inside a room with blank white walls. In this room was a bed,this bed was the bed in which Beryl had just given birth to Hestia's twin, Thalia Grace a minute and fifty seconds before, Beryl thought that she was only going to have one baby,but the contractions started up again And as the doctors encouraged her to push,a few minutes later Tia (what i'm calling Hestia so we don't confuse her with the goddess) came out. Tia didn't cry like a regular baby did after being born. No, Tia giggled. The doctors cut the cord and asked Beryl Grace if she wanted to put one of her children out for adoption.

"No, thank you doctor," Beryl said coolly

Beryl walked out of the hospital with her two bundles of joy in each arm. Well ,one bundle of joy, Thalia was a bundle of angst, even just after being born.

Beryl laughed when Thalia pouted as She tried to tickle her,and then Beryl suddenly realized, she didn't have a name for Thalia's twin,as she was only expecting one kid. On a whim she decided to name her,Hestia after the eldest child of Kronos, and Rhea for a middle name after her grandmother. Tia cooed Beryl knew that her name would suit the little bundle of joy in her arms. They were walking to the car When Beryl hugged Tia and whispered to her.

"Hestia Rhea Grace, you are the light of mine and your sister's life."

Little Tia's smile stretched all the way to the corners of her mouth, revealing her dimples. Beryl smiled and hugged her two children, But suddenly a cold air enveloped her, Like even the air itself knew something would go wrong. But Beryl didn't notice this gust of cold air, It was December after all. She just hugged her children closer to spread her bodies warmth, and as Tia hugged her mother her little face shining with joy. Beryl 's solemn expression involuntarily turned into a smile, Tia seemed to have that affect on everyone she met and even the angst queen herself,(Thalia) was giving a tiny smile.

Once Beryl had gotten Tia and Thalia in the baby carseat together,yes together Beryl only had one seat after all. she decided she had to shop for them once she got home. Beryl silently thanked the gods for inventing the internet as she pulled into the driveway. She didn't know WHAT she would of done if she couldn't shop online.

After she got into the driveway-Thalia was surprisingly calm, though Beryl didn't doubt that it was because of Tia being there. She smiled as she saw that they had fallen asleep in the carseat together , her little Tia was special alright, no doubt about it.

And as she picked up her two beautiful baby girls, She whispered

" I love you".

I made Beryl more caring on purpose, If she was exactly like canon Beryl she wouldn't have kept Tia.
