Chapter 7 (Aquil)

At the office, sun was up high of the bright sky. Flowers are blooming on the green fields of magical forest. Everything was so bright, so good and delightful. It was a memorable day for him of the first day of summer in the kingdom. Breath in... Breath out... Before he was going to the door to have a cup of his favorite jasmine tea.

"Your Majesty." Ian was astonished. Larissa barged in, exhaustion see in her face. Her hair were going in every direction.

"Larissa, what brings you here. Is there something wrong? You seem to be in rush."

Larissa sighed, "Your Majesty, Sofia has given birth!"

Ian started to panic and walk out to Sofia's room. As he went inside, a crying child filled the room. He never felt so happy like this before, he's truly a father. A maiden handed the child to him. His child is so precious, he's little baby prince. He got the hair of his mother and the fair skin. He has the silver eyes of his father.

Larissa walk towards from him. "Your Majesty, I don't want to interrupt you but the queen is not waking up"

Ian look to Sofia, sleeping on her bed. He walk towards to her, "What happen?"

"Your Majesty, the queen had lost so many blood because she's in labor. We are finding a way to wake her up, she will be in danger or much worse." said the birth niymph

Ian's smile turn to frown. He need to find a way to get Sofia back again. "Then what are you doing? Why are you just standing there, do something!" Ian started to yell to the nymph

He went beside Sofia, still unconscious. "Sofia, please wake up. Our child is here, he's waiting for his mother. We're waiting for you. Please... please... Sofia..."

Sofia's POV

"How are you feeling, dear?"

I hear a voice, someone was calling me, I start to open my eyes. It was Mom, she was sitting beside, looking at me. I tried to sit up straight.

"Be careful, might still your weak so try to be comfortable."

"Mom? Why are you here?"

I look around my room. I saw that Amber is with her. It was raining outside, it was already night. Amber walked around sit beside, holding my cold hands.

"Your resting for a week after you give birth to your son, Sofia"

"I was?" That makes me remember that I was in pain at that time. I was screaming, both maidens were holding both of my hands since Ian wasn't there because he went to the village with Larissa. As my baby was given to me of one of the maidens, I had a short time to hold him around my arms. My eyes turn to shut off, I never get to wake up.

"But glad that your fine now."

"Thank you Amber, I'm glad that you and Mom visit here. I missed you both so much."

We shared a warm hug together under the cold wind of my room. And then, the door turn to open. There's a lady wore a dark ivory coat, then she walk near to us. She let her face reveal to us from her hood. Redhead hair, those eyes, why is she here? "Cynthia"

"She is with us, It was supposed to be Calista but she's not feeling well after she make a potion to cure all the sick people in the kingdom. Cedric, well Cynthia told us that he has so much important things to do."

Important things to do and this isn't important? But, I think it was right he didn't come, I finally forget him. I don't want to see those hazel eyes, his pointy nose, his soft li-... wait what? Why did I say those things? But I know to my self, I don't want to see him, to hear his voice or even all about him, anymore.

"How are you feeling, Sofia?"

"I'm fine. I felt hungry and a bit weak but I'm fine."

"That's normal because your here in your bed sleeping a whole week. Later, I'll give you a potion that can restore your strength back."

"Thanks Cynthia"

"Your Welcome, I'm glad to help you"

The door opened once more. Ian was there, holding our baby. "Sofia... Your awake!"

He walked up towards to me. He hold my hands, tears were falling from his silver eyes. "I'm so happy that your already awake, I don't know what I can do without you."

"We need to go now Sofia. We'll be here later, rest well'

Mom, Amber and Cynthia went out the room and leave us alone. Ian kissed my forehead and he put our baby on my arms. My little prince was sleeping, my tears falls from my eyes of so much happiness.

"He's so beautiful"

"Yes he is"

"Did you gave him a name?"

"Well I have but if you want to change it, it's fine with me."

"What name did you gave to him?"

"Aquil"

"Aquil?"

"I was thinking to name him, Aquil. My father wants to name me that but mother wants to name me Ian because I looked like my uncle. Also, I read some books about that name, It was named to one of my ancestor who was one to built this kingdom"

"That's nice to hear about the name. I know he will be a wonderful child. Aquil, hope you'll be kind, loving and adventurous child. I want you to see the wonders of the place you'll live in and be happy "

I hold my little sleeping baby prince so tight around my hands. Ian hugged me and kissed my forehead once more. I have my own life and family now. I'll be a loving mother for my child. I'll protect him from anyone who'll harm him. I want to see him grow up happy.

"Mother"

"Yes"

"What is magic? I read it one of the books at the library."

Aquil always read books at the library and he loves it. He was like his father that loves to seek knowledge through books. After 10 years, he was much more like his faher at the young age. His things are well-organized at each places of his room. He's really neat and yet a bit/little sophisticated in every things he do. He's also a loving and caring prince. Each day he wakes, he always greet ever people in the castle. Just like her mother, he had animal friends of his own and sometimes goes outside to play with them. Since, his mother gave the amulet to him, he had the power to talk to animals. Ian and Sofia wasn't suprised with it since their circlets able them to talk to animals as well.

At his room, it was middle of the day, Sofia and Aquil were together. "Magic, well is one of amazing things that came in my life. Magic is not about potions, spells, wizards, sorcerers and magical creatures but it's about how you used it, to expressed it by your body, mind, heart and soul."

Aquil smiled as his mother tell him all about magic. It felt him so much things to know much more about it. "Mother, you said that Magic is one of the amazing things. Did you do magic? Had you hold a wand? I've read also books about sorcerers. They are so awesome! I read that they do great spells and potions. Did you see a sorcerer before? I want to see one!"

Sofia giggled, "Slow down, Aquil. Just one question at the time. I can't answer them all at once."

She found that he get to be interested at magic like her as well, she never know that he'll be interested to that. She wouldn't be surprised since this kingdom was full of magical creatures and things as well. But, she can't even say any words to tell him, her heart and brain were mixing with just one word. Magic

"Uhmm.. Yes, I had seen a sorcerer before. I had a wand which is I learned at Royal Prep."

"You do? That's great! Wait, you didn't answer my other question."

"What question?"

"Did you do magic? You said that you learned to hold a wand before?"

"Yes."

Aquil get to smiled bigger, he was so happy. "Can you teach me? Please mother, I want to learn magic. I want to hold a wand like you learned. Please...?"

"Alright then, I'll teach you. But, I'm not promising that I can always teach you since I had also duties to do."

"Thanks Mother" Aquil hugged his mother. He hold her so tight, he was so happy that he'll learn magic.

"Your Majesty"

"Yes"

Both royals stood as Larissa enters the room. She was holding a list. "Apologize to interrupt but, My Queen, these are the list of traits you need to sign since the King wasn't in his office."

"Okay, I'll sign it"

Sofia looked at her son. She lowered down, holding his hand "I need to go now, tomorrow I'll start to teach you. See you later at dinner"

She kissed his forehead, his little nose and touch her nose to his. It makes her son giggle to it. Sofia started to left the room to her office.

"Larissa"

The lady steward was about to leave when the young prince grab her hand. "Oh, Your Majesty"

"Mother said she will teach me about magic! Isn't it amazing?"

Larissa found herself in her devilish smile, "That's a great news, Prince Aquil. Just let your mother teach you and I'll tell you about the thing you want to know."

"Thanks Larissa! I can't wait for it!"

Larissa went out with a smile, leaving the joyful prince in his room.

"This is such a wonderful day for me. All are going exact to my plan. This little prince was such a foolish, just wait when I get to important thing I need to him. I'll watch how they play to this game. This would be such exciting for me to watch the next things to happens"
