The sky was dark. Heavy patters of the rain slowly drench the city. A squeaky step of a rubber shoe was taken on the pavement, and every one of it was heavy, due to the rainwater soaking Eijirou Kirishima's body.
The redhead breathed, his breath making a cool haze in the atmosphere. He threw his head back. He felt the water splashing on his face, but he didn't mind. He liked the rain, to be honest.
His eyes widened, however, when he saw a red umbrella in front of him. Turning to his left, he saw none other his friend, Katsuki Bakugo, placing it on his head. He grinned like a shark and greeted him cheerfully, "Hey, Bakugo!"
Katsuki grumbled. He clenched his fists and spun his head to his right, glaring at Eijirou like a pissed teacher. "The hell do you think you're doing, shitty hair?!"
"Huh?" Eijirou blinked. He placed a hand on his chin, pondering about the loud mouth's question. He sighed. "Well," He ran a hand through his spiky, red hair. "What does it look like? I'm enjoying the rain!"
"You stupid, little—ugh!" Katsuki yelled, gritting his teeth. If he tried to move then he might get soaked as well. He took a deep breath, calming himself. "The hell, you idiot. You'll catch a cold if you fucking stay in the rain like that."
"Aww, come on, Bakugo! I like the—" Eijirou cooed. He tried placing his arm around Katsuki's shoulders, but the blond used his hand free hand to create explosions, prompting Eijirou to back off. "—rain…"
"Shut it, shitty hair!" Katsuki shouted, stopping him. Eijirou tried to close his mouth, not knowing what else to say. Did he do something wrong? He had never seen Katsuki this seriously angry.
Sure, the guy was always irked, but there was something different about it today. He didn't know what it was, and he couldn't put a finger on it. He nibbled his bottom lip.
"Geez, man, what has gotten into you?"
"You stupid," Katsuki pouted, turning his face away from the redhead. He focused it on the fountain in front of him. His cheeks flushed, just by thinking about his next words. "If you catch a cold, then go fuck yourself."
Eijirou tried to reply, but his mouth remained open. Was this...was this Katsuki's way of telling that he cared about him? Come to think of it, it seemed like that was what he was trying to say. He closed his mouth, chuckling. Who knew that Katsuki had a soft spot for him?
"SHUT IT, SHITTY HAIR!" Katsuki howled, a vein popping in his head. He growled like an angry dog. He knew Eijirou found out why he was so pissed, and he guessed he had no choice, didn't he?
It didn't surprise Katsuki when Eijirou laughed like the idiot he was. As he was to say another one of his cheeky, charming replies, Katsuki handed him the umbrella. Eijirou tilted his head at this but stopped when Katsuki handed him his jacket. He stared at it.
"Wear this," Katsuki muttered, grabbing the umbrella from him, their fingers brushed against each other, sending sparks between them. He gulped, swallowing the lump in his throat. "NOW HURRY UP BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND!"
"Alright, alright," Eijirou immediately removed his shirt, and Katsuki's face couldn't help but blush. Why the fuck is that guy undressing in front of him?! He opted to avert his eyes from Eijirou but later took a glance just to see if he was finished.
To his relief, he was and he couldn't help but notice how his jacket and hoodie perfectly fit the redhead. His lips smiled softly at this. It was only a bonus that his jacket fitted Eijirou perfectly. What matters is that he wouldn't catch a cold.
"Hey, Bakugo, are you okay?"
Katsuki blinked, his peaceful face was suddenly replaced by his annoyed one. "Yeah, why?"
"N-Nothing," Eijirou chuckled. He thought he saw him smiling sincerely. Oh well, it must be his imagination… "Let's go to a café and buy some coffee. It's freezing out here."
Katsuki closed his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, whatever, shitty hair."
