*cough* Okay, I've been inspired by One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda. Now, there will be some similarities but other than that, I'm not using any of the characters or things from One Piece to this. So, it's NOT a crossover. Just... more of inspired, is all. *grin*
So, this is Katekyo Hitman Reborn with pirate version! (in a way)
Tsuna will be slightly different as he is older, which by the way, he's sixteen years old.
Warning: unbeta. English is my second. ASL is my first, I'm Deaf. *peace*
Plus, I used Google translation so I apologize in advance if had mistakes. *sheepishly*
I don't own Katekyo Hitman Reborn. None. *sigh sadly*
Enjoy~? :)

Two marines with a sword, pointed at his sides with cautious while one marine with a gun pointed at his head from behind.
Numerous eyes watched the infamous King of the Seven Seas walked, calmly with blank eyes toward the platform in the middle of the center. Soon, when Vongola arrived at the platform with two indestructible poles on the side from five feet apart. When the Vongola stood in the middle, one of the marines quickly attached the chain on the left pole while other marine placed the other chain on the right pole.
After they double-checked to ensure the chains are attached tightly and secured. They step back while the weapons are pointed at his direction. The marine nods his head with satisfied and raised his hand as a signal. Soon, the sound of the machine heard and clacking and screeching from metal against metal.
Before the people knew, the poles shifted upward high enough as if for the world to see. Dangling limping in the middle of the air between two poles with chains attached to the wrists. Vongola tilted his head as his eyes are on the ground.
A loud boom voice heard from the speaker. "Any last words, Vongola Giotto?"
Tense and eerily silent as the eyes stayed on the infamous King of the Seven Seas, they couldn't take their eyes off as their breath held in. Waiting, watching this man.
A sharp smirked appeared on his face and tilted his head up as his nose-length bang covered his right eyes. Making him look more seductive as his golden tint orange eye shines brighter than the fire. "The Seven Seas Treasures are broken and scattered across the ocean, whoever finds it, could have a real, paradise wish." Then he chuckled humorlessly. "Good luck finds it all, Mister Government." He mockingly said.
People gasped at this discovered news and soon, the chaos and shouted heard from the crowded. The loud boom voice was furious rage. "KILL HIM! NOW!" the bottom of the platform opened; a large circular weapon pointed upward at the dangling target from below.
Vongola's smirked faded to an alluring and heartbreakingly smile with softened eyes. "Goodbye." He fluttered his eyes shut and embraced his death by covered in flame.
It feels like it has taken hours but when in reality, it's only been a few minutes until his body was reduced to ashes, flying through the sky that Vongola Giotto, the infamous King of the Seven Seas is long dead and gone, forever.

Location: Neutral Sea
Namimori Town, Bay Island
It a peaceful Bay Island, one of the well-known for excellent fishermen, farmers, and seamstresses. The island has a few towns which are calm and quiet. There's hardly any crime happening on this island, only the crime was a thief and that was years ago. One of the towns, that is called Namimori Town where a young sixteen years old boy with brown defying gravity hair with nose-length bangs, large caramel-brown eyes, fair skin, petite and slim body with an androgynous face. He wears a simple dark navy-blue u-neck long sleeves shirt, dark jeans, orange and white sneakers, and a white apron tied around his waist. His name is Sawada, Tsunayoshi who preferred Tsuna, currently working as a waiter in a small restaurant.
Tsuna wipes down the bar counter with a clean rag while few customers are chatting and eating in their tables. One of the customers, an older female walked up the bar counter. "Excuse me?"
"Hai?" Tsuna halted as he placed a professional smile at the customer.
The female smiles politely. "I would like to purchase a bottle of wine."
"Of course, what kind?"
"Sauvignon Blanc, please."
Tsuna nodded his head and asked the customer to wait and quickly went to the back room. His caramel eyes scanned the shelves until landed on a specific wine. He reached it, grabbed it and walked back to the bar counter. He placed it on the counter and slid it to her. "That would be ten bronzes." The customer took out ten coppers from her purse and handed it to Tsuna. "Thank you for purchasing and have a good day."
"You too." The customer said with a smile as she picked up her wine and left the restaurant.
The petite boy hummed softly to himself as he returns back to cleaning the bar counter. He paused when he heard the noises outside of the restaurant. His caramel eyes drifted up and saw a few marines walking down the path.
Tsuna raised his eyebrow in confusion. It's very rare to see marines in Namimori Town since it was one of the most peaceful and quiet towns on Bay Island. The people noticed the marines right away as they glanced and whispers to themselves with curiosity.
"They're looking for someone." A deep voice speaks up from behind Tsuna who yelped in surprise.
Tsuna jerked around as his hand clenched onto his shirt. "Boss, you scared me." He muttered in slight nervous and irritated.
His boss who is known as Dante, a mid-fifties man with silver hair that tied back loose, a short white beard, glasses covered his sharp wise blue eyes, dark skin, and he wears a white shirt-sleeves shirt, dark shorts, and tanned flip-flop. He grinned at Tsuna. "Always be aware of your surroundings, kiddo." He wisely informed Tsuna then his sharp blue eyes drifted to the windows. "They are here because they're searching for someone."
Tsuna frowned with puzzling. "Who could they be looking for?" he asked with confused and curious.
Dante stroke his beard with contemplative eyes. "I've heard a rumor that they are searching for a man."
"Who?" the petite asked with interested as his caramel eyes shifted to the poster board where the bounty posters are. Maybe he'll find it on the board?
"It's not on there, kiddo." Dante said with knowing eyes as he shook his head. "What they are looking for is an impossible man. A man who never misses a shot when it comes to his target. Not once." He leaned against the bar counter with his arms crossed.
Tsuna furrowed his eyebrows while thinking. 'A man that never misses a shot? That's… impossible.' He mused, disbelieved.
"Even the governments and marines having trouble to take a photo of him."
"Can't they draw instead? I mean that would be the best next thing, right?"
Dante nodded his head. "I agreed, however, I heard that no one has ever seen his appearance before. Those who have are already dead. I did hear that he wears black but that was about it." He informed with a shrug.
The brunette boy hummed with slight nervously. "I-I see. So, they are looking for him, but why here of all islands?" that was the part he doesn't understand.
"That I don't know. It's a mystery." His boss said, then he pushed himself away from the counter and smiles grandfatherly at Tsuna. "Now, I believe your shift is already over. You should head home and check on your ma." He jerked his head at the exit door.
Tsuna blinked, glanced at the clock in surprised to see that his shift was over about five minutes ago. He quickly unties the apron from his waist. "See you tomorrow, boss." He placed the apron on the hook and duck underneath the counter.
The petite boy left the restaurant and stroll down the dirt path. He exchanges a few pleasant nods and smiles at the familiar faces. He loves his town where he was born and raised in all his sixteen years of life. His mother was one of the best seamstresses and he, himself is a good helper whenever anyone needs him. Tsuna doesn't remember his father as his mother told him that he was living among the stars. Tsuna assumed that his father was dead and never ask for him again after that when he saw his mother's sad face.
Namimori Town is a peaceful town on this island, as Bay Island is filled with Japanese cultures, along with some English culture. A mixture of Japanese and English, but mostly Japanese. Tsuna knew that there are millions of islands in this world that has all kinds of different cultures and languages. He was one of the lucky few that his mother taught him Japanese, English, and a little bit of Italian. He was surprised when he discovered that his mother knew some Italian but happy to learn it a long ago.
His caramel eyes scanned his surroundings and saw some few travelers and seafarers which isn't very uncommon. He wishes to leave this town, this island and travel the world in a boat for fun adventures and write down the story for his mother to read. He recalled that his mother always wants to leave the island and travel the world, to see the beauty of the islands, their cultures, and meet all kinds of people. Unfortunately, his mother never is able to achieve such a thing because of her accident over ten years ago.
When Tsuna arrived at the neighborhood, he quickly darts to one of the humble one-story cream-colored houses with a garden on the front yard and a large tree with an old tire tied around a thick branch by a strong rope. The petite boy walked to his home, opened the door with a key and opened his mouth. "I'm home." He slipped off his sneakers before he shut the door behind him.
Tsuna walked down the hallway to the living room and smiles at his beautiful mother who is focused on sewing the dress across on her lap. "Mama." He called out gently as he walked to her.
His mother halted as she blinked and glanced up. Her beautiful face with large caramel eyes, fair skin, brown hair that grown to her shoulders with bangs that covered her forehead, and she dressed in a pink sundress with a pale-yellow apron. Her name was Sawada, Nana.
Nana beamed at her son. "Tsu-kun! Welcome home." She said happily as she carefully placed the dress on the coffee table and a needle on top. She opened her arms at him which Tsuna complied with and hugged her. "How's work?"
"It was fine." Tsuna breaks the hug and squeezes his mother's hands. "You?" he glanced over the dress on the coffee table with curious.
Nana hummed. "Midori-chan's daughter needs a dress for her first date with a charming sailor." She briefly explained with excited eyes. Tsuna nodded his head with understanding when his mother is making one now. "Now, allow me to get you some tea." Tsuna steps back and watched his mother used her hands to wheel herself to the kitchen area.
The brunette boy watched his mother in a wheelchair who is humming cheerfully. His heart squeeze, he knew how much his mother was devastated when she learned that she is paralyzed from the waist down and her dream, is now a pipe dream. It's not safe for her to go adventures outside the ocean. Which is why he vowed that he will travel for his mother's sake and write a story about his experiences and adventures and everything. So, his mother can read and enjoy it, as if she experiences it herself.
But first thing first, he needs to save money and wait to grow a little older. "Oh, Tsu-kun…" Tsuna snapped out of it and blinked at his mother who is currently looking for tea bags in her container. "…I saw a couple of marines wandering around in our neighborhood, is something wrong?" she asked with curiosity.
"Ah… boss told me that they are looking for a criminal." He answered with concerned frowned. He doesn't want any dangerous criminal to go near his mother.
Nana paused as she glanced at her son with surprise. "In Namimori?" she was taken aback by this since Namimori Town hardly have any crime. Tsuna nodded his head and Nana hummed with interested then return back to the tea bags. "Tsu-kun, can you go to that cupboard and see if we have any hojicha tea?"
Tsuna obeyed his mother's request as he went to the kitchen, opened one of the cupboards and scanned the cans and jars until he found an unopened box of hojicha flavor. He reached it but paused when he saw a dull yellow envelope lay against the wall. He grabbed it, took it out along with hojicha tea and set the box down. "Than—oh?" Nana tilted her head when she saw the envelope in her son's hands.
"Mama, what's this?" he asked while examined the blank envelope as he turned is over. Nana wheeled over to the counter and grabbed the unopened box before placed the container back.
"I completely forgot about that." Nana mumbled as she glanced at the envelope with sad eyes. "It belonged to your father."
Tsuna jerked his head at his mother in shock. "Eh? Re-really?" Nana nodded her head as she opened the box and wheeled to the stove where the teapot is.
The brunette boy stared at his mother who continued making the tea. "W-what should I do with this?" he asked, confused and curious.
"…you should keep it." Nana smiles lovely when she glanced at her sweet son. "It's probably the only thing you have left of your father."
Tsuna's lips line firmly then stared at the envelope. He carefully opened it, dug his hand in and felt the metal object. He took it out and blinked. His caramel eyes observed the object quietly. "It's a ring?" he blinked once again.
Nana hummed as she tilted her head. "Is that so?" her son showed her the ring and they both observed the object. It's a silver ring with a blue gem on the middle that has odd white smoke engraved inside the blue gem. And the strange foreign words around the blue gem. "It looked so historic." Nana said with interested.
"Hai." Tsuna agreed with his mother then he handed it to her. "You should keep it, it was from father."
His mother shook her head, rejected as she pushed the ring inside Tsuna's palm and curled his fingers closed. "No, you should keep it. I have memories of him in my heart… and you have nothing." She lovely pats Tsuna's hand. "Now you have this. Keep it." She strongly suggested her son determined in her caramel eyes.
Her son slumped his shoulders but smiles at her. "Okay, mama. I'll keep it safe with me." Nana beamed at him.
Tsuna has no idea that because of this ring, it would change his entire life.

A Week Later…
A sound of pitter and patter from the rain outside of the restaurant while Tsuna placed the few clean glasses of cups back on the shelves in a calm atmosphere. His caramel eyes overlook the barely empty restaurant, there are only a few customers in the table and two people on the barstool, drinking their alcohol. It was one of the calm and quiet days in the restaurant as it has been raining for the past two days in Namimori Town. His boss went out for an errand while ago.
Then a door opened which caught Tsuna's attention. "Welcome." He said with a professional smile and blinked in slight curious. 'I never see him before… a traveler?' he mused silently. He observed the customer who is a man looked about to be in his twenties, he wears a yellow long-sleeved dress shirt, black tie, black waistcoat, black blazer, along with matching black slacks, polished black fancy leather shoes, and black fedora hat with an orange stripe. Tsuna couldn't see his face but he noted that this man has fair skin and black spiky hair underneath his fedora hat.
The man walked to one of the bar stools and smoothly sat down. "Ciao." Even his voice is smooth and graceful.
The brunette boy cleared his throat. "U-umm… what would you like?" he asked, politely.
"A whiskey." He ordered strongly.
Tsuna nodded his head, he grabbed a clean glass of cup and grabbed a whiskey to pour down in a cup. After that, he gently slid the glass of cup to the mysterious customer. Then he grabbed a clean rag and start cleaning the counter.
It's been quiet for a few minutes until Tsuna noticed a marine walked pass the window outside in the rain. A frowned appeared on his face. 'How long are they going to stay here? Don't they noticed that it's making townspeople uncomfortable?' he mused, disapproved. He has noticed that most of the children who used to play outside are now mostly inside because their mothers are nervous while the father is eyeing at them with cautioned. Even the elders leave their jobs early because the marines make them feel stressed.
"You looked disapproval." A mystery silk voice said that caught Tsuna's attention.
Tsuna halted his cleaning as he turned to the customer who is a circle around the glass of whiskey in his hand, slowly and lazily around in the air. The words process in his mind then shifted his caramel-eyes back to the window. "…they are making everyone uncomfortable." He replied softly with a frowned.
"How so?"
The petite boy sighed as he leaned forward, crossed his arms on the counter while keeping his eyes at the window. Watching the rain hitting against the glass. "The marines have been here a week now. They've been searching for a man." Tsuna answered, politely. "But all they do was making this town tense and edgy." He added.
The mystery man hummed with polite interested. He tilted his head, eyes glanced back at the window, covered by his fedora hat that Tsuna couldn't see the color of this man's eyes. "Who?"
Tsuna shrugged his shoulders with slightly uninterested eyes. "A man who never misses a shot, apparently. My boss told me that they are searching for him in all over the islands and they don't even know what this man looks like." He snorted at the end. The petite boy saw from the corner of his eyes at the other customer who placed a few coins and nods its head and left the restaurant.
The brunette boy pushed himself away from the counter, walked to the used empty glass and take the coins. He placed the coins in the register and grabbed the glass to clean from the sink behind him. After he finished washed the glass and dry it with a clean rag. Tsuna placed the glass of up back on the shelf and walked back to the mystery customer. He glanced at the whiskey that the customer has not to finish.
Before Tsuna could ask the mystery customer if he is interested in having snacks, a door opened and Tsuna frowned when he saw two Marines walked, soaked from the rain and dripping onto the ground. 'Great, now I have to clean it up.' He mused, annoyed.
"Yo, kid. We want sake." One of the marines ordered rudely as they went to sit on the stools two feet away from the mystery customer.
Tsuna mentally sighed. "Coming right up." He grabbed two glasses of cups, filled it with sake and pushed it to the customers. Then he walked in the backroom to grab a mop, left the room, walked around the counter bar and start cleaning the floor.
"How long do you think we'll be here at this boring town?" one of the marines, blonde-haired complained.
A black-haired marine shrugged his shoulders as he took a sip from a sake. "Boss said that we shouldn't give up until we capture this asshole."
"And why is this guy important?" the blonde-haired marine asked with a confused frown.
"Seriously?" the black-haired marine glared at his partner with annoyed. "I told you before. This man is a highly dangerous criminal. He's a hitman."
"But how are we going to find this guy? No one knows what he looks like."
The black-haired marine glanced around with cautiously then he leaned closer to the blonde-haired marine. "As a matter of fact, we got a new piece of information to find this guy." He whispered.
"What?"
Tsuna inwardly grimaced. 'They are terrible at whispering.' He mused, blankly. Then finished mop the floor walked around the counter and placed it back to the original spot in the back room. Tsuna grabbed a clean rag from the counter as he glanced around the customers and nod himself satisfied. 'I wonder when will the boss comes back?'
"A what?" a blonde-haired marine stared at the black-haired marine in disbelieved. "A pacifier? Why would a hitman have a ridiculous pacifier?" he snorted in incredulity.
The black-haired marine shrugged his shoulders as he is holding a glass of sake. "It's something." He took a sip.
"You gotta be shitting me, man." The blonde-haired marine elbowed his partner who accidentally slipped the sake onto the counter. The black-haired marine glared at the sheepishly blonde-haired marine.
Tsuna saw it and inwardly sighed. 'Great.' He mused, sarcasm. He walked to the marines and clean the spilled sake. "Sorry." The blonde-haired marine smiles apologetically.
"It's fine, sir." Tsuna said with a professional smile. He leaned forward to clean the rest of the sake while the marines leaned back away from the counter. A thin chain that wrapped around Tsuna's neck fell forward, a ring fly that caught a certain pair of eyes attention. The brunette boy grabbed his ring with his free hand and tuck inside his shirt carefully.
Tsuna finished cleaning the mess and walked to the backroom to dispose of the wet rag into the hamper and grabbed a clean dry rag. He returns to the counter and glanced at the mystery customer who finished drank the whiskey. "You like to refill it, sir?" he asked, calmly.
The mystery customer stared at Tsuna who started to fidget. "Sir?"
"What's your name." Tsuna raised his eyebrow at the customer who practically demands his name. However, he narrowed his eyes in suspicious. "Sawada, Tsunayoshi. Although, I preferred Tsuna."
A dark smirked appeared on the mystery man. Tsuna suddenly felt wary by this man as his gut is telling him to put his guard up. The man leaned forward before he slid the empty glass of cup away. He tilted his head up as his brim of fedora hat covered his eyes. "Tsuna." He purred which mad Tsuna shivered in fear. "To think I would find a Young Lion's cucciolo in this place." He whispered with interested.
Tsuna blinked then glared at the man with cautious and irritated. "Did you… did you just called me a cub?"
"Oh? You know Italian?" the mystery man smirked sharper. "Quanto sai dell'italiano?" [How much you know about Italian?]
"Abbastanza per sapere che non sei normale." [Enough to know you're not normal.] Tsuna replied, blurted as his caramel eyes stay on the mystery man in wariness. From the corner of his eyes, he could see two marines still chatting and drinking. At least there are marines in here in case this mystery man done something.
"I wouldn't put faith into marines." The man said softly.
"And why is that?" Tsuna frowned at him with confusion.
The mystery man lifted his head a bit that Tsuna's breathing hitched when he saw black onyx eyes filled with mischievous and sharpness edge. "Hanno ucciso tuo padre." [They killed your father.]
Tsuna's eyes widen in stunned. 'W-what?'
Who will it be for Tsuna to have a lover?
WHO and WHY?
