Chapter Six

It was about 7 in the morning when the pounding on her door got to be too much. Lucy was so glad she had Freed put Runes around her apartment so no one would just barge in whenever they felt like it. Tossing over for the fourth time since someone was banging on her door, Lucy felt the leg of someone hairy drape over her own smooth legs.

"You gonna get that?" a slurred voice of Bickslow beside her had her open her mocha eye to see him. His eyes were closed and his hair a mess, but her eyes glanced down to his toned chest but the rest of him covered by her sheets, "You like what you see?" he slurred again.

Laying on her stomach, Lucy stretched her arms under her pillow and moaned, "I was gonna wait until they leave and yes, yes I do," softly smiling at him and bumping the sheet on her ass, causing it to dip more.

"They have been knocking for 10 minutes, they aren't leaving," shifting to his side and pulling her to his chest, rubbing the smooth skin down her spine. She hummed against his pec and closed her eyes again until the pounding got louder and faster.

"Lucy! I need to talk to you! I know you're in there!" Natsu yelled at the door, Lucy smiled knowing that he couldn't get through the window anymore. After telling Natsu to hold on, Lucy groaned, kneeling on her bed while the sleep was still evident on her face.

Rubbing her face of sleep, she opened her eyes to see Bickslow an inch to her face. She squeaked but was muted by his lips on hers. She grabbed the sides of his face to kiss him deeper, his hands fell to her hips; suddenly she was pulled in his lap, both still fully naked and well aware of it.

"Luce! Stop and talk to me!" sighing and laying her forehead on his collarbone.

She heard Bickslow chuckle when she was pulling on her underwear and Bickslow's button up shirt. She stuck her tongue out at him and walked her happy ass to the door.

Opening the door to see her former pink-haired partner with an impatient look on his face. She was about to say hi, but he shouldered his way into her place and stood in her living room, waiting for her.

"Nice to see you too, Natsu," slowly closing the door behind her and staring at the slayer. "Did you need something?" crossing her arms, mimicking him.

"I wanted to talk about what happened," he sat on her couch, still keeping his eyes on her. Lucy still stayed at the door, only raising an eyebrow for him to continue, "I wanted to say I'm sorry. I didn't know you felt that way and I never noticed that we were holding you back,"

Lucy then sat on the armchair across from him, "Thank you Natsu,"

"I'm really sorry Luce, I never meant you leave you for that long. I just lost Igneel and I almost lost everyone else. I just needed time away and I thought that you would still have the guild. I'm sorry," Natsu leaned on his knees, looking down.

Her brows frowned, sighing, moving closer to Natsu on the couch to hold his hand, "Natsu, I'm sorry. I never put your feelings into consideration. When I lost Aquarius, I only thought of myself. I'm really sorry about Igneel by the way," squeezing his hand. her mind was only about herself; everyone had lost someone that day. That was one of the worst fights Fairy Tail took on.

His arm slung around her shoulder, pulling her close into a side hug, "It's okay Luce! We're good now right?" she nodded and laughed, "See we're still best friends, but seriously; you and Bickslow?"

Lucy punched his arm as he laughed, "I am right here pinky," Behind them stood Bickslow, leaning on the wood frame, clad in only boxers and a pair of socks.

"So, are you guys a thing now?" Natsu asked, narrowing his jade eyes at the Seith mage. He was apparently dating his best friend; he might have to give him the speech but Bickslow was also a Fairy Tail mage.

Shrugging, then strolling over to the blonde mage and threw his arm around her waist, "I guess so, is that cool with you," Looking down to Lucy.

Placing a finger to her chin, she hummed, "I think, I'm pretty hazy on the details," Smiling softly at the blue-haired mage, completely forgetting that Natsu was standing there with a scowl on his face.

"Guys…" he grumbled and threw his head back in dramatics.

Bickslow suddenly threw the blonde over his shoulder as she squeaked and smacked his back, "Sorry Natsu, we got something we got to do," he told the slayer unapologetically, walking back into the stellar mage's bedroom.

"You guys are gross!" Natsu yelled, running out of the apartment altogether.

[***]

It has been a year later; Lucy was in her normal spot in the famous Fairy Tail guild hall. She was happy on this day; her and Bickslow had been together for more than a year and things couldn't get any better.

They had just had their first anniversary last week; they took a nice day out together with night swimming in the pond by their house. Lucy had moved into the thunder legion house months back. It was better than living in her apartment, still paying for it when she could live with her best friends?

Levy came to sit beside Lucy at the bar, although it took her a few moments because of her large stomach, "You look happy today," the bluentte commented.

"How could I not be? I have a wonderful boyfriend who loves me and an awesome yet, crazy family, what else could I want?"

The pregnant mage giggled, "Yeah that does sound amazing, what did you plan on doing today?"

When she was on thought, Lucy failed to notice her, not so subtle, boyfriend come up behind her to scare and tickle the poor blonde. She screamed then started to laugh when he wouldn't stop, after kicking him in the shin, he stopped, "Asshole!" smacking his chest.

He rolled his tongue out in laughter, along with the rest of the guild, "I have a mission for us today, cosplayer," his babies flying over to the two, sitting across from the blonde on the bar.

'Like mission'

'We picked!' they chanted in chorus; she could only laugh. How could she say no to that?

Getting to her feet, she held her hands up, "Why not? Let's go!"

The couple walked hand in hand on their way to the mission that Lucy just noticed she had no idea what it was. His babies were floating around the woods, looking like they were playing hide and seek with each other.

"Bicks, what is this mission?" squeezing his hand and falling into step with him.

His eyes were gazed to the bright, cloudless sky, "It says it's a demented ghost in an abandoned house," he explained squeezing her hand back.

"Oh, that sounds familiar," she chirped and skipped a few steps. She couldn't think of anything as to why it sounded familiar, maybe it was a story she read. The blonde shrugged it off, it was that important.

Getting to the town, they found themselves in Jontronus again and that name sounded familiar to her as well. Bickslow was keeping his mouth shut, he wasn't going to blow the surprise for her. no way. It was a miracle his babies stayed quiet this whole time.

"Is this the house?" Lucy asked, it also looked very familiar. It was starting to piss her off, why was everything looking so familiar? "Why does this look so familiar?" asking the Seith mage behind her.

They had already gone to the clients office, noting that they were Fairy Tail members and there to take the mission. To Lucy, it seemed that he already knew they were coming but she didn't question it. Now though, she was starting to question everything that was happening with this mission.

"Bicks…" She started but he only shushed her and pushed her forward onto the porch of the house. It looks cleaned up, but Lucy focused her eyes on her boyfriend. His hand turned the knob, but he was smiling at her softly.

Once the door was open, Lucy saw an immaculate sight before her. The entrance of the house was all decked out in red satin sheets with small bright lights surrounding a wooden end table with a box sat on top. "Wha…?" looking at him with tear filled eyes but looked back at the scene before her.

His little totems were each holding up a white card attached to the bottom of each.

Pappa: Lucy,

Peppe: Will

Pippi: You

Puppu: Marry

Poppo: Me?

She gasped, not noticing that Bickslow rounded the blonde and picked up the box from the end table in the center of the room. "Bicks," her voice waivered with her hands covering her mouth. He slowly lowered himself onto one knee, opening the small box to show a rose gold ring with twisted side connecting to a small ¾ carat diamond in the middle.

"You know I'm not good with words, but this was our first mission that brought us together and the day I really got to know you better," He started, looking the sweet, angel in the eyes.

She lowered herself to his level, closer to him and taking the box from him as he continued, "I know you like the color pink but I wanted to also give you the traditional ring so I went with rose gold and a single diamond," he rambled on but Lucy put a finger to his lips.

"Baby, stop rambling," pausing only to take the ring out of the box. "Yes,"

"Yes?" popping his eyes out at her.

Nodding profusely and letting a soft sob leave her lips, "Yes!" flinging her arms around his neck and laughing at how tightly he was holding her.

Together they walked into the guild hall to see all members cheering for them with a banner that read, 'Congrats!' Lucy laughed and looked to see the thunder legion on the second floor hold up beer mugs in smiles.

Bickslow shook his head but smiled at his crazy family while watching Lucy speak with Levy and Lisanna about the wedding. He never thought he would have this kind of happiness, always running around and taking missions with Laxus, Ever and Freed.

Now, he had someone to hold him here. To his home, she was his home. Her smile melted his visor right off his face, he never wears it anymore.

Lucy turned to him with a wide smile, his eyes watched her soul shine bright with happiness.

He guessed that it was all inside the soul that mattered.

And he wouldn't have it any other way.

Thank you all for reading it, I may or may not put an extra chapter to this, I haven't decided yet. But thanks again! Look out for my next story that will be out soon! Till next time guys!
