Suzanne wanted to know why David was so keen to represent Ray Luca.

"You know what he did", she reminded him, frustrated. " To your father. To you".

David looked at her, "You don't see the big picture," he told her, quietly. "If you did then you'd understand".

" Understand what?" Suzanne asked, desperatly. "What am I failing to understand?"

David sighed. "You don't..."

Suzanne cut him off. "David, don't patronize me", she snapped. " You despise everything that Ray Luca stands for, and what he does. And yet, you are protecting him?"

David nodded. "l know how it must look but you have to trust me. Trust in me", he told her, firmly. " You know me better than anyone, and one day, I promise you that you will understand".

Suzanne nodded. "I hope I do", she said, sadly. " Because the man standing in front of me is not the man that I fell in love with".
