Star and Marco took the stage

To dance away their long gone past.

Their blood moon curse would disengage

And they could find true love at last.

They gently glided across the floor,

Their hands together as they danced.

The fun of the moment Star couldn't ignore,

The blonde princess now becoming entranced.

Star looked at Marco, into his eyes.

Feelings of warmth flowed in her soul.

He was her prize, Star figured out,

And knew that Marco made her whole.

She loved her Marco very dear

And knew she'd have to act quite soon

She asked her love, standing right near,

"What if it was never the Blood Moon?"

Alas, Star's words had come too late;

The scene now faded and hope now drained.

Her memories at last now sealed their fate,

Though for a moment, one sustained.

Star now felt guilty, about to cry,

Not knowing her feelings, her great regret.

She whispered, quite quiet and with a sigh,

"I love you, Marco...! Please don't forget..."

Now, in the past, t'was hard to find

All what was real and what was not

The question now that's on Star's mind

Was if this dance was all for naught.
