Harry James Potter was a very old man, he had lived a life more interesting most and it was now coming to an end. He had not searched for death, he was not crazy nor suicidal, that is not to say he did not welcome deaths embrace when it came for him. Harry had lost many people during his life. Some he did not miss much, others he lost far to soon and grieved for many years.

The war was won by the light but in reality everybody lost. Nobody came out victorious, everybody lost more than they should have. Unfortunately there was nothing for it but to pick up the pieces and try to carry on.

Harry sat in his chair surrounded by family that hoped he would not see for a very long time. Friends, children, grandchildren and thise he considered his own siblings. He smiled peacefully and closed his eyes one last time. He breathed in one last time and out again, his heart beat its last beat and Harry Potter was no more. Although his heart may have stopped he would forever live in the hearts of others, lost but never forgotten.

Harry came to again in very familiar place and he was not happy about it.

Harry found himself back in the playground at Little Whinging, Surry. He could see his younger self arguing with Dudley and his friends and deduced it was the summer before his fifth year. Harry searched his pockets and found his wand and a note.

Harry Potter

You have been goven a chance to save a soul or two, use it wisely for it is your last.

The note wasn't signed by anybody and the handwritting looked almost perfect that he could not recognise it. Harry soon realised the opportunity before him. He had a chance to save all the people he could not the first time. A chance to reconnect with all those that died to soon and never lived a proper life.

"Or I could go see them on the other side of the veil. Yeah fuck this."

Harry apparated directly into the ministry building and strode purposefully towards the elevators, not stopping to have his wand checked at all. Three stops later and Harry had reached the lowest level of the Ministry building.

"Excuse me, this is a restricted area, do you have any identification?" A young auror asked Harry outside a plain black door.

"Of course." Harry pulled his wand from his pocket and stunned the auror and his partner with one spell. When a dark lords chasing your tail one tends to pick up a few things to help them.

Harry entered the circular room of doors and blasted every single one of them off their hinges. Four unspeakables chased after him as he walked calmly into the death chamber.

A shield covered his back to stop the stunners, body binders and petrifying jinxes the unspeakables sent his way. Without a moments hesitation Harry kept walking right through the mysterious arch way that is said to be a gateway to death.

"Peace at last." Was the last thought Harry James Potter thought as he met his family and all he had lost in the after life.
