"I Love You."

"I love you." That statement still sent a thousand shivers down Elsa's spine. For thirteen years, Elsa had shut Anna out of her life, causing immeasurable pain and misery. Yet, Anna still loved her with every beat of her heart. The fact that she sacrificed herself told Elsa everything she needed to know about Anna. A love that pure is truly rare. And to have her sister giving her that love was incredible beyond words. As she sat in the courtyard watching the birds take a drink from the fountain, Anna's words came back to her. "I love you." It was just as simple statement, but hearing it from Anna gave it such a special meaning. Elsa was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't notice Anna approach her.

"Hi, Elsa!"

"Oh, Anna! Hello. How are you?" Elsa asked.

"Doing great! Olaf and I just got back from picking flowers."

"That's nice. Would you care to join me?" Elsa said.

"Of course!"

Anna took a seat beside Elsa. Just having her sister sit next to her made Elsa happy. And she knew that Anna felt the same way.

"Hey, Anna," Elsa started to speak.

"Yes, Elsa."

"Can I tell you something?"

"Sure. You can tell me anything you like."

"I just wanted to say that I love you," Elsa said.

"Aw, I love you too, Elsa. Thank you," Anna replied with a smile on her face.

Such a simple statement, yet so meaningful.

A/N: This is the shortest oneshot I've ever written. I hadn't posted anything in a while, so I thought I'd give you guys something. I should have the next chapter of "One Year of Love" up soon.
