It was a standard mission.

Extermination.

There was a large number of Grimm gathering in an emtpy town. They weren't that strong, so two first year teams were sent to clear the town.

The teams found something off with the Grimm, they kept attacking nothing, they would jump and snarl at nothing.

Or, at least that's what the teams thought.

When they were done, they gathered in the abandoned town hall. They heard a sound, and went to investigate the basement.

As the teams split up to search the room, they found a mirror.

A Mirror that didn't reflect them.

{Line Break.}

The teams were scattered around the room.

Pyrrha was the one who choose to investigate the anomaly.

Ruby, Nora and Blake, on her left. Weiss, Yang and Ren, on her right. Jaune stood behind her.

The Mirror stood in front of her, some force calling them to it.

As she got closer, her faint reflection became apparent.

She felt a stronger pull, and reached her hand to the Mirror.

It cracked upon contact.

She didn't hear her friends' concerned shouts, she pushed her hand harder against the Mirror. It went through.

Then the Mirror shattered in a expolsion of silver, mercury and glass.

Jaune woke up in Beacon's infirmary, missing his right arm, in the beds around him laid Ruby, Nora and Blake, all unconscious.

He spent the whole day in shock from the news he got.

Then he went back to sleep.

Pyrrha woke up to the sounds of a bustling town, without any arms, In a world without anymore Grimm.

{Prologue End.}

Inspired by "Awake" by Samtastic 3.0, I didn't know about [Awake] before that.

I liked the idea of living in two realities.

One other thing, I hate Pyrrha.

I'm trying not to let my hatred get in the way of writing her, but no can do.

So, here I had her 'die' for a reason.

Jaune is going to be busy helping others, but secretly, he's going to be angsting about being the only one who really lost someone.

Pyrrha is now in a world where the Grimm were defeated generations ago, and she wasn't born. I'll be adding updates on her at the bottom of every chapter.

*Nora pouts about the chapter being fixed.*
