Bobby and Eugene were unsuccessful in finding any Autobots either as they arrived back on the Landing Port of the Nemesis. The other Eradicons were there as well but Starscream wasn't. The seeker would usually be the first to arrive back from missions when they've split up and proceed to boast about his speed.

As annoying as it was, it was weirder for Starscream to not be seen anywhere on the Landing Port.

"Where is Starscream?" Bobby asked. "It's been 10 hours since we split from him."

The rest of the Eradicons who arrived before them looked at each other and shrugged, "No idea Bobs. We searched all over Jasper and around the outskirts of the town," One of them said. "Hadn't heard from Starscream since we split. We never saw him anywhere either, we're just as confused as you."

"You don't think he found an Autobot and got injured do you?" Eugene asked as he turned to Bobby.

"Hopefully not," Bobby replied. "I don't really care for Starscream if I'm gonna be honest, but he's our SIC."

"Bobby's right. We should tell Megatron our report and have Soundwave find Starscream's signal," Eugene proposed. The other Eradicons nodded and they started to head to the Command Center before Bobby stopped them.

"We can't do that," Bobby firmly said. "If Megatron finds out, he'll think Starscream shirked his work and will punish him. I don't know about you guys, but Starscream looked like he was barely able to keep his balance in the air. It's probably the main reason why he had us go separate ways."

The Eradicons found themselves agreeing with Bobby. It made sense and although all of them, like Bobby, did not enjoy Starscream's attitude and treatment toward them, they knew Megatron's punishments were not to be taken lightly.

No 'con ever enjoyed seeing another 'con being on the receiving end of Megatron's harsh servos. Unless it was Arachnid cause she was worse than Starscream and she stopped being a true Decepticon when she ditched them back on Cybertron.

However, there was one Eradicon who disagreed, "Well if you care about him so much, why don't you risk your neck for him?" Scott questioned scornfully. Bobby vented heavily before answering the annoying 'con.

"Why are you fighting about this with me?"

"Starscream is nothing but a useless seeker. I mean, I can't believe he is the last one. I say it's a waste. If Megatron wants to kill him so bad, just let him," Said Scott, walking closer to Bobby. "It's long overdue anyway."

The other Eradicons became uncomfortable with the open disdain Scott obviously has with their SIC.

Bobby was quiet for a few moments, "I don't know who shoved a rod up your aft, but you really need to act more mature. We already have the Autobots on our backs, we don't need to encourage killing each other."

The Eradicons made a noise of agreement before Scott spoke again, "The Autobots are dead, you dolt!"

"If I remember correctly, Scott, none of their bodies were found and we haven't seen any of them on our search. They could still be out there. Either your memory files are corrupt or you really are stupid."

Scott growled before punching Bobby, who fell to the floor, gripping his now slightly dented helm. Eugene stepped in front of Bobby and looked at Scott in the optics.

"Scott!" Eugene exclaimed. "Can't you just stop being spiteful for one klick! You're a grown 'con so act like it!"

Scott was shocked at Eugene's reaction. The 'con was usually so peppy, not this angry 'con in front of him.

"You always protect him, Eugene. You really need to stop hanging out with that disgrace. Unless you want to be just like him."

"You mean as kind and resilient as Bobby?" Answered Eugene. He kneeled down and carefully helped Bobby stand. "Then yeah. I'll stay with him. He's much better company than you."

Scott grunted in frustration and pushed past his peers to stand right in the back. Eugene immediately took his attention from the offending Eradicon and checked Bobby's helm.

"How do you feel?" Eugene said gently as the other Eradicons awkwardly stood, looking away from the obvious display of affection between the two. "It doesn't hurt too bad right?"

Bobby gently shoved Eugene's servo away, "No. You have to stop being so touchy. It's embarrassing."

"I'm just checking on you!" Eugene shouted, offended at Bobby's embarrassment. An Eradicon corrected his vocalizer, gaining the attention of the two close Eradicons.

"Um. So. Should we contact Starscream now or…" Bobby rubbed his helm before replying.

"Uh yeah. I'll do it now," Bobby tried to connect to Starscream's comm. "Sir. Are you there? We've landed on the Nemesis and are waiting for your return." Static came from the other end, no response.

"Sir, I repeat. We've landed on the nemesis, where is your location?" Still static. Shit. Starscream might really be in trouble. As Bobby was about to suggest that he find Starscream on his own, the door to the landing port opened. Soundwave walked in with Megatron, striking a bit of fear in all the Eradicons.

"I see you've all landed. Where is Starscream?" Megatron commanded. All of the Eradicons looked at each other, unsure of how to respond.

Bobby stepped forward, "Lord Megatron, the rest of us Eradicons have found no Autobots and-"

"So you were unsuccessful." Megatron interrupted. Bobby stuttered, unsure of how to respond.

"No. I mean yes! We did not succeed in our mission and-"

"Why is it that Starscream is not here to tell me himself? Instead a low Eradicon is taking his place?" Bobby stuttered once again while the other flyers were worried about what Megatron would do.

Megatron walked closer, his form towered over the trembling flyer, "So tell me, where is Starscream?"

The menacing tone made Bobby want to leak himself, "W-we couldn't find him, my Lord," Bobby replied with a strain in his vocalizer. Fear made it hard to talk clearly. "He had us split into teams a-and when we couldn't find anything, we all came back. Starscream never showed."

Megatron growled at the news and turned to talk to himself, "I knew I couldn't count on that non-loyal half-wit. He probably ran away. Again. Unsuccessful glitch." Bobby stayed put in his place, not knowing what to do. Megatron turned to the Eradicons once more.

"Since we don't know about Starscream's whereabouts, Dreadwing will be your Captain again. At least until Starscream decides to show himself, whenever that may be and if I keep him alive."

Megatron walks back to the door, but he stops right before exiting to say, "Oh. Since none of you were able to do your job, no energon for any of you." Then he and Soundwave walk past the doors, letting it slide shut behind them.

All of the flyers were shocked and disappointed, but not as disappointed as Bobby. Poor Eradicon felt like he failed all his peers and Starscream. He'd never particularly cared for any of them, aside from Eugene, but he liked to feel useful. Unfortunately today was not that day.

Earlier

Arcee transformed into her robot mode within the big abandoned barn she found a couple days earlier. She carefully opened the barn doors and looked around outside to see any Decepticons flying around or if there were any on the dirt road, but luckily there were none.

The blue Autobot walked outside, only a few feet away from the barn and gave a long stretch.

"Primus," She said. "My chassis is killing me! Having to stay in vehicle mode for too long is the worst."

Arcee relaxed and surveyed her surroundings once more. She couldn't let her guard down, not at a time like this. She wished she could contact the others, but the Decepticons could intercept her comms and find her location. As much as she can handle herself, she was not in the mood to fight on her own with no guaranteed reinforcements.

Also, Optimus wanted all of them to rendezvous back to Jasper. Arcee knew all of her teammates were capable of fighting off Decepticons just as much as she.

However, what if one of them got captured? Or hurt? And they couldn't make it to Jasper, she can't risk capture just to check on stupid fears.

'I have nothing to worry about,' thought Arcee. 'They'll be fine. I'll meet them at Jasper when Decepticon activity calms down and we'll all rescue Bee.'

They will all be together again. Their small, broken family.

Arcee just hopes Smokescreen will be okay. He's a bit of a reckless bot but he's just a young Cybertronian.

Primus, Arcee wished Jack was here. It's great that Jack doesn't have to be stuck in this situation with her. He's safe at home where he should be, but he was always her comforter. When she worried too much, he would be there to reassure her. They would do it for each other since the both of them tended to worry too much for their own good. It's what made them a great team.

This whole situation is just fragged. Damn Megatron to the pits for making the rest of them miserable!

Arcee's thoughts were interrupted when her audio receptors picked up the sound of jets coming close.

She quickly turned and saw two Eradicons coming close to her location. Arcee quickly ducked inside the barn, out of sight. She activated her blasters before crouching near the entrance. The two Eradicons kept going until they passed the barn.

Arcee kept close watch until they were no longer within sight. She could tell she was really tense because her vents, that she didn't realize were closed, opened and let out a gust of air.

She can't hide like this for long. Arcee has to head out soon if she wants to meet up with the others.

She'll leave tonight and hopefully she can make it to Jasper in two days. They had to save Bee as soon as possible, who knows what Megatron has got planned for him.

Arcee reverted her blasters back to servos and headed further in the barn after closing the barn doors. The blue Autobot is gonna need a little more rest for the journey ahead of her.
