"Happy Birthday, Squidward!"
SpongeBob, the oh so extravagant and lovable sea sponge yelled happily whilst barging into the Easter Island head his buddy lived in. Decked out in all sorts of crazy colors, shapes, hats, and some very funky shoes, SpongeBob rocketed around the interior of the house madly, blowing his green glittered party horn. Squidward lurched back into the counter behind him, screaming and gripping the edge for dear life with his light blue puppet mitts as the yellow cube narrowly missed his head. He watched the little guy go crazy for at least a minute, destroying vases, his coffee table, paintings, even ripping the wallpaper.
"SpongeBob!" Squidward yelled suddenly. The sponge halted in the air facing the squid, and blew his party horn once more.
"Yes?" he asked, floating down slowly.
"How many times have i told you i don't like you, or Patrick, or anyone else celebrating my birthday with me?" The cephalopod straightened up and took his mitts off. "All I want is peace and quiet!"
On que, Patrick crashed into the house loudly, reducing the wooden planked door choppy bits. Squidward screamed in terror once more and SpongeBob waved to his friend.
"Happy Birthday!" He yelled enthusiastically, sporting 5 party hats, and wielding a red and white polka-dotted horn of his own.
"Patrick and I got us all tickets to the next Kelpy G. concert, since we missed the last one!" SpongeBob held out a pair of tickets, and Squidward stared in disbelief. Patrick stomped his way out of the fallen door and joined them.
"Yeah, front row seats! We know how much you like that guy, old buddy." The sea star said with a smile.
Squidward didn't know what to feel. The pair had practically destroyed his house not even a minute before, and now he was being offered a- he'd admit- very thoughtful birthday gift. One side of him wanted to reject the gift to show them how angry he was, but another side would feel bad straight after. He knew those tickets cost a fortune by themselves. Did they steal them?
"I… you guys… you…" Squidward backed up slowly, an uncertain expression washing over his features.
"It's okay, Squidward; we can find someone else to go with so you don't have to!" That got him going.
"No it's alright, SpongeBob! We can all go together," Squidward shouted a bit loud. "As long as you dunderheads don't ruin it for me."
"Hooray!" Patrick exclaimed.
SpongeBob followed after with a loud "Woo-hoo!", and the duo blew their party horn simultaneously.
Later that evening only then had he realized what a mess he'd gotten himself into.
