Authors Note: I've been watching Boku no Hero Academia, and I love Naruto (well, Sakura) and there's a distinct lack of fanfics of the two so...this is basically Naruto characters...in Boku no Hero. Sakura is the hero of this story, I'll be using liberal amounts of the plot from the story of Buko, and twisting events from Naruo characters to fit my dreams for this story. I'll apologize in advance.

It's been many years since superheroes rose up to protect the Earth and its inhabitants since Quirks became a part of our everyday lives. However, as strong as the light is, the dark shall always be just as strong. With rising Heroes came rising Villains, hiding in the shadows, ready to wreak havoc on this world with their cruel ideals.

Once, there were three great Heroes, the greatest all the world had seen. Two men and a woman rose up from their teens to become the Heroes this world needed, appearing just in time to save thousands of people in the midst of tragedy. Their time together as a team was a shining, golden light on this world.

And then it all fell apart.

One of the men, his upbringing was harder than the other two, orphaned at a young age, alone for so many years, when darkness came calling for him he did not fight it, for it was already in his heart. In his flee from the light, he did the unthinkable, he fought against his team. The grueling battle lasted for three days and three nights and only ended when the woman's younger brother jumped in the way of what would have been a devastating blow.

The evil man went on to wreak havoc on the city, nearly burning it to the ground in the process.

The city know for it's Will of Fire, known for producing some of the strongest, best Pro Heroes in this world, the city home to UA Academy, the best Hero school of all, it suffered greatly.

That man's name was Orochimaru, he'll be back to finish what he started so many years ago, and when he comes the new generation of Heroes have to be ready.

We have to be ready.

Sakura Haruno is three when her city burns, three when her father died to protect her mother and herself, the man enough of a distraction to draw attention away from them so they could flee. Three years old when her world falls apart, and when she decides her lifelong goal.

Sakura Haruno is three when she looks into the eyes of Orochimaru and decides to be a hero.
