Saturday morning came around and Jade was more than happy to sleep in after the active night that she had had with V;she would've been content just to spend her entire day relaxing in bed. That luxurious opportunity was taken away by the sudden knock at her bedroom door. She groaned and stood up, covering herself with her black robe as she walked towards the door.

"It's great that you guys finally learned to knock." She began, reaching for the handle. "But I was trying to relax-" Her sentence cut off as she swung open the door to see, not her sister or mother at the door, but Beck. She crossed her arms over her chest, suddenly feeling a lot more exposed. She knew that Beck had seen her naked before, but it was different now. "What are you doing here Beck?" She turned her back, leaving the door open for him.

Jade quickly went to her dresser and started pulling random clothing from the drawers, wanting to put something on to cover up more. She heard Beck clear his throat, as if he felt awkward. "You wanna maybe turn around?" She sassed. His eyes went wide as he quickly whipped around.

She pulled on an old band shirt and a pair of shorts while she listened to him talk. "Um, Cat heard about this huge sale at Wanko's tomorrow, so we were going to camp out tonight to beat the lines and get the good deals. I wanted to know if you wanted to join us, since the whole gang is going." She turned back around to see Beck with his back to her and looking up at the ceiling, his hand rubbing the back of his neck.

She smiled at his courtesy, "I'm dressed, you can look now." He slowly turned to face, and smiled when his eyes met hers. "So what's the big deal, it's just a sale, why do we have to camp out for it?"

He smiled at her. That stupid boyish smile that she fell in love with so long ago. It didn't have that effect on her anymore. Now she just felt at ease, and it made her happy that they might still be able to be friends again without those feelings getting in the way. "Well they're celebrating their 50th anniversary, and apparently they are having crazy sales. Like everything is at least 50% off, some stuff is even up to 90% off!"

Her eyes widened. Wanko's was a department store and had deals on all the time, but usually just small ones, so this was unheard of. "Damn. So are we going to be pitching a tent and sleeping outside to wait in line? Cause you know how much I hate camping, even if it's not real camping." She crossed her arms over her chest.

He laughed, "Yeah, I know you hate camping. We were thinking it would be more like a slumber party since we're planning on staying the night inside." He smirked. For a moment she was proud of the gang for planning on breaking into a store, she had obviously been rubbing off on them.

"And how are you planning on breaking in?" She wanted to see how much of this plan had been thought out.

"We're going to go in before the store closes, find everything that we want for the next day and hide it. Then we'll all find somewhere to hide while the store closes and they do their lock up." He smiled proudly, like it was his child. "Once everyone is out, we're going to stay up all night playing games, messing around , and watching movies on their TV displays." He laughed to himself.

"Sounds like you have it all planned out. What time are you guys going?" She asked, trying not to sound too invested, she did still have a reputation to uphold.

"Well the store is closing at nine tonight, so we were going to meet up around eight and get hidden around eight thirty." He smiled and took a step towards her, "So what do you say bad girl, wanna break into a store with us?"

She rolled her eyes at him. "Only because I like doing illegal things, not cause you're asking." She said, pointing a finger at him. He just smiled wider.

"I would never dream of assuming it was because of me." Beck had started walking towards the open door, when he paused and looked over his shoulder, "If anything, I would assume it was because Tori is coming." Her eyes bulged and she quickly ran towards the door slamming it before he could walk through it.

"What is that supposed to mean?" She cringed as Cat's famous words came flowing out of her mouth.

"Woah, nothing, I didn't mean anything!" Beck quickly defended, hands flying up in surrender.

"Don't pull that shit Beckett, you said it and you had a reason, now spill before I go and find my scissors." She threatened, poking him in the chest hard.

"Ow okay, geeze, if I knew you were going to be this sensitive about it I wouldn't have said anything." He rubbed at his chest.

"Beckett." She growled, trying to stop his stalling.

"It just seems you and Tori have gotten closer as friends lately, and well I know you Jade. I can see the way you look at her. It's the same way you used to look at me." His voice was soft and understanding, but Jade felt panicked. She never expected anyone to know about this, not any time soon at least.

"Who else knows!" She demanded.

"No one, it's just me Jade. It's okay you know, to like her." She was pacing the room as Beck tried to reassure her. "And if it helps any, I think she likes you too." Jade stopped and stared at him.

"You think?" She tried to hold back her smile.

He smiled and patted her on the shoulder, "Yeah, I don't think you've noticed, but she stares at you a lot." He smirked. "I think you guys would be good together, if you ever get the courage to ask her out that is. God knows she'll never ask you out, she's probably scared you'd stab her again if you did."

She glared, the moment went from sweet to annoying really quickly. "It was an accident! Now get out before I 'accidentally' stab you too!" He just laughed and opened the door again.

He was halfway out when he turned back to face her. "I'm glad that we can talk like this again." He smiled and quickly drew her in for a hug. She rolled her eyes but hugged him back.

"Okay enough mushy stuff, get your ass out of here, I've got stuff I need to do if we're going to be out all night." She lightly pushed him towards the door and he chuckled.

"See you later Jade." He called over his shoulder.

With what Beck had told her, she was trying to think of the best way to mend her friendship with Tori. They hadn't talked since the incident in the desert, and Jade missed her. Seeing her tonight was just the push she needed to make things right. She pulled out her phone and quickly typed a message.

Hey, I'm sorry about the desert. It really was a shortcut, I didn't mean to scare you. But seeing you so scared of me, it was like a punch in the gut, I forgot that this is still a new friendship and I haven't always been the nicest to you. I hope you can forgive me, I'm trying to be better for you.

Jade took a deep breath and hit send. It was a lot of emotion all out in the open, but she knew that it was necessary to mend this. Jade hated being the bigger person. She hated the uncertainty that came with waiting for a reply.

Instead of dwelling on it, she decided she should keep herself busy, and finished up some homework since she was going to be out all night. By the time she finished, she picked her phone back up and noticed two new messages, One from Tori, and one from V. Jade gulped. Up until this point , she had never had to deal with both "sides" of Tori at the same time.

She opened the one from V first.

Good Morning Mistress, you wore me out last night, I'm only just getting up now.

~V

Jade smirked.

Hmmm, I'm glad you had a good time baby girl, I did too, I can't wait to play again.

~J

Jade then looked to the message from Tori.

Thank you, it means a lot that you understand that I'm still getting used to nice Jade, but I will get there, I promise. I know you're not as big and scary as you seem, you're a softie on the inside.

Jade smiled, it worked. They were back on track.

You're the only one who thinks I'm a softie so I'd rethink your opinion.

The message back was almost instant.

So you're only a softie for me? I must be special ;)

Jade's heart fluttered.

Maybe. Don't let it go to your head.

A message from V came in at the same time she hit send.

What are you doing tonight?

~V

Going out with some friends, why?

~J

She was curious, Tori was supposed to be going with them tonight so why was she asking if she was free as V? That led to some dirty thoughts on Jade's part, realizing that Tori wanted to play discreetly while with their friends. Fuck, that was hot.

A new message came in.

I'll see you tonight?

Jade smiled.

Definitely, I wouldn't miss it

~J

She hit send, and only after she saw that it had gone through did she realize her mistake. She signed off on that text. "Shit." Her stomach was in her throat. This is not how she wanted Tori to find out. A new message came in from Tori. She didn't want to look, but she knew she would have to face the music

Great, I can't wait :)

That was it? All that she had to say? Jade couldn't quite believe it, but she wasn't going to push her luck. She put her phone away, not wanting to look at it for the rest of the day.

Jade drove up to Wanko's warehouse a little past eight and turned her car off. She looked around and spotted the gang plus Trina already gathered in the long line that was outside. They didn't appear to be getting comfortable like the rest of the people in line, and Jade knew they must be waiting on her before they made their way into the store.

She quickly grabbed her backpack from the back seat which had a few essentials for the night. She slowly walked up to the group, just watching Tori from behind. She was laughing at something that Andre must have said, and the wonderful sound made Jade smile.

"Okay, the party is here, let's do this thing." She announced as she walked up, lightly tapping Tori on the shoulder as she came up next to her. She watched Tori smile at her sheepishly, and she couldn't help but smile back, feeling like they were back on track. Just as quickly as it came though, she replaced it with her trademark smirk as she looked at the others in the group.

"Great let's go inside, we can pick out everything that we want!" Andre said, excitedly bounding towards the front entrance of the store. Everyone laughed at his excitement, but followed behind him, all of them with a bag slung over their shoulder.

For a group of theater kids that did acting all day, everyday, this group was horrible at being inconspicuous. Beck was walking around, pointing at random things trying to act interested, but just took it over the top. Tori was whistling and waltzing down the aisles. And Cat was just giggling and running around. Jade sighed. How did she end up with this group of losers?

After about five minutes once they had all successfully made their way to the storage section it was time for their plan. "Okay weirdo's, find a cupboard or bin to hide in, and make sure it's comfortable, you'll be in there for about thirty minutes." Jade announced to the group.

Beck turned and grabbed Cat's hand, "I'll help you find somewhere Cat, next to me so you know you're not alone." Jade thought that seemed odd that Beck was immediately volunteering to help Cat, maybe he had started to have feelings for her. If so, good for him.

She shook her head and quickly found her own hiding spot in a display wardrobe. It only took about five minutes for her to get bored out of her mind and pull her phone from her pocket. She had every intention of texting Tori, but found that there was already a message from Tori waiting for her. She tried to fight the wide smile that found its way to her face but it was no use.

How much longer do you think we have to hide in here, I'm getting a little claustrophobic in this storage bin :(

Her heart twinged at the thought of Tori not faring well in her hiding spot.

We have another fifteen minutes at least. Can you make it that long, or do you need to be rescued?

Pshh I don't need rescuing, what am I some sort of helpless princess?

The message back came quick. Jade couldn't help but smirk, a dirty thought quickly running through her mind. She shook the thought from her mind and decided some light teasing might help keep Tori's mind off being scared.

I mean I wouldn't say you were helpless, but definitely a princess.

How dare you, just for that, I'm not texting you anymore. Have fun in your wardrobe without me!

A second message from Tori came rather quickly.

Good Day!

Jade rolled her eyes at Tori's dramatics. She put her phone away and peeked out through the slight crack in the doors of the wardrobe. She saw that the coast was clear and quietly opened them. She climbed out and ran two aisles over, making sure not to be seen. She quickly found the bin that she helped Vega to climb into ten minutes earlier and opened it.

"I didn't mean to do it, I swear it was peer pressure!" Tori said, shielding her face.

"Shut the fuck up Vega or we'll both get caught for real!" Jade whispered harshly as she yanked Tori from the bin.

"Jade, what are you doing!" Tori squealed and Jade just placed her hand over Tori's mouth and began dragging her back to the wardrobe she was in moments earlier. Once getting there without being noticed, Jade threw Tori into the wardrobe and climbed in after her, closing the doors.

Jade pulled out her phone so there was some light to highlight Tori's face. Jade smiled sweetly at Tori, "Now I get to have fun in my wardrobe with you." Jade waggled her eyebrows and held back a laugh at Tori's face.

"Really Jade! All of that just for a stupid joke!" Tori was playfully hitting Jade.

"Hey rude, I did all of that so you wouldn't be so claustrophobic and eventually get us all busted. The joke was just too good to pass up." Jade crossed her arms and gave a dramatic pout.

She watched as Tori visibly softened and gave her a warm smile. Jade didn't want to admit it, but that smile gave her butterflies.

"Thanks Jade, this definitely helps, but just texting you was helping too." Tori said, staring into Jade's eyes. Jade felt her cheeks warm and was grateful for the darkness to cover something so un-Jade like.

Jade cleared her throat and looked down to where her feet should be but all she saw was darkness. "Yeah well, it's nothing. Tonight would suck if we had to leave because you were having a panic attack." She tried to shrug it off.

"Well it means a lot to me." Jade felt Tori grab her hand and squeeze it.

Just then the wardrobe doors burst open and both girls screamed in surprise (though Jade would deny it.) As her eyes adjusted to the light, Jade noticed that it was just Beck.

"You two done making out so we can do some shopping?" Beck smirked, Jade glared and punched him in the arm, hard. Tori's entire face was red with embarrassment.

"Ignore him, he's just being an asshole cause he thinks it's cute." Jade grabbed Tori's hand and dragged her around Beck to where the rest of the gang was waiting. "Everyone got their shopping lists?" Jade asked and watched as the group all nodded. "Great, then I'll meet you losers all back here in an hour." With that Jade turned around, with every intent of dragging Vega with her, but the hand that she had in hers held her back.

"Do I get my hand back now Jade, I would like to go shopping too you know." Tori asked, giving a small smile. Jade's cheeks warmed.

"Oh, yeah, I just thought- nevermind." Jade quickly let go of Tori's hand and turned on her heel walking away quickly.

"Jade I didn't mean-" Jade was around a corner and down an aisle before she could even hear the rest of what Tori was going to say.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid." Jade muttered under her breath, moving up and down the aisles without seeing what was on the shelves. After three aisles, she figured she should probably find the things she came for. She shook her head to clear it of thoughts of Tori, and pulled her phone from her pocket to see what she needed.

She wanted to get a gift for Julian's birthday that was coming up in two weeks. She started with that, quickly finding herself in the toy section. She knew he would love anything that she got him, but she figured something they could do together might be nice. She quickly found the lego section and picked out two medium bins, one with large blocks for him right now, and one with smaller blocks for when he was older.

She also needed some more yarn as she was working on knitting her mother a throw blanket, a secret hobby that she would never admit to. She knew the sales that would be on in the morning would mean she could easily buy enough yarn for the rest of the project.

Last on the list, lingerie. She wanted something nice for Tori. She had been thinking a lot about finally admitting the truth to Vega, and when she did, she figured being in nice lingerie that showed off her body might ease any anger that Tori would have.

She found the lingerie section easily, and began looking through the different options. She usually wore black because it stood out against her pale skin, but knew that something different, something special was in order. She had found a beautiful dark green set that she was really into when a voice startled her from her browsing.

"Hey Jade! That's so pretty!" Cat squealed as she bounded over. "Wait, why are you buying lingerie?" Jade winced at her loud voice. She didn't need anyone in the group knowing about her private life, let alone the one who wouldn't be able to keep it a secret.

"I'm just looking, Cat. I like having pretty things sometimes." She tried to brush her off, and walk away like she wasn't actually interested in buying anything.

"Are you seeing someone?" Cat had wide eyes and seemed like she was vibrating from excitement.

"No Cat, I'm not dating anyone, just leave it and let's go back to the group." Jade said, walking away from the lingerie section and back towards their meetup point, knowing she'd have to come back and get what she wanted in the morning. As they neared back to the group, she could see the others also beginning to gather.

"Everyone done their shopping?" Beck asked the group, dropping his own items by his bag for the night. Everyone in the group voiced their agreement and started setting up sleeping bags and other items they had brought to stay the night. Robbie had brought one of his board games, and the group decided that that was the best thing to do next. They all sat in a circle on the ground, and Jade couldn't help but notice how Tori chose to sit as far away from her as she could.

After two rounds of Ticket to Ride, Jade vetoed a third round, stating it was a miracle the first two rounds even occurred. Tori then brought out her deck of cards to play poker, that was until Rex suggested strip poker. Beck waggled his eyebrows at that as if it was a good idea. Jade didn't even need to say anything to that, Tori had already put the cards away herself.

"Well what are we going to do then?" Andre asked looking around the group for other suggestions.

"Hide and seek!" Cat quickly suggested and the entire group groaned.

"Cat you always get scared when we play hide and seek because you forget you're supposed to be hiding by yourself." Tori explained nicely. Jade would have just shouted no, but Vega's way involved less crying.

"How about Truth or Dare?" Trina suggested.

"How old are we? This isn't a middle school slumber party, get better idea's Other Vega." Jade complained. Looking around the group though, she seemed like she was the only one that had a problem with it. "Oh you can't be serious."

"Why not, we got nothing better to do, who knows it could be fun." Beck smirked as if he had something planned. Jade didn't like that at all. Unfortunately, everyone else seemed to agree with him.

"I can't believe you guys are serious." Jade muttered as she rolled her eyes. The group ignored their grumpy goth friend and Trina started the game.

"Beck, truth or dare?" Trina was smiling wide, as if she had just won the lottery.

"That didn't take long." Tori muttered just loud enough for all to hear and Jade chuckled at the remark.

"Truth." Beck said, obviously uncomfortable with the intentions of the older Vega sister. Trina deflated at his choice, but continued anyway.

"If you had to pick one of the girls here to date, besides Jade, which girl would it be?" Trina asked, looking for any hope she might have.

"Uh, I guess if I had to choose I'd say Tori." Beck said, rubbing the back of his neck. Jade whipped her head to her right and glared at him where he sat next to her. He knew that she liked Tori and yet he would go and say that. Some friend he was. He met her eyes, "What, we're not together anymore!" He said as if confused by her glare. Everyone must be seeing the typical jealousy glare and think she was jealous of Beck's choosing someone at all. But it was the fact that it was Tori.

Jade shifted her glare from her ex boyfriend to see how Tori reacted and noticed a blush on her cheeks. Jade was fuming.

"Okay, my turn to ask. Cat, truth or dare?" Beck awkwardly moved past the angry Jade and continued the game.

"Dare!" Cat said bouncing in excitement from her spot on the ground next to Tori.

"Okay, I dare you to give Trina a foot massage for a full minute." Everyone cringed at the dare that Beck gave. However, Cat followed through. After Trina removed her shoes and socks, Robbie timed her as she gave Trina a foot massage, a disgusted look on her face the entire time. At the end of her time, Tori offered Cat some hand sanitizer and a sympathetic look.

As soon as she was settled, Cat looked around the circle and her eyes landed on Jade. "Jade, truth or dare?" Jade rolled her eyes, not enthused about participating.

"Truth." She called out lazily.

"I would have pegged you for always taking the dare Jade." Tori challenged and Jade was just peeved enough that she missed the teasing look on Tori's face.

"Well Vega, some of us aren't happy to play this game and don't want to move for something so stupid." She snapped. Tori's eyes widened, not prepared for Jade's venom to be pointed at her. "Get it over with Cat." Cat squeaked.

"Uh, who were you buying lingerie for earlier?" Jade clenched her jaw. There was no way she was revealing that to the entire group before she had even talked to Tori. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Beck raise an eyebrow at her.

"No one, I was just looking while I waited for the rest of you to finish up." She lied smoothly. The group seemed to believe her and were ready to move on.

Half an hour later, the group was still playing. Beck had lost his shirt when Trina dared him. Robbie had admitted, to no one's surprise, that he liked Cat. Tori had recounted the awkward story of how she had lost her virginity. Andre gave a list of the girls he had dated and also who was the best in bed. Jade did admit that she liked someone, but threatened anyone that dared to ask who it was.

The group had avoided asking Trina any truths or dares because they always went back to her wanting Beck. But after two rounds of everyone being asked but her, Robbie caved. Giving Trina the chance to ask the next truth or dare. Everyone was surprised when Trina turned to Tori instead of Beck this round. "Truth or Dare Tori?"

"Dare I guess." The smirk that Trina had after that response was worrisome.

"Okay little sister, since Beck here thinks you're so great and wants to date you, why don't you go and give him a kiss." Trina shot a look over to Jade who was fuming. If Jade wasn't seeing red, then maybe she would have figured out that Trina was trying to rile her up.

"Trina I don't think that's a good idea, Jade is my friend, I don't want to hurt her." Tori tried to prevent the dare.

"A dare is a dare Tori, who cares what Jade thinks." Trina pushed.

"Go on Vega, kiss him, it's just a dare afterall right." Jade egged on, too angry to see that she was just going to hurt herself.

She watched as Tori took a deep breath in and out before crawling her way across the circle. Tori was just in front of Beck, when she quickly changed direction, and her lips met Jade's instead. Jade's eyes widened before she sank into the kiss, her eyes closing and lips kissing back. For all of five seconds she was in heaven before her mind caught up with her.

Jade pulled away quickly, slapped Tori across the face and quickly moved her hand to Tori's throat. Jade's eyes were dark and they stared into Tori's brown pools and saw nothing but desire. Feeling bold, Jade tested the waters and lightly squeezed Tori's throat who leaned into it and whimpered just loud enough for only Jade to hear.

"Jade let her go!" Beck yelled, pushing Jade's hand away from Tori's neck. Jade broke from her trance and glared at Beck. Her brain caught up to her and she turned back to Tori in an attempt to cover up what just happened.

"No one touches me without permission." She spat lamely before walking away from the group. She walked two aisles over and leaned against the shelves. Her eyes closed and her breath was coming fast. "Shit." She muttered to herself. She could feel how turned on that made her. She felt like it was the last push she needed. She took her phone from her pocket and drafted a message to V from Mistress J.

I want to meet you.

Jade's hand hovered over the send button. Was she really ready for this? It was all or nothing now. She took a deep breath. "Jade?" Tori's voice rang out and Jade panicked. She shoved her phone into her pocket and turned just in time to see Tori look down the aisle she was in. "There you are."

Tori walked down the aisle and stopped in front of Jade, noticeably leaving a few feet of space between them. "I just wanted to apologize for that kiss." Tori didn't meet Jade's eyes and was fiddling with her hands. "You're my friend and I didn't want to hurt you by kissing your ex boyfriend, though, I think I've fudged things up more by kissing you."

Jade melted a little bit. With Tori in front of her, and no other prying eyes, she could let down some of her walls. "You haven't fudged anything up Vega. You just took me by surprise."

Tori looked up, her eyes filled with hope. "You mean it?" She even took a step towards Jade.

Jade just rolled her eyes, "Yes I mean it you dork. We're okay, I promise." She smiled at Tori who beamed back.

"Okay good. I don't know if I can handle having you hate me again." Jade watched as the nervousness came back. Tori fiddled with her hands more before wrapping them around herself. Then it clicked.

"Come here." Jade opened her arms out to Tori and watched as the brightest smile found its way onto her face before she plowed into Jade in a tight embrace. Jade had the wind knocked out of her at the impact, but she wrapped her arms around Tori anyway. She breathed in deeply, letting herself be enveloped by the smell of Tori's melon scented shampoo.

After a moment, Tori released Jade from the hug. They stayed close to each other, and now that Jade was staring at Tori's face, she could see that there was a red spot on Tori's cheek where she had been slapped. Jade cringed and reached out to touch the cheek. "I'm sorry about that, I shouldn't have hit you. I just always seem to be hurting you aren't I?" Jade frowned at the thought.

Tori reached up and covered Jade's hand on her cheek with her own, giving it a squeeze. "You always take care of me afterwards though." The moment was far more intimate than they had ever had. Jade wanted nothing more than to kiss Tori right here right now. The longer she stared into Tori's eyes, the more she felt herself starting to lean in to do just that.

"Hey Tori, you alright? Jade not hurting you again is she?" Andre's voice called down from the other end of the aisle. Jade quickly removed her hand and took a step back.

"No Andre, she's not hurting me, just the opposite." Tori called back with a scolding look on her face.

"Well let's get back to the others then, Trina thinks the game should continue and with you guys gone, Beck is undefended." He joked. Jade sighed and moved to walk around Tori, knowing the moment was ruined.

"We're coming." Jade sighed, and started to follow Andre back to the group, Tori not far behind her.

After they called it quits on truth or dare, most of the group (minus Trina) decided that it was a good idea to get some sleep as they had to wake up before the staff showed up in the morning.

It wasn't until everyone else was asleep, and Jade was tossing and turning, that she remembered the message she was going to send.

I want to meet you.

It glowed in front of her eyes and her finger hovered over the send button. She chanced a glance over at Tori's sleeping form, and saw how beautiful and peaceful she looked. The small chance that Tori liked her back was worth it. She turned back to her phone, and hit send.
