Roman Torchwick was in the warehouse district of Vale, eyeing a particular warehouse through a spyglass. Only a few guards - easy pickings. Hearing a familiar set of footsteps approaching, he smiled and turned to face his companion.

"Well, Neo," he said, "in just a few minutes we, ah..." As he finally turned enough to actually see his cohort, he trailed off. "Neo, what is that?" The ice cream-colored girl was carrying not her usual combat-umbrella, but what appeared to be a cane with a bulb on the end. She lifted the cane up, and gave the bulb a squeeze; it made a honking sound. Roman's visible eye visibly twitched.

"Neo," he said, trying to keep his voice down, "where is your umbrella?" Neo just cocked her head to one side. "The one you carry with you almost everywhere? The one with the built-in sword?" The girl straightened her head, but gave no other response. Roman Torchwick slumped against a wall and sighed, all in a (somewhat overly) dramatic manner.

"Neo, in the time I've known you, I've seen you do some strange things. This is the strangest thing I've ever seen from you, and I don't mean that in a good way." He looked over at her; she was now standing next to him. Feeling a weight in his hand, he looked down. Neo had lifted her leg and put it his hand, so that he was now holding her leg up. "Will you cut that out?!" he half-shouted, half-hissed, shoving the leg away. Roman closed his eye (or was it eyes?) and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Neo Marx," he said, trying very hard to not raise his voice. "If you don't cease this buffoonery this instant, then I...will..." Roman had opened his eyes (or was it eye?) and once more trailed off at what he saw. Neo had walked a few steps away and was now standing in a very casual manner. She was leaning against a warehouse, right arm straight out and palm flat against the wall.

"What do you think you're doing?" he asked, gesturing at her. "Holding up the building?" She smiled brightly and nodded. Roman pulled her away, saying, "Come on!"

The warehouse Neo had been leaning against immediately collapsed in a heap.
