Okay guys so this is officially chapter one, there might be some spelling mistakes as I am slightly dyslexic but I hope it all makes sense in the end.

So for this chapter I thought I would take Rey back a few step seeing as in the stories not the movie it takes years to master the way of the jedi so I would to combine that knowledge with this story and see how it goes. That being said I appreciate you reviews on the Prologue and I hope this chapter meets you expectation.

Chapter 1

-x-

She was a thing of beauty,

The crescent light couldn't compare,

Her laughter delights butterflies,

Her eyes were like stars,

No, nothing could compare to her beauty,

The Queen of light.

The end always justifies the means.

That's what she was told over and over again, yet still, she couldn't seem to grasp it in the way her master expected her to.

He told her that everything one did, was ultimately the only thing that mattered was the final result. Though no matter how much she studied to gain knowledge of this answer, she was always wrong and it frustrated her to no end.

Especially with the little time she had.

Her breathing seemed harsh to her ears, and the thumping of her heart so powerful she believed it would explode within her chest, thanks to her damn emotions. Yet still, she meditated.

Attempting once more she tried to centre herself, to find the inner peace that her master had told her about. To be at one with the force. She needed to achieve this to find the answers she sought.

But again like always she was met by chaos and despair. Especially after that day.

Her brain was working fast, working over every strategy, every possible way to reach her goal of becoming some worthy. Still, her stomach was twisting itself into a knot of fear and terror. She honestly didn't know how to beat it and because of that, she felt so guilty.

Particularly after practically begging Master Luke to train her, promising that she was not like his last student and in many ways she wasn't. Instead, she was a failure, she was in no way in the same league as him, in fact, she was sure it was a fluke of her winning.

And the more she thought about it, the more disheartened she felt. People relied on her, yet she just couldn't do it and time was running out.

Who knew how long they could withstand.

She felt so pathetic and low. What right did, she have to play this role. To be the saviours in this war.

It was no use, she would never be able to connect to the force at this time. Opening her eyes, she saw her hand shaking and just like other times the rocks surrounding her were all broken in two.

Her angry and fear where just too powerful to control.

'Rey.' It was at that word, she appeared to stop breathing. Everything she was seemed to crease from existence and her mind to go in turmoil.

It was him.

He was the kind of man who held a grudge long past the time when everyone else would have given up and moved on.

Tightening her hand into fists, she swallowed back a lump that clogged her throat and breathed in hard.

Glancing up, she saw him standing there before her in his dark intruding form. His face unreadable thanks to that blasted mask. A mask that scared and intimidated her like no other.

Slowly she rose to her feet and she could do nothing but stare at him. He was, clothed once again in black, with a long flowing cloak fastened about his shoulders.

When he began to take slow, measured steps toward the table, her's body finally broke out of its trance. She tensed and stepped instinctively back. It was the most stupid thing she could have done, to show how he affected her, especially when he wasn't really here.

In response, he casually placed his right hand on the table's surface that was stationed to the side of him all the while his gaze still locked to her.

She needed to say something, she couldn't let him have all this power over her.

'What-t do you want?' Her voice was little more than a whisper.

Yet he didn't respond instead he just tilted his head her, causing her discomfort to escalate further. Her nails dug into her palms as she forced herself to remain stationary, as he once again moved slightly closer.

Her heart pulsed within her, as she gazed into his masked face.

'Where are you, my little savage?' He had that rich, silky tone that seemed to deepen from his mask. Almost enticing. She knew what he was trying to do.

'I'm nowhere you could find.' She bit out trying her best to appear confident and unafraid. When deep inside she was shaking like a leaf. She knew she had to break this link somehow but her mental shields were just too feeble.

'You can't hide from me forever.' He stated, before moving his hand to the hilt of his lightsaber though didn't draw the weapon. "I know you found Skywalker, it will only be a matter of time now until I find you."

He's crazy, she thought. He had to be insane.

'Though I don't understand.' He began slowly, she could feel trying to influence her with the force once more. 'Why you just don't come to me in your own free will and save us both the trouble.' He questioned and shook his head as if she were just a silly disobedient child.

'That will never happen.' She hissed in turn, it moment he moved so he was right in front of her causing her to tilt her head up to see his masked face.

She panicked as he bent down as if to whisper in her ear.

'I will find you.' He said just at the moment Master Luke called for her before disappearing.

She was weak, she was petrified. His words kept on running through her head.

She needed to become stronger.
