Sans looked across the snow-covered town. Snowdin. His home. Sans felt his left eye socket twitch, streaks of blue pouring out. He didn't want to do this. But he knew he had to tell him.
Sans sprinted through the icy sleet, gelid wind cutting at his face. He ran for what seemed like hours - more like days. Or months… He sighed, tip-toeing into his house. Sans slipped on his signature cheshire grin, and snuck his hands into his coat pockets.
"Papyrus!" Sans called, his hands curling tightly against his hips. He exhaled in relief when he saw his beloved brother scramble down the stairs.
"What is it?" Papyrus asked, bouncing on the balls of his feet. Sans felt his grin falter and he took in a deep breath.
"Papyrus… I need to tell you something…" Sans murmured as he zipped open his jacket. Before Papyrus could ask any questions, he firmly grasped Papyrus's wrist and pressed it against stomach.
"Wha-"
"I'm pregnant… With your child." He looked up to Papyrus's face. It was shrouded with an unfamiliar look. Sans's arm trembled as he waited for a response.
"owo" Papyrus stammered, sprinting away. Sans watched, tears brimming in his eyes sockets as his soulmate became a small figure against the distance.
