Haru growled, pressing the buttons even harder-if possible-and he glared at the red-purple headed teen beside him through the corner of his eye.

Rin smirked, twisting the joystick to the far right and laughing evilly as Haru's car was knocked off the road.

Haru stared in shock and immediately took off as soon as his car reappeared. "Rin, you will pay for that."

"Sure, sure, if you can catch up." Rin pointed out with a smug look.

The two were playing a racing game. One they were...really getting in to, despite the fact that they didn't play video games often. Maybe it had something to do with their rivalry though. They weren't even paying attention to the other cars that were on the other whole side of the map. They only saw each other, and they only cared about getting to the finish line before the other did.

Thankfully for Haru, Rin was being a cocky idiot and wasn't paying attention enough, so he crashed into a wall. Still, he was pretty far ahead now, so it barely helped. Haru squinted, looking at the map on the corner of the screen. But maybe that delay mixed with a shortcut would get him right beside Rin again, if not a little ahead. He swerved into a shortcut then, and once he was out, he was right in front of Rin's car. He smirked proudly to himself.

Rin of course, growled. "Haru you idiot! I'll get you for that!"

"I'd like to see you try." Haru bit back. He saw the finish line just ahead, and tried to speed his car up even more. He had to get there in time.

Somehow, despite the fact that Rin was behind him, the two almost won at the same time. Of course, Haru beat him by a second more though, and Rin yelled in frustration.

As Haru and Rin continued to have their banter, Nagisa, Rei, and Makoto observed the situation from behind the couch. "Wow, they really suck at that game though." Nagisa noted, and Rei nodded in agreement, pushing his glasses up. "They were so bad at the game that they were on the whole other side of the map, while the other cars had already won at that point."

Makoto chuckled at that. "Yeah, well, I'm not sure if its more of the fact that they were just bad at the game, or if it was just because they were so busy paying attention to each other and didn't care to beat the others."

"True. Plus they did keep messing each other up, so that probably also had a part to play." Nagisa said with a nod.

Rei sighed heavily, shaking his head. "Honestly, rather its water or a video game, the two just forget about everything else and only try to beat the other. It's insane!"

"Yeah, and their usually always perfectly matched, rather their winning or losing!" Nagisa exclaimed.

Makoto smiled, looking back at the two teens who were glaring at each other on the couch. "I guess that's just the relationship they have."
