Selina finds herself in need of rescue

Gotham City has an epidemic on its hands, a new powerful and relatively cheap drug called Hammer, it's a steroid that gives the user nearly superhuman strength, there are several drawbacks and side effects that come with this drug, it destroys veins and blood vessels, the drug also collapses vital organs, in most cases attacking the liver and sometimes the lungs. The drug made its way to Gotham from Mexico City, though who brought Hammer to Gotham still remains a mystery,

Catwoman went flying backwards after being thrown by a thug who is hopped up on Hammer, Catwoman slammed into the brick wall with force. Catwoman threw up blood as the world around her began to spin.

The hulking man walked slowly towards the injured brunette, Catwoman wipes the blood from her mouth with a shaky hand, pure unadulterated fear coursing through her, which scared the reformed felon even more since Selina has never been the type to admit that she did indeed have fears,

Suddenly, a pair of smoke bombs came out of nowhere and exploded, covering the area in a thick cloud of smoke. The large thug began coughing and wheezing due to the smoke, now temporarily blind the man stumbled away from Catwoman and right into Batgirl, who took the man down with a series of knee strikes and a roundhouse kick to the left temple which drops the loser, then Batgirl handcuffed him.

With the threat taken care of, Batgirl rushed over to Catwoman,

"Catwoman, I'm right here," Batgirl said, concern burning in her eyes,

The caped redhead picked Catwoman up and disappeared,

Catwoman opened her eyes and found herself in Barbara's secret apartment and Barbara was tending to her injuries,

"I'm... sorry, Barbara," Selina said, a single tear trickling down from beneath her mask,

"For what, Selina?" the redhead asked in reply.
