Disclaimer: I don't own Jesus Christ Superstar. This is based on the scene where Judas pushes Mary down a flight of stairs. It's AU and I hope you like the story.

"You know you're acting really stupid," Mary told Judas.
Anger flashed in his eyes.

"I AM NOT STUPID," he yelled at her.

"I didn't say you were stupid. I said you were ACTING stupid. There's a difference," Mary replied.
Filled with rage, Judas pushed Mary down 8 steps.

The second he did that he regreted it. Mary had broken her ankle. Jesus calmly helped her up and healed her ankle. He hugged and comfoted her. Judas could tell by the glare he recieved the he was in trouble. Jesus was clearly angry with him and he was really in for it.

"Guys," Jesus said calmly, "Go inside."
Everyone including Judas started to go inside.

"Not you," Jesus told Judas, "We have to have a long talk."

"I'm sorry," Judas said.

"I'm sure you are," Jesus replied with calm anger.

"I regret what I did," Judas said.

"I'm sure you do," Jesus replied.
He sat down.

"I want you to know," Jesus began, "I'm not angry with YOU but with WHAT YOU DID. You caused her to break her ankle. It could have been a whole lot worse. She could have died. What if she had hit her head instead of her ankle?"

Judas sighed.

"I never thought of that. Couldn't you have brought her back?"
That earned him a slap to the back of his theigh.

"Ow," he said.

"Of course I could," Jesus replied, "But that's not the point. You have to learn to control your anger."

"So you can punish me for pushing her down the stairs but I can't punish her for saying I was acting stupid?"

"Judas that isn't the same thing and you know it," Jesus replied, "GOD does not want you doing harm to your enemies let alone your friends."

"You love her don't you," Judas asked.

"I love everyone," Jesus replied, "and that includes you. That's besides the point. The point is that you can't push her down the steps. You can't harm her in any way. It is unacceptable. It's wrong. It's not okay."

"I'm sorry," Judas said.

"You have to apologize to her," Jesus replied.

"I will," Judas said.

"NOW," Jesus replied giving him a light smack to get him moving.

"Hey," Judas said, "I thought you said to forgive."

"I care about you too much to let you do something that can harm you," Jesus replied, "and I care about you too much to let you do something that can harm her."

"I'm sorry," Judas said.

"I forgive you," Jesus told Judas, "I forgave you as soon as you did it. But you need to apologize to Mary."
Judas walked into the home and walked up to Mary.

"Listen," he said, "I'm sorry for what I did."

"I know," Mary said, "I forgive you."

"Thank you," Judas replied, "But you shouldn't have called me stupid. That hurt my feelings."
Jesus sent Judas a look.

"I didn't call you stupid," Mary replied, "I said you were ACTING stupid. There's a difference."

"Maybe," Judas said, "But what I did definately WAS stupid. I will never do it again."

"Good," Mary said.
Judas never did do that again.
