I posted this on Tumblr, but thought those followers here deserved to know as well.

I've gotten some feedback that it just isn't up to the standard of Red Dirt Road, and after thinking about it, I have to agree. Therefore, I will be deleting the story while I rewrite it.

I'm sorry to those who are following it. It just isn't good enough as a sequel. The characterisations are off kilter and I don't want a shitty follow-up to tarnish these versions of Richonne I have created.

I'm trying to take on constructive criticisms seriously this year (it's a self-development thing). And it's true that criticism rings out louder than praise. But I don't want to have a story attached to my name that misses the mark; where the charactisations are off.

I don't want a story out there where the readers say they're disappointed when they read it. As a writer, that's the worst thing I could hear. Readers expect better, and it means I didn't deliver. I want to deliver. I need time to read over it and rethink what I've done with it.

I am sorry to those who are enjoying it. I just can't ignore the flaws that were pointed out.

Also, I'll leave it up over the weekend so people can download it if they like; but I'm still pulling it so I can rework it.

Thanks for understanding and for the support. This is something I need to do.
