A/N: A new chapter in the story. My Bata Death of a Dark Angel returned at the end of July and we have been slowing working on the chapters from the start. I have reposted Ch1-4. The changes are mostly in grammatical and spelling corrections. I like to thank those that have left reviews. I continue to slowly work on the The Bond and the Ritual and on my second story, with the muse running away at times.
Harry Potter is JKR property. I just play in the sandbox she made.
The Bond and the Ritual
Ch 8
2 December 1991
Potter Manor
The students had just finished the morning physical training class and were getting showered and dressed before heading to breakfast. Today they would be starting on the new textbooks for several of their classes. There would be no change in the textbooks for Runes, Arithmancy, and Wards, as they had not really started those topics. Those three classes only met once a week and are still more of an introduction to what they did for you and how they can be used or have been used in the past, they will start actual class work later in the year. They had three weeks of class before the Yule Holiday break. The students noted the first reading assignment in the new books were review of what they had learned and more basic skills that they will need to use in future classes.
All of the students were attending the morning physical training class and they all participated in the afternoon weapons training class. Each of the students had noticed an increase in their endurance with the amount of physical training and the repetitive use of magic that was required in their practical class time. Each student was comfortable in the use of a staff or dagger in self defence, and they all carried a common dagger, with the exception of Lysandra and Hermione. They both carried several blades on themselves, and at least one of the blades they carried was a Nyx blade. When the weather was nice and could support the class did their DADA practice outside in the designated practice rings out closer to the stables. Other wise the practical training took place down in the training rooms.
Lysandra and Hermione were excelling in the training on the use of their staffs and blades. Professor Iwasaki and Master Rockfist were pushing the two on the fighting stances and use of the staff in defence and counter attack. The two instructors understood that their House Magic and talent contained staff and blade weapon skills. The sisters were now required to have their staff with them at all times. So that Lysandra's and Hermione's use of the staff to defend and counter-attack, was second nature to them, and did not take thought for action. The sisters had also shown great skill with the daggers, dirks, and knives. They were getting double training from Richard and their instructors on the use of them. It was not uncommon to find multiple blades on either sister, from their house blades to modern throwing knives. Both of the girls could draw and throw a dagger, hitting a moving 4inch target at 3yards, while moving.
Lysandra had finished showering and changed into normal robes for the days classes and was about to leave their room, when she felt a strong pull to stay and wait for Hermione. 'The pull had never been this strong before,' thought Lysandra. She had become adjusted to the pull sensation and knew that the harshness of the pull reflected different emotions and feelings. She had talked with Hermione on several occasions about what she was feeling at times to get a sense of her emotions and how they maybe affecting the pull. The two sisters had also talked with Amelia and Andi about what was going on between the two of them and how this pull affected them. Amelia and Andi were still reviewing older magic and would ask them of any new development in their pull.
"Hermione, is there something wrong?" asked Lysandra as she walked over towards the closet where Hermione was getting dressed.
"No. Why?" replied Hermione.
"I was just about to leave and I felt a really strung pull to stay and be with you," answered Lysandra, as she entered the closet and saw her sister. Seeing her sister, Lysandra walked over and wrapped her arms around Hermione, from behind, and buried her face and nose in the still damp hair at the side of her neck. Inhaling Hermione's scent and holding her sister seemed to calm the pull and fill her with relief and serenity.
Hermione turned around in her sisters arms and wrapped her arms around Lysandra mimicking her and she also had the same feelings of relief and serenity. "Lysandra, how are you know?" she asked quietly with her head still lying against Lysandra's neck.
"Better, and calm," replied Lysandra as she slowly pull back from Hermione to look into her eyes as she replied. The two girls stared into each others eyes for a long moment, each seeing the love and caring they had for the other, and the desire to protect the other.
"We had better get a move on if we what breakfast before class," stated Hermione. Nodding Lysandra let go of Hermione and started to turn around when Hermione quickly pulled her tight and left a very chase, light kiss on the side of her cheek, before letting her go. The two sisters looked at one another before nodding and left for breakfast. Both of them felt better and relaxed and neither of them noticed that the pull that they felt earlier was gone, as if some need had been filled by the just completed contact and intimacy they shared.

Diagon Alley
23 December
Hermione, Lysandra, Susan, Daphne, Hanna, Tracey, Luna, Neville and Professors Iwasaki, Wades in Water, and Singh had just entered the Alley form the Leaky Cauldron on their way to Gringotts chatting amongst themselves about what Yule or Christmas will bring. As they were nearing Gringotts their progress was impeded by the presence of a slicked haired blond sneering ponce that verbally accosted Daphne.
"Greengrass, why are you not at Hogwarts where you should be as the next Lady Malfoy?" demanded the arrogant ponce.
"Heir Malfoy, I am not your property and you have no say where I study and who I am with," replied Daphne, coldly.
"Before the holiday is out you will be my betrothed and you will do as I say as your better," sneered Draco. "You will no longer be soiling yourself with the presence of blood traitors, half-bloods, squibs and mud-bloods," as he reached for Daphne to force her to join him and his parents.
Before Draco could reach Daphne or Lucius Malfoy could say anything, Draco found himself laying on the street with a foot on his chest and the end of a staff against his throat and staring up into cold penetrating emerald green eyes at the other end of the staff. Lucius was outraged at seeing his son assaulted and on the ground, as he started to move he found another glowing staff in his face and very determined witch at the other end.
"Do you you know who I am, you bitch?" Lucius demanded. "You need to know your place and betters."
"You are Mr. Malfoy of foreign house Malfoy, and this pompous ponce on the ground would be your son Draco," answered Lysandra with coldness. "Mr. Malfoy, your son just attempted to assault the Heiress of and Ancient House in the presence of of three Heirs of Ancient and Noble house. YOU MIGHT WANT TO TEACH HIM WHO ARE HIS BETTERS ARE!"
The incident was gathering a crowed and Narcissa became aware of this. She also had seen the House Crests on the cloaks worn by the children and noted that what was said was true. She also saw that the two with the staffs had a strange House Crest that started to nag at her memories, and this bothered her.
Professor Iwasaki approached Lysandra and Hermione. "Well done, now allow the untrained simpleton and his father be," stated Professor Iwasaki. Lysandra and Hermione stepped back with their staffs still held in front of them in a neutral stance. Turning to Lucius, "They maybe children but they will defend any assault or aggression towards themselves or anyone in their company. You should be teaching the idiot you call a son how to act in public, if he is to replace you as a head of house."
Lucius was livid with how he was being addressed by the foreigner in public. "You should watch how you talk to your betters," responded Lucius, sneering at the professor. "You may find yourself in a not so pleasant situation."
"Sir, and I will use that term loosely, are you openly threatening me in public?" questioned Professor Iwasaki, calmly and in a soft voice.
The cold hard look on the face of the man in front of him and the poise and manor of the man, made Lucius realise that he was dealing with a dangerous unknown quantity.
Before things could take a further turn for the worst two Auroras arrived and for Malfoy it was not good as the older of the two was Mad-eye Moody.
"Lucius, I see you are disturbing the peace. What is the problem this time?" asked Moody.
"That Bitch attacked Draco without cause, pointing to Lysandra, and this one threatened me, pointing to Hermione," stated Lucius. Both girls still had their staffs in hand.
"And why would two young witches attack you without cause?" inquired Moody.
Lucius stood quietly staring at Moody, knowing that Moody saw through his lies.
"Uh-uh, no answer," finished Moody. "Can anyone state what happened with Mr. Malfoy and his son?"
"Auror Moody, Draco started this by blocking us and verbally assault Miss Greengrass, about where she was and who she was with at first and then he attempted to grab and pull Miss Greengrass with him to join him and his father," stated Miss Bones. "It was when he attempted to grab Miss Greengrass that Miss Potter and Miss Granger reacted to the assault."
"Mr. Malfoy..." started Miss Abbott.
"That is Lord Malfoy, you blood traitor bitch," Lucius responded to the repeated use of Mister.
"Lucius, as the one speaking out ranks your House, they can address you as they want," interjected Moody. Looking at Miss Abbott to continue. Alastor was enjoying watching Malfoy fume at the public correction of his Houses station. 'These two young witches need watching, as Lucius may have kicked the proverbial dragon,' he thought. He also noted the Potter Family Crest and the second unknown Family Crest.
"Mr. Malfoy, then started to go on about how we should know our place in the presence of our betters," finished Miss Abbott. "That is when Miss Potter reminded Mr. Malfoy that his son just assaulted a member of an Ancient House in the presence of Heirs to three Ancient and Noble Houses."
"Auror, that is when I stepped in and had my students step back and informed Mr. Malfoy that they will defend themselves or anyone in their company from assault or threat," added Professor Iwasaki. "He should be glad that they only used their staffs."
Hearing this comment, Narcissa looked at Lysandra and Hermione more closely and suddenly recognized the small indications that the two wielded blades. Her eyes again flicked up to the unknown crest on their cloaks, with unease.
Auror Moody's magic eye that had not left Lucius as he was talking with the other people present quickly spun around to the two young witches and assessed them. He picked up the miniscule signs that they were both carrying blades, along with the staff they each had in their hands. Moody suspected that the comment was not for show and if they handled the staffs like it sounded then they knew how to use the blades. His magic eye finished the assessment and returned to watching Lucius, but it also picked up the arrival of the goblin guard at the steps of Gringotts.
"Are you going to arrest the two bitches for the attack," demanded Lucius of Moody.
"No," replied Moody. "They acted in defence of their friend and they showed restraint in their response. Your family is a Foreign House and your son openly attempted to assault a member of an Ancient House."
"Draco is the Heir of the Ancient and Noble House Black, and I am the acting proxy until he comes of age," stated Lucius. "He was acting in his right as Heir of House Black to correct his future betrothed."
"You may fool others as to your status in House Black," replied Moody. "I will talk with Lord Black directly."
Now Lucius was furious that he was publicly being question, but more terrified in the knowledge of what Lord Black would say and do. He did not know that Draco was the next Heir, only his speculation as there were no other eligible males alive.
"Draco, we are going home," stated Narcissa Malfoy.
"No, I am staying with father," replied Draco, mimicking his fathers sneer.
Seeing that her son was more like his father and showed less qualities of the Blacks, Narcissa turned and left. She was concerned and bothered by the strange House Crest on two of the young witches. This bothered her as she knew the history of the different Houses in England and Europe.
Lucius anger was muted by the response of Draco to his mother, but it did not resolve the anger at House Malfoy being publicly humiliated by these two bitches. They needed to be taught how to respect their betters, but with Moody there and he could do nothing. Lucius turned and left to finish his business in the Alley.
"Draco," said Lucius, as he left the group.
The slight to the senior houses did not go unnoticed by the Heirs and the people in the alley.
"Lysandra, how did you know of House Malfoy status?" asked Susan.
"Since I have been at the manor, I have been reading all I can on the politics and Houses here in England," replied Lysandra. "I will be discussing today's events with my mentors. I recommend that you talk with your Heads of House about his behaviour and threats to a senior Houses." Lysandra did not forget that Moody was still there and she was not going to drop any more information as to where she has been.
Moody watched Lucius and Draco leave the alley before moving on. Looking at the two young witches, "Good job in defending your friend. Constant vigilance is key to survival," Moody said as he bid farewell and continued his walk through the alley. Moody's magical eye continued its random scanning watching both Lucius and the group of students as they approached Gringotts. He watched in surprise the respect shown by the goblins to the two young witches, as they arrived at the bank.
The group continued their trip to Gringotts and as they were approaching the bank they noticed a small group of fully armed warriors at the base of the steps. Unknown to the party the two guards stationed outside the bank observed the altercation with Lucius and informed their captain of the events, as they knew who Lady Potter and Lady Granger were. The captain ordered a full squad to the bank steps, and sent a message off to Director Ragnor. As the party approached the guards acknowledge the two young Ladies.
When they entered the lobby the party was meet by Keeper Ragnok and Director Ragnor.
"Keeper Ragnok, may your gold grow in the wake of your enemies loss," greeted Lysandra.
"Miss Potter, may the family vaults expand to the demise of your foes," greeted Ragnok. "Miss Potter may I introduce Bank Director Ragnor."
"Greetings Director Ragnor, may your profits be large and your challengers destroyed," welcomed Lysandra, bowing slightly to the Director.
"Miss Potter, may the gold in your vaults grow with the destruction of your enemies," stated Director Ragnor.
"Keeper Ragnok, what brings you and the Director down to meet us today?" inquired Lysandra.
"Miss Potter, we were informed of your confrontation with House Malfoy," answered Ragnok, with a very toothy grin.
"We came to withdraw some gold for Yule shopping, but I see a discussion of the events is warranted," replied Lysandra. "We should proceed to a more appropriate location for discussion."
"Yes you are correct," responded Ragnok, seeing the interest of several witches and wizards looking at the party. "This way," directed Ragnok as he left the lobby and moved for a conference room.
The group arrived at a small conference room off of the main lobby and members of the party provided their observations and detail of the events just outside the bank. Lysandra and Hermione informed Keeper Ragnok and Director Ragnor how Draco insulted and then attempted to removed Heiress Greengrass from the group. Neither recalled thinking about using their staffs to defend Daphne or the group.
"Lady Potter, this reaction is what Master Rockfist and I have been striving for in our training sessions," stated Professor Iwasaki. "There was no thought or deliberation as to your actions. The attack was made and you instinctively reacted and defended your friend."
"Lady Potter, you have taken one of the biggest steps into being a warrior," stated Keeper Ragnok. "The attack was made and you instinctively responded. This process can be a large hurdle for many cadets."
Director Ragnor watched the two young witches and noted that they did not loose connection with their staffs. He did not care for the Head of House Malfoy, for he showed no respect to the nation and now he has openly threatened allies of the nation. King Ragnok V, will need a report of the incident and fees for House Malfoy have just went up.
The meeting was soon over and the party left Gringotts after collecting the funds for gift buying, and spent the next several hours shopping in the different story in Diagon Alley.

DMLE, Directors Office
Moody approached the directors office, after returning from his shift in Diagon Alley, and knocked on the door.
"Enter," called Director Bones. Moody entered the office and closed the door, shifted away from the door and waited while Madam Bones finished some paperwork.
Finished with the paperwork, Madam Bones looked up and saw Moody in her office. "What brings you here Moody?" inquired Madam Bones.
"I just finished by shift in the alley and filed a report on a dust up in the alley," answered Moody.
"Anyone of importance?" asked Madam Bones, watching Moody for she knew he was hiding something.
"Just one of our favourite death eater and his spawn," started Moody.
"Lucius?" asked Madam Bones. She received a nod form Moody.
"Oh and you niece and her friends." Moody now had her full attention and he watched as what he said process through Madam Bones head.
"That bastard had best not laid a hand on Susan," stated Amelia, rather loudly and with promise of retribution.
"No. It appears Draco had some words with Heiress Greengrass and attempted to grab the girl and remove her from the group when he found himself on the ground with a foot on his chest and the end of a staff in his face," stated Moody. "Lucius was not much better with a staff in his face."
"Staffs?" asked Madam Bones. She knew Susan was going with her class mates and some professors for Yule Shopping.
"Yes," answered Moody.
"Why do I have a feeling that the Minister or his Toad will be visiting?" asked Madam Bones.
"Maybe it would be that Lucius was publicly humiliated by an Heiress of an Ancient and Noble House in Diagon Alley afterwords," responded Moody, failing to hide the grin on his face.
"What transpired?" demanded Madam Bones. If she was to deal with the fool of a Minister or the idiotic Toad of an undersecretary she would need the facts.
"The group of students your niece was with were stopped by Draco," stated Moody. "He insulted Miss Greengrass and insinuated that she was his betrothed. His next action was to try and grab Miss Greengrass and remove her from the group. That is when Miss Potter dropped him to the ground with her staff and the end in his face, and Miss Granger had hers in Lucius's face. Lucius called the two bitches and demanded that they learn how to respect their betters. That is when Lucius was publicly dressed down by Miss Potter in the Alley with a crowd gathering. All of this occurring short of Gringotts."
"Oh, I am going to have to see Susan's memory of this," stated Madam Bones. "What was said that got Lucius so mad?"
"Miss Potter reminded Lucius that his son, member of a foreign house, had just attempted to assault the Heiress of an Ancient House in front of Heirs of three Ancient and Noble houses," replied Moody. "She then reminded Lucius that he should teach his son to respect his betters. Lucius also publicly threatened one of the professors along with Miss Potter and Miss Granger. Lucius attempted to justify Draco's actions as being the Heir to House Black. I will be requesting a visit with Lord Black."
Amelia was impressed with the actions of Lady Potter and Lady Granger. She knew from Susan that the two were now carried their staffs with them at all times, she also knew that they had Family daggers on them. She was glad that they were not carrying their family swords with them. She knew that Lucius got off easily but she expected to have this all blow up as Lucius did not get the satisfaction he wanted.
"Moody, complete the full report and have Shacklebolt go over the memory with you to ensure you missed nothing," stated Madam Bones. "I expect Lucius will run to Fudge and if he does not get the response he demands then this will come up at the next Wizengamot session. Did you place any trackers on Miss Potter or Miss Granger, or any other member of the party?"
"No," answered Moody.
"Good," replied Madam Bones. "I know Albus talked with you last summer about Miss Potter. Your only warning, do not interfere with Miss Potter or discuss her with Dumbledore. Their is a restraining order against him. I will talk with Lord Black."
"Understood," replied Moody, as he departed the Directors office. Yes Albus had contacted him about Miss Potter last August and he poked around some but was unable to locate or find where Miss Potter was. He informed Albus of his finding or lack there of. He was impressed with the skill Miss Potter and Miss Granger in dealing with Lucius. Moody also had issues with the line of questioning that Albus posed and his actions in their last meetings about Miss Potter. Miss Potter needs watching he decided and not for Albus, this young witch was going to cause someone problems and it will be interesting to see the fallout.

Headmasters office Hogwarts
Dumbledore had been informed by his network of followers that Miss Potter was in Diagon Alley with some friends doing some Yule shopping. With the alley being full of holiday shoppers, he would be able to approach, under disguise and apply a new tracking spell to locate where Miss Potter is living. Then he can pick her up and bring her to Hogwarts like she needs to be and introduce her to Mr. Weasley. It is all for the Greater Good. Dumbledore transfigures his gaudy lime green robes into more traditional daily robes and applied a disguising charm and departs for Diagon Alley. After visiting several stores, he is able to locate Miss Potter, but he is unable to approach close enough to apply a tracking charm.
His disguised being did not go unnoticed by Miss Potter and Miss Granger nor their professors. As they noticed the same figures following the party for the last two stores. The party left another shop and made their way towards Eeylops Owl Emporium and when they were out of site of the person trailing them, Lysandra called the Potter-elves take them back to the manor.
Dumbledore stepped into the Owl Emporium and was surprised to not find his target in the shop. He looked in several of the shops around it and was unable to find Miss Potter in any of them. He continued to look in several other stores and shops but never found his target. He retreated to a hidden alcove and apparited back to his office.
Dumbledore was quite irritated/angry that he was not able to apply the tracking charm. He had seen the child several times but could not get close enough to properly apply the charm.

As soon as Mad-eye Moody left her office, Madam Bones sat down and wrote a quick note to Lord Black requesting a meeting with him. After sending the message off she returned to the mound of paperwork collecting on her desk. She worked through the paperwork until lunch and then took a break to eat a quick lunch and stretch her legs. She had just returned to her desk when Minister Fudge came into her office with his undersecretary, who looked more like a toad.
"Director what is the status of the investigation on the assault of Lord Malfoy?" demanded Fudge.
"Minister, the incident was reported and I have talked with the responding Auror and the case has been closed," answered Madam Bones.
"Hem Hem," Undersecretary Umbridge injected. "How can an attack on an upright pure-blood be complete and no charges filed?"
"Undersecretary, Mr. Malfoy's son assaulted the Heiress of an Ancient house in front of members from three Ancient and Noble Houses," responded Madam Bones. "As House Malfoy is only a foreign House he should be lucky that sanctions were not requested and an arrest."
"Madam Bones that is Lord Malfoy and his son is Heir to House Black," stated Fudge.
"I have sent a request to talk with Lord Black to discuss this clam as part of the investigation and I am waiting for a response," retorted Madam Bones.
"Now, there is no need to involve Lord Black in this," responded Fudge. "There is no other viable Heir for House Black, other than Draco Malfoy. Besides the girl involved is to be Heir Malfoy's betrothed."
"I will still verify this with Lord Black," stated Madam Bones. "As far as betrothed, until it is official and the contract signed it is assault. House Malfoy may still face charges, fines, or sanctions for the harassment of a senior House."
Even with Lucius Malfoy as one of his best supporters, Minister Fudge knew that the Wizengamot would not stand for a lower house assaulting or harassing a senior house. No amount of money will allow that violation of etiquette and conduct to be ignored.
"Dolores," called Minister Fudge as he left.
Madam Bones was reviewing the report from Moody of the events in Diagon Alley this morning involving Lucius Malfoy and Lady Potter. It showed that the etiquette and political classes held at Potter Manor on the weekends were paying off. Lady Potter clearly dressed down Lucius without getting personal or escalating the incident. 'I knew Lucius would go running to Fudge, when he was not getting his way with Moody in the Alley. He spouts pure-blood supremacy and how the muggle born do not follow tradition, but he himself ignores his House's standing do to his wealth,' reflects Madam Bones on the events. 'This should create some good discussion when we gather at Potter Manor.'
Lost in her thoughts, she did not notice the arrival of an owl with a response from Lord Black. The bark from the owl alerted Madam Bones and she removed the offered letter and the owl took flight. The letter was a port-key and would take her to Blackstone Manor at 300pm.

Blackstone Manor
Madam Bones arrived at 300pm in the main foyer of the manor. Waiting for her was the Carpey, "Master Black is waiting for you in the study, this way," stated the elf, leading the way.
The elf stopped out side the study doors and left. Madam Bones politely knocked on the doors.
"Enter," was heard from within.
Madam Bones opened the door and proceeded into the study. "Greetings Lord Black, thank you for seeing me today," stated Madam Bones.
"Madam Bones, welcome to Blackstone Manor, please sit," greeted Lord Black. "Your note for the request was rather intriguing. Please explain, as I get it there is more to the story."
"Lord Black, my niece was in Diagon Alley earlier today, doing Yule shopping, with some of her classmates which included Lady Potter, Heiress Abbott, Heiress Greengrass, Heiress Lovegood, Heir Longbottom, Miss Davis, Lady Granger and three of their instructors. The group was about to Gringotts when Draco Malfoy impeded the group and began to verbally assault Heiress Greengrass about her not being at Hogwarts and hanging out with half-blood, squibs,d blood traitors and mud-bloods. Mr. Malfoy then stated that as his future betrothed she needs to be with him and his family. He then attempted to grab and pull Heiress Greengrass from the group to walk with him." Lord Black nodded, as he was seeing this altercation playing out. "When Mr. Malfoy attempted to grabbed Heiress Greengrass, he found himself on the ground on his back with the butt end of a staff in his face and foot on his chest. Lucius was looking at a glowing staff head in his face."
"Lucius most likely did not like that," stated Lord Black with a chuckle.
"No, he did not," replied Madam Bones. "You see Lady Potter dropped Draco when he touched Heiress Greengrass before he even knew what happened, and Lady Granger had Lucius attention."
"Madam Bones, you have mentioned Lady Granger twice, who is this person, I do not recall any House Granger?" asked Lord Black.
"Forgive my forgetfulness," stated Madam Bones. "Miss Granger is the daughter of Lady Potters non-magical guardians. She will be Lady Nyx when she reaches her age of majority, until then she is Lady Granger, emancipated minor. Also Lady Potter is Heiress Nyx." Now Lord Black was stunned silent. He knew of the legends of House Nyx, but those were only stories.
"Madam Bones, you are telling me that a muggle born witch is now the head of one of the MOST Ancient magical Houses, and Lady Potter is the next in line?" asked Lord Black.
"Yes, I am," answered Madam Bones. "Those two Ladies have been training with staffs and blades since they found out in July. They also know about the history and battle prowess the house is known for."
"Madam Bones, do you think Lucius knew who they were?"
"No, he only saw a group of girls and people beneath him" answered Madam Bones. "Lucius then insulted Lady Potter by asking, 'do you know who I am bitch, you need to respect your betters.' That is when Lady Potter publicly dressed down Lucius. She pointed out that Lucius is the head of a foreign house and his son, assaulted the Heiress of an Ancient House in the presence of Heirs of three Ancient and Noble Houses. Lucius then openly threaten Lady Potter that she needs to know her place or she may meet a not so pleasant ending. One of their instructors stepped in and praised Lady Potter and Granger for their defence of their friend and to leave the untrained fool and his father be. He informed Lucius that he should be glad they only used their staffs." Lord Black had a slight puzzled look. "Besides the staff and their wands each one of them carry between 2-6 blades on them. They each carry two House Daggers and several throwing knives."
Now Lord Black understood the comment from their instructor and he could image the damage that those blades could do.
"Seeing the commotion Master Auror Alastor Moody approached the group and inquired what was going on," continued Madam Bones. "It was during this discussion that Lucius stated 'as Draco is Heir to house Black, and I am the designated Proxy, he has the right to correct his future betrothed.' So I am here to ask is this true, that Draco is the Heir to House Black?"
"No, Malfoy's spawn is not the Heir to House Black," answered Lord Black. Lord Black was fighting to hold his anger. "Was Narcissa with them and what did she do?"
"Lord Black, per Moody, Narcissa was with them and when she saw where Lucius was going she informed Draco that they were leaving and returning to the manor," answered Madam Bones. "Draco told her no, he was not leaving. Lucius pointedly asked Moody if what was arresting the bitches, and Moody informed him that he was not and that he was going to ask Lord Black about the Heir status."
Nodding Lord Black could see how that discussion between Lucius and Alastor went and he knew that Alastor was not afraid of Lucius. He will have to talk with Narcissa to she if she has anything to add. Lady Potter and this Granger will need close watch and proper education in House Politics. He approved of Lady Potters dressing of Lucius, but it still could have been done better, and drove the point home. "Madam Bones, with the start of the year I will begin working more with Lady Potter and Lady Granger on House Politics," stated Lord Black. "I will also call Narcissa to the manor and discuss this incident with her as I am concerned about the actions of Lucius. I heard about the November Wizengamot session and at the spring session he will not remain."
"Thank you for your answer about the Heir status," stated Madam Bones. "On another mater, I have finished my investigation and will schedule a trial for Sirius at the spring session."
"Madam Bones, I think that will be a very interesting session to attend," stated Lord Black.
The two continues some small talk about the ministry and the Wizengamot. Madam Bones bid her farewell and headed for Bone Manor. Lord Black, sitting at his desk, reflected back on the two conversations with Madam Bones, the news that his contacts had relaid on the incident and the happenings of the November Wizengamot session and the actions of Dumbledore. He is not a young man any more and the pettiness within the Wizengamot tired him. The spring session will bring some change and if Sirius is freed then House Black will survive. Lady Potter and her sister Lady Grange will need more training and help. Lord Greengrass, Madam Bones, Dowager Longbottom and Lady Abbott are good people to teach this small group of students. But these two will need extra sessions for the Power they will hold. Moving House Black more to the grey will cause some chaos within the Chamber, but The Family Black has always been traditionally more grey than dark.
'The new bloods do not know our traditions and culture, but the pure-blood families refuse to talk with them and educate them, so they will resist our ways. Many pure-blood have never been out side in the modern muggle world and would be lost,' thought Arcturus. 'This group that Lady Potter has formed will be a force in the future, and it is good that they seek knowledge and understanding.'

December 25th
Potter Manor
"Lysandra wake up," called Hermione. "It is Christmas, that means presents."
"Not so loud, some of us are trying to sleep," answered Lysandra.
Not to be denied, Hermione called for Twinkle to help get Lysandra out of bed. Her sister is not going to stay in bed on Christmas morning. Soon both girls were in the en suite finishing morning ablution, and moving towards the family room. Jerica and Richard were all ready up and stopped the girls in the hall.
"Hermione, you know breakfast first then presents," stated Jerica.
"But MUM, this is Lysandra's first Christmas," replied Hermione.
"That maybe, but the elves have already made breakfast for the manor and it is waiting in the dining room," answered Richard.
"Wait, I don't have to make breakfast?" asked Lysandra.
"Honey, we have told you before. You are not expected to cook special meals, you are not a slave. Lysandra you are part of this family and we all do our part in it," said Jerica, as she pulls Lysandra into a warm loving hug.
The family moves down to large dining room where the House-elves has set up a breakfast buffet. Several of the professors are already present talking and eating.
"Happy Yule everyone," greeted Jerica to the people in the room.
"Merry Christmas to you," answered Professors Wades in Water. "We use both terms back in America, depending on were you are at." Xina explained. "Some magical communities follow the muggles for the holiday, while many of the more established/older communities follow tradition." Jerica nods on hearing how other magicals celebrate the holidays.
"Professor Wades in Water," started Lysandra.
"It is Xina for the holidays Lysandra, we are not in class," stated Xina.
"Xina, does your family celebrate Christmas and Yule?" asked Lysandra.
"Our people, indicating her husband and herself, celebrate Christmas as it is part of the country," answered Xina. "But our people as a tribe celebrate the winter solstice, summer solstice, and the two equinox. Those events mark important times of the year for our people. We continue the tradition to honour ancestors and our culture. For instance the spring equinox marked the time of planting and the coming rains, for our tribe the winter solstice marks the beginning of a new year, and the time of storytelling."
"Thank you for explaining your traditions," replied Lysandra. "Yes, Thank you," added Hermione.
Breakfast was a fun affair, with everyone have a good time sharing stories, and the wonderful food the elves made. After finishing breakfast the Grangers moved back up to the family room on the family floor to open presents. Hermione was still bouncing around so excited to share Christmas with Lysandra.
"Since this is Lysandra's first real Christmas, she gets to pass out the presents," stated Jerica. "After lunch we will exchange gifts with the professors and the other families."
Lysandra went to the tree and pulled out the first present and carried it to Jerica. Soon all the presents were in 4 smaller piles by the couch and settee. The girls opened their presents and received new clothes, to include muggle style and some new daily robes. They also got new books to read a mix of magical tombs and regular books. One of the regular books was on the history and use of bladed weapons from around the world.
Hermione opened a small box that was attached to one of the books Lysandra got her and inside was a bracelet with two charms on it. One charm looked like a book and the second was s runic sigil for sister's love. Hermione, looked at the bracelet charms and then to Lysandra. Their eyes and their souls looked into one another, slowly the two moved together and held onto each other crying. One crying for seeing the pain her sister has endured, and the other for seeing the companionship desired. 'How is she able to select such meaningful gifts, when no one has loved her or given her a true gift,' contemplated Hermione.
"Lysandra, I love it. Help me put it on?" asked Hermione once they separated. Lysandra placed the bracelet around Hermione's right wrist and closed the clasp. They hugged again before going back to their seats.
Lysandra then picked up a small package that was from Hermione and slowly opened it. Inside she found a beautiful chocker necklace with two runic sigil, for healing and spirit on either side of the symbol of Nyx. Lysandra approached Hermione, "Thank you. Will you help me?" requested Lysandra. Lysandra placed the chocker to her neck and then Hermione secured it in place in back. Lysandra then pulled her sister into a tight hug and cried into Hermione's shoulder and neck. Hermione just held her sister and and rubbed her back until she was settled. Lysandra pulled back and looked at Hermione and thanked her again for the gift.
Once both girls has sat back down, Jerica pulled out one more gift after all the rest of the presents were opened. "Lysandra, Richard and I have one more present for you," she stated, as she handed the large sealed envelope to Lysandra.
Lysandra took the envelope and slowly broke the seal and opened it. Inside she found several pages of legal looking documents, with the royal seal on them. She slowly started to read the pages and stopped. She looked up to Jerica and Richard first, then to Hermione and back to Jerica. She wore a look of surprise, bewilderment, and then lost. Jerica realised in seeing the look on Lysandra's face, that her brain had shut down at seeing what was in her hand. Hermione was getting worried for her sister.
Jerica got up and moved in front of Lysandra and gently lifted her chin so they could see one another's eyes.
Lysandra's eyes betrayed her shock, when Jerica looked into them.
"Lysandra, the forms you have are the signed and sealed documents for your adoption," stated Jerica, as she slowly pulled Lysandra into a hug. "You are now our daughter and Hermione's sister."
Lysandra's arms slowly moved around Jerica and held onto her with all her might as she broke down and cried as she felt the love and caring pouring out of Jerica and the realization that she now had a family that loved her. 'I have a family,' thought Lysandra as her brain started to function. Hermione snapped out of her trance of concern for her sister as her mothers words penetrated her confusion over the concern for Lysandra. She went over and wrapped her arms around Lysandra from behind and held on tight as she now had a sister.
Slowly they calmed down and released one another with Jerica moving back to Richard's arm and Hermione and Lysandra moved back to the settee and back into one another' arms.
"I don't know what to say. But thank you," Lysandra finally stammered out.
"You're Welcome. Ted brought the papers over last week and I so wanted to tell you then, but thought this would be a better Idea," replied Jerica.
"Hermione, did you know?" asked Lysandra. Hermione shook her head no, as she still did not trust her voice, so she held her new sister tightly. 'We're sisters, bonding by magic and we care deeply for each other. Mum and dad just gave us the best present either of us could ask for,' thought Hermione, as she held onto her sister.
The family relaxed and enjoyed one another's company for the rest of the morning. The girls collected their gifts and moved them to their bedroom and put their clothes away. When they returned the house-elves had cleaned up the piles of wrapping paper from the room. They moved over and sat in front of the fireplace enjoying large mugs of hot chocolate. As it got close to 1200pm the family went back to their rooms to get changed for lunch and guests.
Starting slightly after 1200pm the other families started to arrive; first was Amelia and Susan, quickly followed by the Tonks, then Dowager Longbottom and Neville, followed by Lady Abbott and Hannah, then Xenophilius and Luna, and ending with the Greengrass and Davis families, who came together. The House-elves were ecstatic with the number of family members being present for the meal, they had not had this size of family gathering to care for in years and they enjoyed the challenge that it presented. Along with the families all of the Instructors were included who stayed for the holiday. Small gifts were exchanged amongst the members as they had slowly over the past few months began to think of themselves as an extended family. Politically the Greengrass and Davis were still seen as Grey while the Bones, Abbott and Longbottom were Light-Light Grey. Lysandra and Hermione discussion with the adults on some of the policies showed that House Potter was more Grey than Light. So in the Wizengamot they may still have some disagreements on policies, but today they were all family and enjoying everyone's company. For they all had one clear goal at the moment, the best education for their children and the building of friendship.
Unseen by the family members, tiny thin silvery tendrils of magic was reaching out from several of the witches present towards other witches and many reaching towards Lysandra and Hermione. The tendril that they shared had been growing and was now taking on more of a golden/sliver colour. So thin were these tendrils that non of the witches noticed the effects with the tendrils connected with one another and with Lysandra or Hermione, forming a web of interconnection.
As the afternoon moved onto evening the families slow bid their farewells and departed for their homes. The last families to leave were the Tonks and Bones. The three families gathered in the sitting room around the fireplace enjoying mugs of hot chocolate.
"Amelia, has any progress been made on Sirius and a trial?" asked Lysandra.
"Lysandra, yes. He will have a trial with the spring Wizengamot session," answered Amelia. "Ted will be acting as his solicitor."
"So I will get the rest of my family back by Easter," stated Lysandra, excitedly.
"Yes that is the plan. He will have to spend time at St. Mungo's after the trial for healing," responded Ted. Lysandra nodded her head in understanding.
"Additionally, starting after the holidays you will have some extra training on Saturdays," informed Amelia. "Lord Black has agreed to instruct you two on the ways of politics. I have had some meetings with him and we discussed your need for increased teaching in House politics."
"Will the others be allowed?" asked Lysandra.
"No this is just for you two," replied Amelia. "He was impressed with your handling of Lucius Malfoy, but knew that it could have been handled better, not the take down of Draco but the dressing you gave Mr. Malfoy."
"Lysandra, Hermione, you can learn a lot from Lord Black," added Andi. "He is strict, harsh and unyielding when needed. He will protect the Black family at all costs. Amelia do I need to stay away those days he comes over?"
"Andi, you do not have to stay away," replied Amelia. "I had informed him that we had etiquette and other house teaching on Saturday and who was involved. He looked proud that you were passing on what you had learned."
"Andi, why would you ask if you should stay away," inquired Lysandra.
"Lysandra, I use to be part of the Black Family," replied Andi. "When I married Ted, I was cast out of the family by Lord Black for disgracing the family by marring a muggle born wizard and not a pure-blood." Andi had an far off look when she finished talking as she remembered the happy times with her sisters.
Seeing the look on Andromeda's face, Lysandra felt guilty for asking what she did. "Andi, I'm sorry."
"Lysandra, no reason to be sorry, you did not know." replied Andi, observing the change in Lysandra as she thought she did wrong.
Nym was looking at the tree and noticed a present hidden under the tree towards the back.
"Nym, how has school been?" asked Hermione. Nym jumped a little being startled from her intrigue of the present.
"Most of the classes have been great with the typical exceptions of potions, and defence against the dark arts [DADA]," replied Nym. "Potions is taught by a greasy haired, angry, soured git, and DADA is being taught by a stuttering professor, scared of his own shadow."
"Snape, still not teaching?" inquired Andi, coming out of her thoughts about her discussion with Lysandra.
"Same as always, 'instructions are on the board', then he walks around and belittles the students, and vanishes potions on ones he does not like," answered Nym.
"Why is he allowed to do this and act this way?" asked Lysandra. "Doesn't the Headmaster care?"
"No, the Headmaster does not care. We have complained to our Heads of House, the Deputy Headmistress and to the Headmaster and all he says 'I have greatest confidence in Professors Snape's teaching ability.'" said Nym. "The man does not teach. I am one of two students in the 7th year potions class not from his house and those students belong to dark families."
"Dark Families, what are they?" asked Jerica.
"Jerica, there are three factions in Wizarding Britain," started Amelia. "We have the light, the grey and the dark families. The families participating in the teaching here are light and grey families. Most of the Dark Families are old pure-blood and would not associate with your family. To them your family, including Lysandra, is only good for being pleasure slaves, for the men."
"Jerica, Amelia is being polite in her statement," added Andi. "It would be a lot worse for Hermione and yourself, compared to Lysandra. She would be somewhat tolerated, as her father comes from a long line of pure-bloods. Richard, you would be straight out killed or they would use magic to control you and have you harm and/or rape Jerica and Hermione, for their enjoyment."
Lysandra and Hermione moved over to their parents and they pulled them into a family hug. The look of disgust was written on the faces of Jerica and Richard, that actions like this was still allowed. When they look down at their daughters they saw an eerie glow to eyes of both girls.
"Lysandra, what's wrong?" asked Jerica.
"Huh?" responded Lysandra.
"You and Hermione's, eyes have a strange glow to them." stated Jerica. The two girls looked at one another and then towards the rest of the group. They all shook their heads in agreement with the statement. Lysandra and Hermione returned their gaze back to one another and saw the eerie glow, they turned and faced each other and let go of Jerica and Richard. As they continued to look deeply into each others eyes the glow slowly faded and they closed the distance between, ending in a deep mutual hug, forehead resting on forehead. When they separated their eyes were back to normal, and their disgust, anger and feelings of protection had receded.
"Lysandra, what were you thinking?" asked Andi, when the girls separated.
"I was thinking of what you had said and became angry at the supposed actions of these families," answered Lysandra.
"I was feeling the same," stated Hermione. "Along with feeling the need to protect my family." Lysandra nodded in agreement.
"Your eyes had a eerie fire glow to them," added Amelia. "You both had to be thinking something or contemplating something? It was like your magic was preparing to fuel some retribution."
Lysandra and Hermione looked at everyone and then at each other, after hearing Amelia's comments and question. It was while they looked at one another they recalled passages from the Nyx Grimoire and the effects of the family magic.
"Andi, can you check us and our magic?" asked Hermione.
"Yes." answered Andi, as she moved over to the girls and scanned them one at at time. Her diagnostic spells showed an increased power level in both girls and a slightly more matured bond. No alarming changes or problems. "Everything looks normal, only that your power level are increased, and the bond is slightly stronger."
"Thank you Andi," replied Lysandra. "To answer your question Amelia, I was thinking of the harm that would befall anyone who attempted to harm my family, as Hermione, Jerica and Richard are now my family. Hermione and I have been reading the Family Grimoire and about the family magic. The glow maybe part of the changes from the family magic."
"When the members of Nyx go into battle it was written that the eyes of the witches will take on an eerie fiery glow, especially if it is in defence and protection of family, friends and allies," continues Hermione. "The power change is most likely from the increase in spells were are practising daily. We are both tired after our training, physically and magically. These sessions are after class were are using mostly Nyx family magic."
"The mental and physical tiredness improves after a snack, allowing us to finish any remaining homework," added Lysandra. "Sleep helps with the magical tiredness."
"You are using more magic in your practise and depleting your magic reserves, so like a muscle your magic has increased your reserves," summarized Andi, explaining the power change.
"Yes, the more you exercise your magic and deplete your reserves in training will cause your total reserves to grow. We try to train young Aurors to this level to improve their fighting ability," commented Amelia. "What types of spells are you using?"
"We are using charms learned in class in our wand hand and starting to use Family magic in our off hands with our daggers," replied Hermione.
"Your House Daggers?" ask Amelia.
"Yes." answered Lysandra. She pulled one out from her boot and passed it to Amelia. "Since we started weapons training with Master Rockfist, Professor Iwasaki and Dad, we both carry at least one House Dagger and several balanced knives."
"Balanced knives?" inquired Ted.
Hermione pulled out one of her throwing knives and show it to the group before passing it to Ted, and Lysandra also pulled out a throwing knife and passed it to Amelia. The magicals were impressed with the balance and feel of the throwing knife. They also noted that the knife was razor sharp along both sides of the blade.
"The throwing knives can be used in hand to hand combat as well as thrown at an opponent," stated Richard. "I was taught and used similar knives while on active duty. The girls always carry the throwing knives with them even in mundane clothing. We all keep quarter staffs handy as walking sticks when we go for walks, as Professor Iwasaki has been teaching the family how to use the staff."
"So that explains the rapid response from the two of you in regards to Draco Malfoy's attack on Miss Greengrass," expressed Amelia.
"Yes. We are both ahead of the rest in the use of the staff as we will always have our staff with us," responded Lysandra. "We have not started using staff based magic yet, only martial skills."
"Lysandra, there is a present still under the tree," stated Nym. Lysandra and Hermione looked at one another as they recalled passing out all of the gifts earlier. Lysandra got up and moved over to the tree and looked under the lowest branches and found a single package leaning against the wall, she picked up the package and returned to the group.
"Who is it addressed to?" asked Hermione.
Looking at the attached card, Lysandra saw that it was addressed to her. "It is for me."
Lady Potter,
This is a Family Heirloom that was taken from your parents cottage when they were murdered. It was recently retrieved and cleaned of all unwanted magic, tracking and monitoring type charms.
Vault Keeper Ragnok
"What is it?" asked Nym.
Lysandra slowly removed the wrapping paper to reveal a soft, silvery material, neatly folded. She stood up and opened the material and found the top and holding it out it looked like a cloak and she then wrapped it around herself. Looking down she could not see her body.
"What happen? Where's my body and legs?" inquired Lysandra excitedly.
"Lysandra that is an invisibility cloak," stated Amelia. "We use them at times in stake outs in DMLE."
"Amelia, most invisibility cloaks only last for a few years before the enchantments fail," stated Ted. "Heirlooms are typically passed down through the family for many generations."
"Ted you are right, in that most cloaks only last 10-15 years at most," responded Amelia. "I wonder, if this has been passed down through the Potter family for the last several generations, then it is exceedingly rare or it is one of a kind."
"Lysandra, what houses do you have?" inquired Andi.
"When I am 17 I will take up my seats as Lady Potter and Lady Peverell," replied Lysandra.
"Peverell as in the three brothers?" asked Nym.
"Nymphadora, I believe so," replied Andi.
"Roskey, please come here?" called Lysandra.
Roskey appeared with a near silent pop. "Mistress called Roskey?"
"Yes. Thank you for coming. Is my title Lady Peverell related to the three brother Peverell?" inquired Lysandra.
"Yes," answered Roskey, nodding her head causing her ears to flap. "The last daughter in the line of the youngest brother married your Great Grandfather many removed. The cloak has been passed down since then from father to child."
"So this is the Cloak of Invisibility?" inquired Amelia.
"Yes Madam Bones," answered Roskey.
"Roskey, thank you for your help," stated Lysandra, and Roskey popped away.
"So what is the difference between the two?" asked Jerica.
"We will leave you four to read the story of the three brothers. You can find it in the children's book 'The Tales of Beedle the Bard'," answered Andi. "After that we can talk about the cloaks."
The families talked and visited for awhile longer before the Bones and Tonks left for the evening. Lysandra and her family went back up the the family room and relaxed for the rest of the evening doing what the family enjoys, reading. Hermione stopped by the library and picked up the family copy of the children's book, for the family to read.
The girls had bid their parents good night and arrived in their bedroom and were getting ready for bed.
Lysandra collected her dressing gown, a pair of knickers and left for the en suite for a shower. Hermione entered the bedroom and got the bed ready for the night and her items and headed for the shower. Lysandra was just starting to wash her hair when Hermione entered and asked, "Would you like some help with your hair?"
Lysandra saw Hermione's image through the glass block wall, "Yes, and then I will help you," she replied.
Hermione quickly got undressed and entered the shower and gently ensured Lysandra hair was wet, and then she massaged in the shampoo through her locks. The tension in both girls drained from their bodies at the simple act of helping each other wash their hair. Soon Hermione was rinsing Lysandra hair and applying conditioner. Once Hermione was finished with Lysandra's hair and it was rinsed clean, Lysandra turned and first washed her sisters back and then ensured Hermione's hair was wet and returned the favour of washing and massaging her hair and scalp. Once Lysandra had rinsed Hermione's hair clean and conditioned, she rinsed off one last time and then got out of the shower and started to dry off with the large fluffy towels they had. She used a drying charm to help with her hair, and once it was partially dry she sat on the bench and started to brush it out.
"Hermione, today was one of the best days I have ever had," stated Lysandra.
"How was that?" inquired Hermione.
"First, I officially got a family, second I was included in the celebration of Yule and not just sent to the kitchen to cook and clean and then locked in my room, third we had an enjoyable time with our extended family and friends," answered Lysandra. "And most of all I get to spend the night and every day with my sister who I... " Lysandra quietly trails off not sure how to express this new feeling and understanding of it. 'How do I tell her how much I love her and is this how love feels?' thought Lysandra, as she went quiet.
Hermione had just shut the water off as Lysandra was talking and froze when she trailed off. She looked up to the mirror to see Lysandra's face and their eyes met in the reflection and Hermione saw the fear in Lysandra's eyes. She quickly towelled off and wrapped the towel around herself and went over to Lysandra and sat on the end of the bench.
"Lysandra, look at me," directed Hermione as she gently brought Lysandra's head around. "What is wrong, why are you scared? I can see it in your eyes."
"I..I..." Lysandra stutters. "I have this warmth here," placing her hand over her chest, "when I think of you and it got stronger after Jerica and Richard gave me the papers this morning. I know I have told you that I have never been shown love at my relatives house, and I don't remember how it felt with mum and dad. But is this feeling of comfort when your around, tightness when you are hurt or missing, and joy when we come together and I see you succeeded, is this what love is?"
"Lysandra, love is different for ever person in how they feel it," replied Hermione. "I feel comfort, safe, and caring when mum hugs me, as I know how much she loves me."
"Si... Sis, I love you," Lysandra finally stutters out to Hermione. The two girls close and hug one another tightly as the feelings of a sister's love fill them both.
"I love you to sis," whisper Hermione in Lysandra's ear. 'I so love my sister and friend. I have wanted to tell her this for so long, but was scared I would frighten her, now I don't have to worry,' thought Hermione. Slowly the two separate and Lysandra gets up and starts to lovingly brush her sisters hair. Once she is finished Hermione finishes brushing out Lysandra's hair and they both head for bed.
Lost in the feelings of the new identified love for each other they crawled into bed wearing only knickers and snuggled up to each other with Lysandra holding her new sister closely to her. As they slept there was a faint glow around the two sisters and that thin bond thread changed colour to a more golden thread and doubled in size.
As they sleep the two sisters walked through their dreamscapes and walk upon the terraced ritual circle with the collection of witches and statues. They noticed that the two inner circles are now one circle of thirteen witches around the brazier and the seven goddess statues around the circle. There is no changes in the elevated outer ring of watchers. As they walk down to the circle of witches they quickly identify them selves, opposite of each other. Looking at the others they notice that all of the cloaks now bear the crest of House Nyx. They see more features on the individual and now notice hair colour and body characteristics. Other than their own facies they can't make out the others.
One young witch is petite and very pail blond hair. Another young witch has very long black hair. Then they notice another young witch with short pinkish purple hair, that is slightly taller. One of the older witches has long wavy dark brown hair, with narrow waist and prominent bust, a second older witch with a large bust has red hair in a bob, and a third stands very stiff with black hair and a moderate bust. The last young witch that they notice has red hair and a larger breast compared to the other young witches, and the last older witch has tall frame with modest bust and long straight black hair.

Potter Manor
The floo flashed green as Madam Bones and Lord Black walk out into the public foyer. Lady Potter and Lady Granger greet their visitors before escorting them to the study. Once in the study formal introductions were made, after everyone was seated with tea.
"Lord Black, allow me to introduce myself and my sister," stated Lysandra. "I'm Lady Lysandra Dorea Potter, Head of House Potter and Peverell and Heir to House Nyx. This is Lady Hermione Jean Granger/Nyx, Head of House Nyx."
"Lady Potter thank you, I am Lord Arcturus Black Head of House Black and grandfather of Sirius Orin Black, your god-father," replied Lord Black. "I came with Madam Bones to meet with the two of you to discuss teaching sessions in Wizengamot and House politics. Madam Bones has informed me that Dowager Longbottom, Lady Abbott, Lord Greengrass, and herself have been teaching you of the customs and etiquette of Wizarding society. Our sessions will strictly be related to the politics in and around the Wizengamot. I know that Albus Dumbledore is planing something for the spring session in regards to you and I will be attending the session personnel and dealing with issues in the session. I believe that it will be best if you present yourself to the Wizengamot as Lady Potter and take up your seats."
"Lord Black, per law I cannot take up my seats until I reach 17," responded Lysandra.
"Lady Potter true. You cannot personally take your seat in the Wizengamot until 17years of age, but by law and tradition you can take up your seat and identify who will be your proxy in your place until then," stated Lord Black.
"Lady Potter, this is where Lord Blacks knowledge, experience and skill comes into your training," said Madam Bones. "We have been giving you generalized knowledge and practices in our Saturday classes. You will still have those and both of you will meet with Lord Black separately to learn the ins and outs of the Wizengamot. Currently your two seats have illegal proxies appointed by Dumbledore, by taking up your seat and naming your own proxies you will remove some of his power."
"Madam Bones is correct in her assessment, the two proxies currently in your seats vote how Dumbledore tells them," added Lord Black. "With me sitting in the session and removing Mr. Malfoy and you taking control of your seats, there will be a slight shift in the voting blocks in the Wizengamot. This can become larger if we choose to talk with and include the Longbottoms, Greengrass and Davis's."
Lysandra and Hermione sat quietly for a few moments taking in what was just said and reflected on their thoughts.
"So this headmaster, contributed to my parents murder, abducted me and left me with my abusive relatives and has been using my families seats for his advantage, along with not informing me or educating me on my place in this world," stated Lysandra, with set determination and fury. Both Lord Black and Madam Bones were taken back by the level of anger and fury in the voice of someone so young, and more when they both saw the glow present in the eyes of both of the young Ladies.
'This young lady will be a very good ally and possible future head of House Black, I will need to go over the House Charter to see if I can adjust the rules to allow headship to pass to her. She will do more good for the future of the house, than has been seen in generations,' thought Lord Black observing the young witches before him.
"Lady Potter, we will start your training next Saturday, and I will pass on some book titles through Madam Bones for you to read and review as we will discuss them in our sessions," stated Lord Black.
"Lord Black, thank you for the help in our education," responded Hermione, seeing Lysandra was still upset. "I think the up coming session will be a shock to several parties." Madam Bones was nodding in agreement.
The four continued talking and discussed some general rules of the Wizengamot and Ministry of Magic. About 45min later the meeting ended and everyone bid farewell and Madam Bones and Lord Black departed back to Bones Manor.
