Hi, everyone! Shiningskies12 here! I know it's been a while since I've uploaded a story, but I've been having writers block lately. Please forgive me, and please rate and review. Also leave any suggestions below if you guys have any ideas on what could occur next! Okay then, let's start this upsetting story...
I-I can't control him anymore…I mumbled to Leo, and my body shut down. I shut my eyes, and I let myself collapse to the ground. Chase! Leo shouted as he went over to me, but he was still talking to Mr. Davenport through the com set. After a while, Mr. Davenport was on the ground since Principal Perry broke his fall, but what we were worried about was Chase. He was still unconscious after he had glitched, and we didn't know what to do. Adam's heat vision was still acting up, Bree was still having problems with her speed, and Chase was still unconscious since he had used his molecular kenesis earlier.
A few days later…Medical Room
Bree and Adam looked at their baby brother through the observational glass, and they felt horrible. All their glitches had been fixed, but Chase was still unconscious. I can't believe Chase used his molecular kenesis even when he felt like he was going to glitch. It was too much on his bionic chip, and Mr. Davenport told us that Chase fried it. He made a new one, and Chase has it in his neck now, but it's frustrating just waiting for him to wake up! Bree cried, and we didn't know what to say to cheer our sister up. Bree, I'm sure Chase will wake up. He wouldn't abandon us, would he? I told her, but she refused to listen.
Right when Bree said that, Chase's heartbeat flatlined. CHASE! We all cried as Mr. Davenport came in with defibrillators, and his assistant took Chase's shirt off. They told us to leave, and we didn't want to. They stuck the sticky part of the pads on Chase's chest, and we saw his limp body jolt up. He still wasn't responsive, and we didn't know what to think. CLEAR! We heard Mr. Davenport shout with an upset tone in his voice, but Chase wasn't showing any response to being alive. NO! WE CAN'T LOSE YOU, CHASE! YOU'RE TOO YOUNG! We shouted as tears ran down our faces, and it was true. Chase had just turned 16 just two months ago, and we weren't going to lose him so easily.
Mr. Davenport put an oxygen mask over Chase's nose and mouth, and his assistant pressed the button for the defibrillators again. Chase's body jolted up again, but there was still no response. COME ON, CHASE! We heard both the assistant and Mr. Davenport shout with an upset tone in their voices, and we weren't even sure what to say since we wanted Chase to be alright. CLEAR AGAIN! The assistant shouted, and we decided to leave the room since we couldn't stand seeing Chase be in so much pain.
