Where's Helga? The Disappearance Of Helga

Helga checks her watch, "Hey, I've gotta get home before Bob throws another fit."

Phoebe sighed and grabbed her backpack. "Are you sure you're okay walking home alone? I've heard on the news that more people are coming up missing in Hillwood lately."

Helga chuckled and rolled her eyes at her friend. "Wow. You actually believe that junk? This is why I don't watch the news. And also, I'm not a baby. I know how to get home by myself, doi! However, thanks for the offer...I guess..."

Phoebe smiled and nodded. "Okay. Call me if something DOES happen to come up."

Helga simply sighed. "Whatever Pheebs. I'll see you later."

She waved goodbye and left out of the coffee shop.

The next morning, Phoebe went up to Helga's house and knocked on the door. Miriam, to her surprise, actually got up to answer the door. Not only was that surprising, she had a worried look on her face.

"Oh dear God! Phoebe! Is she with you?!"

Phoebe raised an eyebrow. "Is who with me?!"

"Helga! My little girl!"

Phoebe shook her head and became concerned. "No...I thought she was here with you and Bob."

She shook her head. "No, because Helga didn't come home last night!"

Phoebe gasped. "What do you mean she never came home?!"

Miriam motioned for her to come inside and shut the door behind her. She led her up to Helga's room and opened the door. Phoebe's eyes widened when she found the sight of her friend's bed being empty. Miriam ran her hand through her hair.

"She never came home because I never heard a knock or the doorbell ring. And her room looks exactly the way that she left it before she went to school with you yesterday morning."

"Well, did you even think to call the police?!" Phoebe asked.

Miriam sighed, becoming even more stressed by the minute since her daughter was gone.

"No because I thought she was with you!"

"I'm deeply sorry Mrs. Pataki but she wasn't with me last night. You should call the police."

Miriam nodded. "Right."

Helga's mother dialed the police, not so eager to talk, and the phone was shaking in her hands. Phoebe had to admit, she'd never seen her look so worried about Helga before. Although, of course it made sense because no mother would like to wake up to their child gone missing. Phoebe certainly couldn't believe her friend was gone. She personally didn't expect to wake up to it as well. Another concern she had was how everyone was going to react to it. Starting with her father Bob...and ending with...Arnold. How would he react to it? She would have to wait and find out.

How will everyone react to Helga's absence?

Stay tuned to find out! And I don't own HA!

Sorry for not uploading in a while. I've had horrible writer's block lately. Please bear with me guys...Thank you. :) Enjoy winter break.
