A/N: All good things must come to an end like this story, it has been one of my favorites but I have done everything I wanted with it and don't know where else to take it. I don't have ideas for a new story yet so until then I will be uploading Thunder and Ligtening. Once again thanks for the support!

Chapter One Hundred And Three

Now Her Girls

The court date was here, Esmie was nervous there would be a snag but was glad the Hubbles had come for support. Esmie was glad it was just them and the judge, she didn't need another stressful case.

"Esmerelda please come to the stand," the judge said, this time a man. She walked up knowing she was being asked why she wanted to adopt and had to give a statement.

"I just need you to tell me why you want to adopt your sisters," the man said knowing he couldn't just put adoptions through he had to be sure it was the right thing.

"I always loved my sisters, and always felt so protective of them, but this last two years I have experienced first hand being a hands-on parent and having to fulfil the role of a mum as well as a sister and I realised they are my whole life, every single thing I do is for them they come first in everything, having to help both of them through additional needs has been an eye-opener for me but I realised I would not give it up for anything, I love them like my own children, I want to give them the permanent home they deserve, I couldn't love them more if I had birthed them, that is why I want to adopt them" Esmerelda explained. Looking up and seeing Julie with an arm around both her girls as they cried at her words, touched.

Ethel and Sybil didn't have to give a statement this time, just say whether they want to be adopted or not, the Judge had all their statements and from the Great Wizard already, they both screamed yes so loud the Judge had to cover his ears. He nodded and hit the gravel.

"I approve, I see no reason this shouldn't happen, congratulations you are adopted," the man told them as all three girls now cried at one of the happiest moments of their lives. They stood up and Esmie signed the adoption certificates and because the girls were old enough to write, so did they. They posed for photos holding their certificates so proudly.

Sybil's eyes widened so much when she saw the chocolate cake she looked a little demented. They were sitting in a restaurant having a meal as celebratory, Julie and Esmie were paying for their girls food so it was affordable for both.

"Nothing beats cheesecake," Ethel said eating hers

"BORING" Sybil said eating up her treat happily.

"No fighting you two," Esmie said knowing they would if she didn't step in.

"Do we have to call you mum?" Ethel asked and Esmie shook her head.

"I am still your sister, just your mum now too, call me what you feel comfortable with" Esmie replied smiling.

"I know!" Sybil said smiling "Mummy Esmie! That is what I am going to call you" Sybil said thinking a mix of the two was perfect.

"Mummy Esmie is perfect!" Ethel said looking at the eldest to see if she liked it.

Esmie sat there staring at them as tears streamed silently down her face, she nodded forgetting how to form words in that moment all she could do was cry softly to herself, not caring she was in a restaurant.

"I cried when Mildred first called me mum too," Julie told her remembering how emotional it was.

"How did you get chocolate sauce in your hair," Esmie asked an hour later when they were back home chilling as she tried to work the knots out Sybil's hair.

"I don't know mummy Esmie, I like calling you that" Sybil replied and Esmie still felt her heart fill at them words.

"It is the best thing I have ever heard" Esmie replied honestly, no two words in the world could compare to them.

"Mummy Esmie can we go shopping soon, I need more books" Ethel now said as she watched them.

"Sure daughter Ethel, let me just finish on daughter Sybil" Esmerelda replied smiling, not feeling odd saying them words, they had been hers all her life, now it was just official.

Miss Cackle and Miss Hardbroom were not allowed back teaching at Cackles, instead, there were two new permanent teachers Miss Starsky and Miss Froghead, that was her real name and at first, she was teased but she soon put the girls in order with her strictness, she was as strict as HB but also way more reasonable.

As the girls settled down that day to watch a film, Esmie couldn't believe she was here, with two adopted daughters, best friends with a Hubble, working in the non-magical world and supporting a flat all before her eighteenth birthday but as she watched her two fighting over popcorn she knew she wanted nothing more in the world, and now she didn't have to prove to anyone she was a mother because she was a permanent one.

Maybe Sybil was right all those years ago, maybe they were cursed, but no curse could kill the love or feelings these three girls had for each other, no matter what happened they had each other. Forever, permanently, their lives together were only just beginning.
