I don't and will never own Harry Potter. Also English is not my first language so sorry for the horrible grammar.
Screams
Screams
Screams
Screams
So many screams
Those of a man and a woman and the crazy laughter of Death Eaters.
These are the things one Neville Longbottom hears every time a Dementor is near him.
He heard his parents screaming as they were tortured by Death Eaters but never answering their questions and never giving up until they went insane and never spoke again.
Refusing to give up information that could rick their friends and innocent people.
He could hear the crazy laughter of Bellatrix Lestrange as she tortured them enjoying what she was doing more and more.
He can also vaguely hear his parents say that they will never give in and they will never speak.
He can vaguely see the smirks in their faces as the Death Eaters get angrier and angrier by the minute.
His parents stand tall and strong smiling all the time despite the screams that rip from their mouths as the Crocio is used more and more by some of the Voldemorts most loyal and strongest supporters.
It was exactly this memory as bad as It was that Neville used when he returned to a Hogwarts invaded by Death Eaters and he needed to be strong.
He chose this memory because he had heard his parents were strong, brave and great but he had thought when he was younger than that meant fearless something that wasn't true they felt fear but they ignored it for the greater good.
So when at seventeen the same curse that was used in his parents years ago is used on him, again and again, he does exactly as his parents did so long ago he stands tall, proud and doesn't allow even the smallest of screams to get past his lips something his parents couldn't do in fear that the Death Eaters would turn the curse on him.
All he does is smirk at the offending Death Eater, in fact, Neville doesn't even speak why would he when he won't tell him anything important.
After all, he is his parents' son and will fight until the very end even if it meant ending up like them.
His parents were strong and brave but he is stronger and braver than them making his parents really proud of the man he became.
