"Naruto! Get back here. We're not going for ramen till you finish the homework." Sakura shrieked.

"Aww, Sakura-chan. I'm hungry. And nii-chan said he was going to wait for me at Ichiraku's. You heard him." The baka whined.

"He didn't say he was going to wait for you. He said he had a date and was hinting at you to stay away." Boys, really. "Besides, do you want to graduate early or not? Iruka-sensei is never going to let you take the progression test if you don't submit your homework tomorrow." She

Following the debacle at the Forest of Death, Sakura had somehow become friends with both Naruto and Sasuke-kun. Sharing a life threatening experience was perhaps a factor in that.

All three of them had decided to try for early graduation; Naruto because he wanted to become chunnin as soon as possible to know about his mom, Sasuke because he wanted to become like his brother and Sakura because she didn't want to be left behind.

Their biggest challenge was bringing Naruto's grades up to a level where he could atleast be considered for early advancement. Sasuke-kun and Sakura were smart, but they were not prepared for the trials of getting Naruto to study.

"This is so boring. Why do we have to write an essay on the previous Hokage's anyway. When I become Hokage, I will surpass them all anyway. Then everyone will only have to learn about the great Uzumaki Naruto." Naruto boasted.

Sakura, with great patience, resisted hitting the baka on head. She done that once when Shisui-san was near, and the resulting lecture about respecting fellow shinobi and the disappointed face left Sakura almost in tears. He did have a point, though. Just because Naruto was stupid didn't give her the right to hit him over the head. Actually, that might even make him stupider. But sometimes the idiot said foolish things... Naruto, a Hokage, only when the sky falls over.

Worse was the fact that Shisui-san actually encouraged his brother's delusions. Since he was not aware of the fact that Hokage-sama had promised Naruto to tell him about his mother once he became chunnin, due to the meeting being declared an classified, he didn't have much ammunition to motivate him except with ramen or the 'a Hokage would need to know that' incentive. And he used that regularly. No wonder Naruto believed he could actually become Hokage.

Hokage were the strongest shinobi in the village. Naruto might be getting a bit stronger with all the help he was getting, but he was still not capable of reading a book on his own. Hokage were supposed to be smart. Look at the Niidaime, Sakura thought, turning the page of her book. He invented so many jutsu. Or the Sandaime, he is known as the Professor. The Yondaime, she turned another page, he has the highest score in the academy graduation exams ever. And he looked familiar.

"Dobe, are you done?" The door opened suddenly to reveal Sasuke-kun, interupting Sakura's thought process. "Mom has invited you to dinner. You too Sakura."

Sakura was torn between exhilaration of going to go to Sasuke-kun's house and meeting his family and irritation at him skipping a homework session with Naruto. The irritation won in the end.

"He is not done." She snapped. "He would've if you hadn't run off to train with your nii-san. If I hadn't come here to check up on you both, Naruto would have been going to the academy tomorrow without any homework."

Sasuke-kun had the audacity to look shocked. It would have looked cute if she wasn't so angry right now. "But nii-san told me that Shisui was helping the dobe with homework."

"Eehh, but nii-chan didn't help me with any of the Hokage essay stuff. He just told me a bunch of cool stuff about this guy called Minato and told me to write that down." Naruto scratched his head.

Sakura weathered the urge to facepalm. But the mention of the Yondaime brought back the string of thought- the Yondaime looked familiar. In fact, now that Naruto mentioned Shisui-san, he's the one that Sakura was reminded of when she looked at the Yondaime's photograph. Just replace his black hair and eyes with blonde and blue, he looked like a replica.

Wait!... Blonde hair and blue eyes... Naruto was Shisui-san's brother...
