September in Arendelle was always hot. By mid October, the weather would hopefully cool down. Anna couldn't stand another moment of the relentless heat. Summer had been fun that year. Going on picnics with Elsa for lunch, splashing in the fjord, eating ice cream, staying up late and gazing at the stars with Kristoff.

Her adventures lessened each day as the warm season altered.

"Nothing to do," Anna sighed.

"Nothing to do?"

"Yes. I'm hopeless."

Elsa joined Anna at the table. "There's a new petting zoo in town. Why don't you go there?"

Anna immediately perked up. "Really? And I didn't know?"

"I guess not," Elsa chuckled.

"No, never mind," Anna folded her arms and rested her chin on top of them. "It's too hot outside."

"I still think you should go, you'll have fun."

With another sigh, Anna stood up. She gratefully patted her sister's shoulder before heading towards the door. "Thanks, Elsa. I'll give it a try."

"Of course, love."

Anna looked back at Elsa and smiled sweetly. The smile never left her lips as she returned to her duties. She knew today would be a productive day. She'll finish her paperwork, maybe read a few books, and spend time with Anna when she returned.

As she stacked the last of the papers, she leaned back in her chair with a sigh of relief. Elsa peered out the window in a distracted state, but what she saw next made her gasp. On her feet in a blink, she raced out of her study, down the stairs, and out the door.

"Anna what in the name of all is good is that?!"

Her little sister, glued where she stood, petted the animal beside her. "It's a llama, Elsa. Or an alpaca. One of those. Isn't he cute?"

"Cute?!"

"Yes!"

"Anna..."

Anna pointed a finger at her sister, who was baffled. "You said we could get a pet. Remember?"

Elsa pinched the bridge of her nose. "Yes, sunshine I remember. I meant a cat or a hamster but an alpaca?"

"His name is William and he is mine."

"Oh good Odin."

"And watch! He comes with tricks!" Anna patted her knees and the alpaca spun in a circle. He wobbled a little and then nuzzled Anna's cheek. She giggled and ruffled his tan fur. "See?"

"That's the cutest thing ever but...who owns an alpaca?"

"Farmers do. It's the same thing!"

"No it's not!"

"Yes huh it is!"

Elsa sighed. "We're not farmers, Anna."

"So? I'm planning to get a pig too, so it's official. Final. We're starting our own petting zoo and it's going to be awesome." Anna stomped a foot on the cobblestones. "I rest my case."

"Why did I agree to this?"

"Because you love me."

"Valid. But why must we own an alpaca?"

"We own a snowman," Anna retorted. "Whose alive, not to mention."

Elsa descended the steps and grew hesitant as she neared the alpaca. "Anna, I love you. I really do."

"And?"

"...You can keep him."

Elsa grunted as strong but warm arms gripped her tightly. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! You mean it?" Anna cried.

"I can't say no to you," Elsa giggled.

Anna steered her sister towards the alpaca. "Now, say hello to William." She watched as Elsa bit her lip and slowly extended a hand. Anna squeezed her shoulder. "Go on. He won't bite."

"I don't want to hurt him."

"You won't."

The alpaca gently nuzzled his fluffy head into Elsa's hand. She giggled.

"He likes you!"

"I like him too."

Elsa smiled softly, admiring the way she cared for William. She chuckled at her sister's antics. Anna spoke in high squeaky voice as she brushed his fur. He had his own little spot in the stables, next to Kjekk. She didn't mind being queen of a snowman, an alpaca...and a few other animals her sister had rescued. Most importantly, Elsa would do anything for Anna.

"Hey, Elsa? Can we get a dog?"

"Of course we can."
