Don't own Big Bang Theory. Something is different.

When Leonard woke up this morning every thing seemed off, but he wasn't sure what it was. He got up and went out into his house, something was defiantly wrong. He picked up his paper and started to read but he still couldn't shake that something was terribly wrong. So he picked up his phone and called his boss. Instead a nice Midwestern voice sounded in his ear.

"Hello Dr. Hofstadter? What can I do for you?"

Leonard chortled, "Oh hi Penny, is Sheldon there?"

Penny was confused, why was Leonard calling, "Yeah."

She turned, "Hey Moonpie…"

Leonard smiled, Sheldon didn't like that. He blinked, didn't he? The scientist looked at his phone, why did he call his boss. But he had called him, why not Barry or Alan. He swallowed as a voice come back on the line.

"He will be a second Leonard."

Leonard realized he had an odd feeling, something about Penny. It was weird, she was his bosses wife. So why was he feeling odd about her, Leonard was a little frustrated because his genius mind couldn't figure out why. Then a vacant male voice come on the line.

"Leonard, this is unexpected. What couldn't wait until we were at work, that is the time for work."

Leonard shook his head, "I don't know…"

A sigh, "Well if you don't know, why are you bothering me?"

"It seemed the thing to do…I guess?" Leonard was really grasping at straws, he was in a conversation with his boss for unknown reasons.

"It seemed the thing to do?" Sheldon sounded exasperated, "Pull your self together…preferably before you get to work. I can't have one of my employees going on the fritz…"

"Yeah." Leonard sighed, "Sorry to bother you."

Leonard hung up and set the phone down, he looked around at his house. Something wasn't right, something was off but he couldn't put his finger on it. With a resigned sigh he got up and continued getting ready. It was still bugging him when he finally pulled into his spot at the Cal-Tech, he looked at his spot and felt odd. This was getting annoying and he had a full day today. He walked in when Amy walked up to him with a big smile. She come up and hug him, which sort of startled Leonard be fore he hugged he back. But Amy quickly withdrew and held him at length, a concerned look on her face.

"Leonard what is it?"

Leonard shook his head, "No, its nothing…I think?"

Amy was not convinced but smiled, "Ok? We are still on for tonight."

Leonard was for a moment confused, "Yeah…yeah, we are still good to go."

"Ok."

Amy gave him one last look before walking off, Leonard knew he would likely have to talk to his girlfriend about his casual rejection. But for the life of him he couldn't figure out why, they had been dating for like three years. Leonard shook his head and sighed, this was going to be a long day and he wasn't happy about it.

He walked down to his office, and sat down. Leonard just sat and pondered, looking at his plague on the door and wondered why it looked odd. He got up from his chair and walked over to it, standing in the hall.

"Out of the way Dumbass."

Leslie veered around him, Leonard quickly responded, "I'm not Sheldon."

Leslie stopped as Leonard wondered why he said that, the brunette woman turned and looked at Leonard. She walked up to him, and Leonard reflexively stepped back.

"I am aware I am not Sheldon." Leslie snorted, "But of course you thinking I would confuse you two is par for the course."

Leonard shook his head, "I honestly don't know why I said that."

"Well, there is a big surprise." With that Leslie walked off.

Leonard let out a breathe he was holding, and shook his head. Dr. Winkle always had it out for him, not to mention she was always talking up Sheldon. One of his favorite scientists, so why did he think she would call Sheldon Dr. Dumbass. Then Leonard groaned, she was going to tell Sheldon, though he might just brush it off. Today was just becoming a bomb, and Leonard didn't know why.

It was still bugging him when he sat down for lunch, then he looked up to see Dr. Koothrappali and Mr. Wolowitz looking at him strangely. Leonard was confused some more, why would he. He looked across the way and saw Barry and Alan looking at him weirdly.

"Dude, what are you doing?"

Leonard turned back to face the other two at the table, "I don't know."

"Well we can't help you."

"Yeah?"

Leonard got up and moved over to Barry and Alan, Leonard sat down and just looked at his food. Trying to process what was going on today. Something was wrong, but nothing was wrong, he looked at his friends and found himself also glancing at the other table. He blinked, what was wrong with him.

"Well, I seem to be having a odd day."

In fact the rest of the day was odd as well, little things here and there. Familiar faces but also not so much. So his day went by and Leonard still couldn't figure out what happened today, the only thing he could think of was it was off. But nothing was wrong at the same time. It was some confusing for him he decided to turn in early when his phone buzzed.

AMY: Where Are You?

So, yeah.
