So, I couldn't resist writing some cute little drabbles or oneshots for these two pieces of sunshine. I have a similar thing for my two loves Carter and Reese, so why not for my two new loves. I don't mind prompts and if I like one I might end up writing it. You'll know when these are set since I'm going to give a little timeline before each story. Other characters will make their way into these but they'll just add to what's happening with Jared and Michaela.

Setting: Pre-Flight 828 and Pre-Evie's death with established Jared/Michaela

Disclaimer: I don't own anything still.

It was her family's annual barbecue and Ben's turn to host. Family meant everything to the Stones and the fact that her parents wanted Jared to become a part of it wasn't a hidden secret. Nor was the fact that they wanted her to eventually host the barbecue after she put down roots. Eventually Michaela would be happy playing hostess rather than an attendee but for now this was perfect.

She looked at Jared innocently as they both scoured the backyard lawn. "Did you find Olive's bracelet?" she called out as she inched closer to the garden hose.

"No, is Olive sure she lost it around here?" he asked.

"Uh-huh," Michaela sounded unwilling to feel the slightest bit guilty over the fact that Jared was utterly sweet in wanting to find Olive's apparent lost bracelet. He really was the greatest boyfriend ever. She turned the water on before grabbing the sprayer and aimed it his way. "Babe, I think I found it!" she called out.

"Yea?" Jared looked up and that's when Michaela struck. She sprayed him right in the face and he let out a shout of surprise and she laughed when she shut the water off and he stood still water dripping down his face falling from his chin. Laughter rang out from her family as they couldn't help but watch the two with amusement.

Jared finally met her gaze. "Olive didn't lose her bracelet, did she?" he questioned as he ran a hand over his face to wipe at the water.

"Nothing gets by you, officer," she said teasingly, trying hard to stifle her laughter but couldn't manage it.

Jared's handsome face broke out into a grin and Michaela realized she was in trouble the moment he lunged for her. She squealed as she tore off running. "You can run but you can't hide, Mick!" he shouted which earn giggles from Cal and Olive, who decided to give chase along with Jared.

Michaela didn't notice her mother watching them, with a knowing smile on her face, as she ran past her with Jared and the kids hot on her trail. "I can't wait to help plan our baby girl's wedding." she murmured to Steve.

Steve looked away from the grill and grinned widely at his wife. "They do remind me of you and I when we were young." he agreed. "And look at us now."

Karen looked around the yard and felt pride swell inside her. "Look at us now." she repeated with love in her voice.

AN: They're not all going to be happy but I couldn't resist family fluff as being the first one :) I'll try to post often but I can't guarantee how often that'll be.

Thank you for reading!
