Chapter 1. Back To The Past

- Houri Hospital, Zawame City -

A girl wakes up in a hospital room. A little surprised, she looked around the room. The room was quite dark, but the girl could look around quite clearly because the small light eminited from the window with slightly opened curtain. The room was not too big, but has enough medical equipment to maintain the girl's health condition. She saw her hand that has been intravenoused, then she forcibly pulled out the infusion. She felt healthy enough to no longer depend on these medical equipment. The girl then got out of bed and opened the window curtain, looking out from the room. She saw the scenery of Zawame City that even though in midnight it still looks quite crowded.

After turning on the light, the girl walked into the bathroom and then clean her face in the sink. The girl then saw her own face in the mirror, a young girl who has beautiful long black hair that braided. The violet-eyed girl then showed a frustrated face when she saw her own face in the mirror. She then took off her braids, letting her long black hair loose beautifully.

Tears then flowed down her cheeks. It appears from her face that she was suffering quite a lot. She tried to strengthen herself by removing her tears with her hands, but no matter how hard she tried, tears still continued to flow on her cheeks.

"I failed to save him again."

The girl then walked out of the bathroom unsteadily. She sat on her bed, then took something from her shirt pocket. the object that she held looked like a padlock that has a black apple motif on its surface. She gripped the object very tightly. The look on her face looked very angry. The girl then stood up and walked to the window. With anger she was about to throw out the object in her hand. But the girl fell silent, then canceled her intention to dispose the object. She then placed the padlock shaped object on top of the cabinet and then sat back on the bed while calming down.

"This is the sixth time I have returned to the past." Said the girl as she wiped away her tears that flowed back.

She then took her phone that was above the cabinet, trying to find out what date and time it was now. When activating the phone, she was surprised to see the wallpaper image from her phone. it was a photo of her and a boy about her age. The boy has short black hair and wears a blue jacket that has an open zipper, revealing a white t-shirt that says "GAIM" which he wears.

"It seems that me in this timeline has been pretty good friends with him." Said the girl with a bitter smile as she tried to hold back the tears that were about to come out again.

The girl shook her head, then put the phone back to the cabinet. The look on the girl's face turned serious.

"I don't want to experience the same thing again in this timeline, I won't let him die again!"

"This time I will definitely save Kouta-kun!"
