It was 11:15 p.m. in California, the rain dripped everywhere and people had to protect themselves with their umbrellas. The streets, sidewalks, cars and everything else were being soaked in the rain and people who were outside could easily do their things by having their umbrellas.

Among people, one in particular was characterized by having a completely empty and emotionless aura, people were limited to seeing it and that caused the individual to take care of others, which could easily. The individual entered a restaurant that was still open and upon entering, he kept his umbrella and sat at a table for a loner, a waiter observed the individual and approached him to give him his order.

Waiter: "Good evening to The Great Greek, may I give your order?"

The waiter observed that the individual was a young in his 15s with a blue sweatshirt that was covering the back of his head and because of his expression he did not seem to be in a good mood. The young watched the waiter and a slight sigh came from him.

"Just a hamburger and a soda" –he said in a slow voice.

The waiter made no claim after the young's attitude and immediately went to the kitchen. The young put his face on the table while remembering something, a thought that made him growl and in turn, reflect.

-Retrospective scene-

It was 2:30 p.m. and Brian along with his brother Timmy were walking home, Timmy was totally excited because, well, he was like that and Brian was the opposite, he was not in a bad mood, it was simply his personality to remain silent.

Timmy: "I tell you, Brian, the teacher gave us all of my class excellent grade after the project we did" –he told his older brother.

Brian could only hear him, but he didn't want to talk to him, a sigh was an answer for his brother and he stepped forward even more than Timmy.

Timmy: "You know, I start to believe that your personality is like that because you have nothing in a good mood" –he said.

Brian: "Timmy, silence" –he said without looking at him.

Timmy remained silent and they both came to their house and watched their mother who was cleaning the house. Their mother, whose name was Maria, observed her children who had arrived from school.

Maria: "Children, clean everything that lunch will be ready" –she said.

Timmy climbed the stairs first while Brian walked slowly toward the stairs and entered his room. More trade of it, Brian and Timmy went to the kitchen and ate their mother's lunch.

Timmy: "The lunch is very good, don't you think, Brian?"

Brian had not answered his brother and began to play with the spoon and his mother noticed that and began to reflect on her son's attitude. After lunch, Maria grabbed the plates and put them in the kitchen and watched Brian who was about to go to his room.

Maria: "Brian, I want to talk to you" –she said.

She heard a sigh from her son, indicating that he had heard her and she went straight to her son who was sitting on the couch. Maria began inspecting her son who had his hands in his sweatshirt pocket and a bored expression, which was the main issue.

Maria: "Brian, is something wrong with you?"

Brian raised an eyebrow after hearing his mother's question, he was not a fool and assumed that his mother was hospitalizing him, something like psychology in hospitals.

Brian: "No, mom, I'm fine" –he said to his mother without looking at her.

Maria: "Well, that's what you say, but your personality says the opposite" –she said.

Brian: "My personality is as always, mom"

Maria: "Oh, bone of a boy with low self-esteem and who is hidden from the outside world" –she said a little mockingly.

Brian under his eyebrows and moved his eyes to observe his mother who looked at him with a warm smile, obviously she wanted to help him, but he didn't want anyone's help.

Brian: "I wouldn't call it that"

Maria: "Brian, your dad and I have thought that something is happening to you" –she said as she touched him on his shoulder.

Brian turned his head to observe his mother, clearly he already knew where all this conversation was going to come from and he had to stop it.

Brian: "Mom, no, I'm fine, my life is fine, I don't need anything and nobody" –he said as he rose from the couch.

Maria looked into the eyes of her son who had an annoyed expression, she just calmed down so she could talk to her son.

Maria: "Brian, son, I just want you to understand that your dad and I care about you, you care about me"

Brian shook his head as he listened to his mother, the part that they cared about him no longer saw him, they were, from his perspective, further away from him since the age of 12 and since then he opted with a personality which he got used to since then.

Brian: "Import? Yes, of course, you guys didn't say that during what happened in the museum, or am I wrong?" –He told his mother, in defiant tone.

Maria opened her mouth so she could protest, but she knew what her son was referring to and closed her mouth.

Maria: "Brian, that day your dad and I were very busy and that's why ..."

Brian: "No, mom, exactly you didn't do it because of the fact that you didn't care and I don't even want to talk about my dad, that he's less than I want to hear" –he told his mom.

Maria stared at him for a few seconds and then watched him go to the stairs, Brian locked himself in his room and threw himself sharply toward his bed while breathing heavily and watching the ceiling.

Brian: "As if they really care about me, I have that very clear" –he said.

At that moment, an idea came to the boy from the museum, an idea that could change his life, although that mattered less.

Brian: "I can no longer live in a house with parents who do not even know what happens to me" –he said as he went to his closet.

Throughout the afternoon, Brian was covering up some things necessary to be able to leave his house, he grabbed some clothes, a holster, some necessary things and money he had saved for a long time and he hope it is night. At that moment, he managed to hear the voice of his father, Jim, who was knocking on his bedroom door.

Jim: "Son, son, are you awake?" –Said at the door.

Brian remained silent for a few seconds and then his dad left, making him think he was sleeping.

Brian: "Perfect, just wait a little longer," he said to himself.

After 10:00 p.m. and for his parents to get into their room, Brian slowly opened the door, causing the latter to make a high-pitched squeak through Brian opening it and closing it slowly so he could head for the living room. It wasn't a great choice for a young in blue sweatshirt, but he had to, but not before leaving a letter in his brother's room, at least he could understand him.

Brian: "Well, it's time to go" –he said to himself.

Brian went to the front door and grabbed the handle and opened the door so he could get out and then close it, giving his way out and going to a place where the wind would take him.

Brian: "Sorry, mom and dad, but I have to do it" –he said as he walked toward the unknown.

-End of the Retrospective Scene-

Brian stared at the table as he thought about himself what he had done, it was not an excellent idea, but he had to. At that moment, the waiter came with the hamburger and the soda and Brian paid for it so that the waiter did not come.

Waiter: "Enjoy your order"

Brian didn't say a word, which made the waiter go a little surprised at it. The boy from the museum took a small bite of his hamburger while watching the raindrops he soaked in the restaurant's windows. After that, Brian took his soda and put away his hamburger as he left the restaurant and held his umbrella to keep walking.

Brian: "And now, what do I have to do?" –He said to himself.

After walking for a few blocks, Brian noticed that a poster was attached to a job that requested young people and paid good money. At first Brian doubted it, but he thought that the money he had was not going to last and he had no choice but to grab the poster and take it away.

Brian: "Let's wait for it to be a good job" –he said to himself as he continued walking.

Here you have this first chapter, if you like, comment and for one more fact. By the way, if you have read my fanfic "Overwatch: You are a hero" you can consider this story as the original idea of the aforementioned fanfic, there will be elements of my fanfic in this new one, but it will take a different course. Also, the trilogy "Heroic Act" is a prequel to this new story.
