Explosive Question

After class, Sato Kazuma was getting ready to leave before he felt a hand tug onto his shirt. When he turned around, he saw the hand's owner, Megumin, looking at him. He couldn't read the look on her face, but didn't sense anything suspicious coming from that look.

"Uh…hey Megumin. Can I help you with something?" Kazuma asked politely even though he was a little annoyed that he couldn't go home.

"Yeah…" Megumin mumbled out, with her eyes looking in all different directions despite her still holding on to Kazuma's arm.

"And…what do you need?" Kazuma asked.

"Oh…well…you…heard about…the dance, right?" Megumin asked nervously, shaking and squirming around, which due to his annoyance, Kazuma did not notice.

"Yeah, and I wasn't really planning on going. Why?" Kazuma asked back. Megumin breathed in and out a couple of times, before looking at Kazuma right in his eyes.

"I…have something to show you. It's important, and I need to show you outside right now!" Megumin exclaimed, her voice getting louder as she got further into her sentence. Kazuma looked at her for a few seconds before shrugging.

"Sure, let's go outside you can show me," Kazuma responded, not looking very interested, rather focusing on getting this over with as quickly as he could so that he could go back home. Megumin, who was so excited that she didn't hear Kazuma's disinterested voice, led him to the field on the outside, also not noticing other students such as Tanya, Lord Ains, Subaru, and their friends.

"OK, so what is it, because all I see is an empty field," Kazuma asked before he noticed Megumin loading up an explosion spell. Kazuma, while a chill raced through his spine, looked for a place to hide. Megumin prepared to launch her explosion, which Kazuma responds to by panicking and put himself into a fetal position.

The explosion Megumin released was a lot bigger than many of the previous explosions that Kazuma had seen Megumin unleash in the past. Trees around the school became uprooted, the ground was full of cracks, and the smell of smoke and sulfur were in the air. When Kazuma opened his eyes, he saw Megumin face first on the ground like she usually was after an explosion spell, but when he looked on the ground, he saw a message that was made by the explosion.

"Will you go to the dance with me?" Kazuma read aloud, before looking back up at Megumin who despite being face down on the ground, was looking at him with expectance in her eyes, waiting with baited breath for his answer.

"Awww…that was really sweet. A little messed up, but sweet. Sure I'll go to the dance, Megumin," Kazuma responded, causing Megumin to smile weakily before giving him a thumbs up.

"Awesome…" Megumin mumbled before fainting from lack of energy. Kazuma picked her up in a piggyback position to take her to the nurse's office, before seeing Aqua shake his head at him.

"Loli-NEET," Aqua said, looking at him the way that a mother would look at a child who had broken something in the house.

"Hey! It's just a dance! It's not like we're going to have sex!" Kazuma exclaimed, before leaving Aqua's field of vision and continuing his way to the nurse's office. While he was walking away, he felt something soft on his left cheek for a total of three seconds. He turned his eyes, and saw Megumin blush slightly and look away from Kazuma. Kazuma gave a small smile before turning back to his front and heading inside the school.
