While starring on the show, she starred in her first motion picture The Great Divide. She received her first nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

She came out five years ago when she announced her relationship with Rachel Berry by attending the Academy Awards with Ms. Berry as her date. The two broke-up two years after that, and as far as anyone can tell wish each other well but haven't maintained any contact.

Rachel has had a few relationships since, but nothing lasting longer than a few months. For the last year, she has remained single and focused more on her career. She has opted to stay out of the spotlight and spends more of her time back in New York. Rumors had surfaced she was in the studio working on her second album, but we will have to wait and see.
