Kuroko groans softly as his consciousness slowly come back to his kind-of-numb body. With some extra efforts, he opens his eyes, blinking a few times. When he finally succeeded to open his eyes, the view that greets him almost make him want to lose consciousness again.

There, seated on a chair in front of him, is Akashi. Smiling widely till his heterochromatic eyes shaped like two inverted crescent moons.

Smiling, while holding Kagami's decapitated head right in front of him.

Immediately, horror-stricken screams almost came out of Kuroko's mouth.

Almost?

If only Kuroko was able to really let out his screams, he undoubtedly will. But he can't.

Unfortunately, the fact that Kuroko's mouth was gagged with something metallic make him unable to do that. All he can emits was a pitiable wail.

Seeing his beloved Tetsuya's reaction, Akashi giggled-fucking giggled! -. With no care, he tosses Kagami's head behind him, near Kagami's beaten and bloody body.

Still letting out some wails, Kuroko's widened eyes look helplessly at Kagami's body-and his decapitated head- behind Akashi. Shocked beyond belief was an understatement for how Kuroko really feel right now.

His roommate, his close friend, his best friend, who had warned him that Akashi is a dangerous demented guy-which he didn't believe until now-, was now laying there, beaten and decapitated till his last breath,

Overwhelmed by his tragic situation, unstoppable tears fall from Kuroko's eyes, drenching his cheeks wet.

"Ah, don't cry, Tetsuya! Shh… shh… I hate it when my Tetsuya is crying. There… there… I'm here… I'm here now… No one can come in between us now… shh… shh…"

Kuroko was a little surprised when he feels Akashi strokes his head gently, standing too close to him-till Kuroko can feels Akashi's hot breath on his skin.

Unwilling to let the read-haired devil getting so close to him and touching him, Kuroko shakes his head quickly and try to distant his body from Akashi, thou he can't get enough distance between him and Akashi since he is currently tied up in a leather chair.

Not allowing any space to come in between him and his beloved Tetsuya, Akashi erases the space-no matter how small it was- between him and Tetsuya, hugging him tightly, relieved that he can finally claim his Tetsuya entirely.

Disgusted, Kuroko try to move his body with violent movement, but to no avail. Instead, Akashi's hug keeps getting tighter.

Rocking Kuroko's shakings body back and forth, Akashi coos softly to calm his Tetsuya.

After a few moments of Akashi's hug and Kuroko's unwillingness to be touched by Akashi, Akashi finally released Kuroko. On his knees in front of Kuroko, Akashi smiles softly while touching Kuroko with-I kid you not- a bloody hand, caressing Kuroko's cheek with said hand. Ignoring Kuroko's wriggles when he did that.

"Finally… Finally we can be together again, Tetsuya… I won't let anyone to come in between us again… I promise…" Akashi said softly, still smiling happily at Kuroko.

Kuroko was about to wriggle more to get Akashi's body away from him, till he froze when he heard Akashi's statement.

Again…?

Unable to understand what Akashi means, Kuroko stare at Akashi, with tearful eyes filled with questions.

Did they ever meet before…?

But because the feeling of agony still dominates him, Kuroko dismiss that curiosity. Wriggling his body even more, Kuroko tried to get some needed space between him and the devil in front of him, glancing at Kagami's corpse while doing so.

Realizing that his Tetsuya keep giving some glances to the -for Akashi- corpse of the worthless bastard, Akashi finally understand what's troubling Kuroko right now. No shit

Chuckling a little-which startle Kuroko-, Akashi stares softly at Kuroko, smiling full of humor. What's so funny, you demented devil?!

"Aaah… I see… So you've been wondering how am I able to get rid of that obstacle, eh? Since you know that removing that obstacle is not easy. Well, okay. I'll tell you in detail about how I can successfully get rid of that obstacle from between us."

And all Kuroko can do is sitting there, listening to Akashi's method of murdering his best friend, feeling more and more horrified.

-Flashback-

Kagami sighed in relief as soon as he gets inside his first classroom for today.

'Heh, so the lecturer hasn't come yet, eh? Lucky me'

Just as he was about to sit on the nearest chair, his pocket suddenly buzzes, signaling a new message in his mobile phone.

'Is it Aomine?'

But when he opens his phone, the notification there make him freeze.

-A new message from Kuroko-

Immediately, Kagami opens the message, and almost curse when he read it.

'Kagami, I'm scared. I think Akashi-kun is trying to get into our apartment forcefully. Please come back now. I'm so scared'

Instantly, Kagami grab his bag and hastily move to get out of the class, ignoring the curious glances from his classmates.

Halfway to his destination, still running as fast as he can, Kagami can't help but wonders, 'Since when did Kuroko didn't add some honorific to my name?'.

But he dismisses that thought when he thinks that Kuroko is too scared right now to act just like Kuroko in usual. Oh, really?

Not too long, Kagami arrives in the floor his apartment was in the apartment complex. Glancing uneasily at the apartment in front of his, Kagami almost broke the door when he forcefully open it.

"KUROKO!?"

In panic, Kagami search for Kuroko in all of the rooms in their apartment, but he failed to find him.

"Kuroko…?"

Just as Kagami was about to grab his phone to call Kuroko, suddenly he feels something hard slam on his head roughly.

With blurry eyes, Kagami saw 'red' holding a steel rod.

Then everything becomes black.

-A few hours later-

Groggily, Kagami groans when his consciousness come back.

'Shit, my head hurts!'

Still trying to collect all of his awareness, Kagami try to see all of his surroundings.

But as he turns his head to look what's in front of him, he froze.

There, right in front of him, was an unconscious Kuroko, gagged with something metal and tied to a leather chair. To make it even worse, Akashi was right there, kneeling in front of Kuroko while cooing and kissing the light blue-haired hostage.

As soon as he saw that, Kagami's body starts to try to move in panic, only now realizing that he too, is tied up and gagged.

When Akashi hears some sounds coming from the-in Akashi's opinion- annoying obstacle, he turns his head and meet Kagami's glare with a cold stare. Exhaling tiredly, Akashi gets up from his position and start walking toward Kagami.

Seeing Akashi walking toward him, Kagami wriggle more in his seat.

Now standing right in front of Kagami, Akashi stare blankly at him. But suddenly and unexpectedly, Akashi delivers a kick to Kagami's body roughly.

-kick!-

Kagami hissed when he feels the impact of Akashi's single kick. Godammit, it's so fucking hurt!

Not stopping just with one kick, Akashi kicks Kagami again and again. Until Kagami lays limp on the floor, breathing tiredly and hurtfully.

Kagami groans softly receiving many blows from Akashi. God, he feels so sore now.

-kick!-

After giving one last kick to Kagami, Akashi finally stop. Breathing hardly, Akashi glare at Kagami. His eyes are full of hate and disgust. While Kagami just whimpers weakly on the ground, tears starting to fall from his eyes. His whole body feels hurt! He's certain that is body is filled with bruised right now.

But instead of pity, when Akashi saw Kagami crying, he feels more enraged. How dare he! How dare this worthless obstacle act as if he's in sorrow when he's the one who confine his Tetsuya with hidden sorrow so selfishly?! HOW DARE HE!

Full of rage, Akashi pulls Kagami's head harshly to look at him right in the eyes. Not caring when Kagami winced because he was treated so harshly, Akashi stated, with a cold voice,'You imbecile. How could you act as if you're in pain now? Even more, how dare you think that you don't deserve to feel a lot of pain? How dare you?!'

Still glaring at Kagami, suddenly Akashi smiles. And Kagami feels that he's doomed when he sees that smile.

Oh how right he is.

Because Akashi suddenly release him carelessly, making him groan when he feels so much pain as he hit the ground. But Akashi just dismiss him and walking to the small table at the corner of the room, looking for something. And when Akashi found it, he smiles in delight and grab it immediately. And Kagami was terrified when he sees what Akashi holds.

An axe.

Urgently, Kagami wriggles using his full power, trying to free himself out of the rope that tied him. But no luck.

Walking back calmly to Kagami, Akashi grins widely at the terrified look Kagami gave him.

'Oh… Don't worry, Kagami-kun… Since even though you're a fake 'friend' of Tetsuya, Tetsuya still truly do care about you… I don't want to hurt my Tetsuya's feeling by letting those he care for feels pain for so long… So I will liberate you from those pains…" Akashi coos. And then he giggles.

He fucking giggles.

In horror, Kagami saw as Akashi raise the axe highly, right above Kagami's head.

'I will liberate you from those pain eternally…'

For a split second, all Kagami could think was, 'Don't let him defeat you, Kuroko…'

Then everything went black.

-Flashback End-

Kuroko feels more and more tears come out of his eyes as he heard Akashi's narration. His brain becomes blank. His heart feels as if a million knives stab it repeatedly.

And Akashi?

Well, Akashi just smiles widely at Kuroko, his hand wiping Kuroko's cheeks from the tears-even though it's useless, since the tears fell from Kuroko's eyes over and over again-.

Gently, Akashi hugs Kuroko's body, shushing and cooing to him.

"It's okay, Tetsuya. Now that the direct obstacle is already eliminated, no one will be able to come in between us anymore. No one"

All Kuroko can do is crying there.

There's not only one 'obstacle', Akashi…
