AN: Okay, this was inspired by a couple of supposedly true stories on Reddit. (r/entitled parents I think?)
"Excuse me, can you please stop doing that?"
Cornelia frowned as she turned to look at the woman sitting behind them with a little black haired girl of seven. The woman looked disapprovingly at them both.
"Pardon?"
"Can you please stop doing that?" the woman said again with a gesture towards Cornelia and Irma. "Are you slow or something. I don't want my daughter seeing your unnatural behaviour."
Cornelia scowled at the woman, who simply looked expectantly at the two of them.
"What unnatural behaviour?" Cornelia asked, her voice hardening. The woman sighed and rolled her eyes.
"THAT unnatural behaviour," she huffed, pointing at their hands. "Holding hands like that where CHILDREN can see!"
Her daughter's eyes were focused on the screen, oohing and ahing at the trailer for another animated film and completely ignoring them.
"Oh so this is the problem?" Irma asked, holding up their hands with a smirk. The woman huffed. "I'm so sorry about that. I didn't realise."
"Yes. FINALLY, someone who understands," she said and Irma smirked even harder. She leaned forward and kissed Cornelia deeply. The woman gasped.
"Is that better?" Irma asked with a smirk as the woman looked scandalised at them both.
"That-that-that-"
"You really shouldn't be lecturing people about unnatural in public," Cornelia said, cutting her off. "Especially in a cinema and wearing THAT outfit."
The woman looked down at her outfit, a pink blouse with a knee length red skirt
"What's wrong with my outfit?" the woman demanded and Cornelia rolled her eyes.
"If you need to ask that, you wouldn't understand the answer," Cornelia replied sarcastically, before kissing Irma. With a huff, the woman grabbed her daughter by the hand and stormed off.
"Damn girl, that was savage," Irma said with a look of approval. Cornelia smiled at her girlfriend.
"And you were awesome," she said and the two kissed once more.
