Sorry in advance for how long this message got, but you should probably read it. At least the list of girls, so you what order they'll be in.

Alright, so, in case the summary didn't make things clear enough, this fic is going to be a series of oneshots and "what ifs?" for Ben's relationships with his many love interests. None of them are going to be connected and I'll only be sticking to the "main" love interests.

So, yes, I'm excluding Rook and Gwen and Kevin and all the other more popular ships. I know Ben x Gwen is big in this fandom for some reason, and I've got nothing against incest ships, but I just don't see it. I'm sorry, I don't. It makes no sense to me — Ben and Gwen, frankly, have zero chemistry. Same with Ben x Kevin. But as for Rook? Frankly, he's got more with Ben than any of these girls. I'm not saying that as a shipper — I'm saying that as someone who's pretty disappointed with the character writing in Omniverse. Ben should not have more chemistry with his partner over his wife. He just shouldn't.

Anyway, there will be eight chapters — one for each love interest. They'll all be oneshots. Other than some plot ideas maybe being expanded upon in future fics (I have an idea I'm tossing around for a multi-chapter fic surrounding Elena and a Ben/Kai oneshot I want to write in an attempt to make myself like her), there won't be any sequels or continuations. I'm just stating that now.

I'm going to be posting chapters in order of character popularity, from least to most. I'm cross-posting this on AO3 so what I did was sort fics by the number of times these characters appear. The only exception is Julie and Kai, who I switched around to "build the suspense."

(Side note: There's a disturbing lack of fics for most of these girls. One for Jennifer Nocturne and two-hundred for Julie? The appreciation curve is steep. I know Julie was around for all of UAF, but c'mon, guys. She wasn't that great.)

And yes, I am aware that Kai and Ben are canonly together. But they get so little screen time in the show that I wanted to explore it a bit. Maybe give some credence as to why they got married beyond "furry dick." I'm saving that chapter for last sort of so that Ben Prime can tie it all together for us.

By the way, this isn't all going to be fluffy. I'm going to write these girls as close to canon as possible, including their not-so-heroic personalities and their relationships with Ben. If you're coming into this expecting lots of cute shit, you're going to end up disappointed. Some of these girls are, frankly, bat shit insane. But I love them all (except Kai), so I'm going to give it my best shot.

There is no update schedule, just know that I have at least started all of them and they will all get done eventually.
