[AN:] Because Raven trying to indulge herself in Beast Boy's hobby makes for a good last minute drabble in general.
"So...you turn the controller like this?"
"Almost, you just gotta move it a little to the...Yeah, there you go!"
Raven curved her eyebrows in slight confusion. What was so fun about a fighting game when they're both heroes themselves?
She looked at the other teen and saw that he was already selecting his character, an anthropomorphic surfer.
Typical.
The purple-haired heroine decided to randomly choose a character, responding, "Let's just get this over wit—Who...is...that...?"
Raven hovered over a sorceress that was dressed in beautiful violet.
"Her? Oh, that's Astarte, some goth witch," Beast Boy said as he pulled around the joystick of Raven's controller, "you're a beginner though, so you should choose anoth—"
"I'm choosing her."
Raven selected her character, the round's stage (a school's auditorium,) and the level (medium) in the blink of an eye as Beast Boy turned his head in confusion.
"Raven, bro, that quickly?"
"The round's beginning, Beast Boy, prepare yourself."
Beast Boy playfully scoffed. "I see I've rubbed off on you, Rav! Let the games begin!"
...
...
...
"...There. That was fun. Now I'm off to my room."
Raven got off the couch and walked away. Beast Boy just sat there, his mouth agape.
"She won 19 times?!"
Definitely one of my most favorite double drabbles I've done. BBRAE 4 life, y'all.
(PS: The game was originally straight up Street Fighter but I changed it to some random game. Take a guess at which Street Fighter was originally the "Astarte" that catches Raven's eyes.)
