"The last time I said goodbye to a boyfriend, I was saying goodbye for good," Kara mused as she and Oliver walked through a grassy field not far outside of National City.

"You're not going to lose me," Oliver promised, squeezing her hand.

"Aw! Cute!" Thea screeched.

"Why do you have to screech?" Roy said as he winced. She had screeched right in his ear.

"I know," Kara smiled, reaching up to kiss him.

Oliver kissed her back, smiling and resting his forehead against hers. The rest of the Earth-1 visitors had returned to their universe the previous day, allowing Oliver and Kara to have a day to themselves. All of them had agreed the couple deserved that before Oliver had to return to his universe and get back to his duties as mayor in Star City.

"I agree with Thea. Cute," Alex said, while Kara blushed and hid her head in Oliver's shoulder.

That didn't mean the two had to like it. On the contrary – they absolutely hated the idea of having to be three dozen Earths apart. But they both had extrapolators now, fine-tuned to each other's as well so they could hop right to where the other extrapolator was if need be. Cisco really was a genius.

"I don't want you to go," Kara admitted quietly.

"I don't want to, either," Oliver smiled sadly, brushing her hair away from her face. "But I promise, as soon as I get the time, I'm coming back."

"Not if I come to you first," Kara couldn't help but smile.

"God, the sheer fake arguing about who would go to whose earth every time, was cute yet also annoying," Malcolm said.

"You're on, angel," Oliver chuckled, kissing her forehead.

Kara closed her eyes, enjoying just being there alone with Oliver, the grass rustling around them, and she made the choice she had been debating since they had arrived. She reached to her neck and removed the chain she wore. "Take this," she whispered, pressing it into his hand.

"What is it with you and giving boyfriends valuable kryptonian jewelry?" Alex asked.

"Shut up Alex," Kara said.

Oliver's eyes widened, looking down at the ring she had given him. "Kara," he began.

"No," Kara shook her head. "You helped save me from every bad thing that could have happened. My life, my identity as Supergirl, my life at CatCo, my family . . . all of it could have been destroyed. Please, Oliver . . . if anyone deserves this, it's you." Oliver swallowed, then nodded, placing the chain and ring around his own neck, Kara smiling softly as he put it on. "We'll come back to each other. We always will."

"Okay, pretty good reason, I will admit," Alex said.

Oliver could only nod in silent agreement, then reached into his jacket. "Now I'm glad I decided to make this."

Kara blinked as he took a black leather cord from his pocket, and she gasped when she saw it was one of his green arrowheads converted into a pendant. "Oliver!"

"Slade and Malcolm might have helped," he told her as she picked it up, eyes wide. "We're not leaving each other completely."

"Of course we helped. We're awesome," Slade said.

"Not now Slade," Black Siren said.

Kara smiled brightly, placing the cord around her neck, happy to have a weight of some kind where her father's ring used to be. "Never," she agreed.

Oliver smiled at her, then took a deep breath and pulled out the extrapolator Cisco had given him. He pressed the center button, watching as a breach sprang to life in front of him. He turned back to Kara, seeing tears already starting to gather in her eyes. "I'll see you again," he promised.

"You better," she managed to smile.

"I will," he promised, kissing her deeply. "I love you," he whispered.

"I love you, too," Kara responded quietly.

"Aw!" Thea screeched again.

"Should I just sit somewhere else?" Roy said.

"Don't you dare," Thea said.

He kissed her forehead again before reluctantly stepping away. Kara released his hand, taking a deep breath as he walked to the breach. She gave him a wave, which he returned before walking through. The breach snapped shut behind him, and it was just Kara alone in the field.

She closed her eyes and tilted her head towards the sun, basking in its rays. She was alone now, that she acknowledged, reaching up to touch the pendant Oliver had given her. She examined it again, noting how the green arrowhead was polished until it shone like an emerald. To some people, it might have seemed like a cheap thing to give. But Oliver had made it for her, with the help of two men who could be her surrogate older brothers.

She wasn't entirely alone any longer.

The wail of sirens carried to her ears, and Kara turned, smiling as she looked at her city glittering. The sooner she continued on with her life, the sooner that meant she could see Oliver again, she decided, and with a grin, she took off running, unbuttoning her shirt as she went. She leapt into the sky, the wind blowing her hair behind her, and she laughed in pure glee, flying to save the day, one thought on her mind.

"You know, that scene is kind of like the ending of season two. Except this time she's happy," Katie C. Said.

"Yeah, I asked the writer and she said it was meant to," Melissa said.

Here's to life being full.

"Okay everyone that's it until tomorrow," Laurel said.

"Cool, we don't have to come back tomorrow, right," Malcolm said.

"No, we do," Laurel said.

"Damn, really?" Malcolm said.

"Yes! You knew this already, why do I have to remind you!" Laurel said.

"I don't know. Where's Rebecca, she was just here," Malcolm asked.

"Let's go find her," Laurel said

Black Siren was laughing as she watched them leave. Everyone filtered into the break room, to hang out till they wanted to go to bed.

(I'm going to call the past versions by their names now)

Before she could get to the break room, a hand pulled her off to the side.

It was Malcolm, they waited until everyone was gone then Laurel turned around and said, "What Malcolm!"

"I wanted to talk without the gossip harpies overhearing," Malcolm said.

"Is that what we're calling them now," Laurel said.

"Anyway, I wanted clarification, are we together?" Malcolm asked.

"Well, that depends on what you want too, relationships are more than just one person, I wouldn't mind if we were together, what about you?" Laurel asked.

"I would like that," Malcolm said.

"What would this involve?" Laurel asked. "Last time I was in a relationship the guy drowned, then I turned to crime, being a criminal, it isn't a great way to meet people."

Malcolm kissed her, silencing all further discussion.

When they pulled away, Malcolm said, "We will not tell any of those, gossiping harpies, about this, they might focus their shipping on us and not Oliver and Kara."

"Oh yeah, I won't say a word," Laurel said.

"Good, now lets go before Kara eats everything," Malcolm said.

"You underestimate her abilities to eat everyone's food. Also even if you do manage to get something, she'll just steal it again," Laurel said.

"Yeah, who taught her manners," Malcolm asked as they went on the break room.

Kara hadn't completely eaten everything yet, but as predicted, as soon as Malcolm got his hands on the pizza Kara wooshed it from his hands.

Malcolm was pouting over his lost pizza when he saw Laurel laughing her ass off.

"Stop laughing, jerk, I'm hungry," Malcolm said.

"Fine! I guess you don't want this slice I saved for you," Laurel said.

"No, I do want it, I'm sorry," Malcolm said.

"Apology accepted, just don't tell Kara, she'll steal my food too," Laurel said.

Malcolm started laughing when Laurel saw Sara heading over their way.

"Gossiping harpy twelve o'clock," Laurel muttered.

"Is that really what we're calling them now, cause I don't want to call my daughter a harpy. What if she finds out," Malcolm said.

"Shut up, act natural," Laurel said.

"But I've never done that before," Malcolm whisper yelled.

"Hey, Sara," Laurel said.

"Hey, saw you guys laughing pretty hard, so I decided to come over here, see what was up," Sara said.

"Okay you're obviously over here to spy on us," Laurel said.

"What, that is ridiculous, and you have no proof," Sara said.

"This text on my phone on the group chat says Sara, go spy on Malcolm and Laurel," Laurel said.

"Okay, so you have a little proof," Sara said.

"Then you texted back okay, I'll ask them why they're laughing," Laurel said.

"I'm gonna go," Sara said.

"Yeah, that's in your best interest," Laurel said.

"You guys have a group chat?" Malcolm said, after Sara walked away.

"Yeah, they should have started a new one if they're trying to spy on us without us knowing," Laurel said.

Sara went back to the shipping sisters and said, "We need a new group chat so we can spy on them without them knowing."

One by one everyone trickled out. Eventually, no one was left.

(Future versions are Malcolm and Laurel now)

"How can one kid hide so well?" Laurel said.

"I don't know," Malcolm shrugged.

"Thank you! You are so helpful!" Laurel yelled.

"I know," Malcolm said.

"Shut up. Rebecca! If you don't come here now I will-" Laurel yelled before she turned to Malcolm and asked, "What do 11-year-olds like?"

"The cookies we bought," Malcolm said.

"I'll take away the cookies we bought," Laurel yelled.

"No!" Malcolm said.

"No!" Rebecca yelled at the same time, coming out of nowhere.

"There you are, we have to go home," Laurel said.

"Where were you?" Malcolm asked.

"That door," Rebecca pointed.

"That's a vent," Laurel said.

"Yeah, your security is really crappy," Rebecca said.

"What is that in your hand," Malcolm asked.

"Stuffed ravens," Rebecca said.

"Why do you have that!?" Laurel said.

"I bought them, on Earth-38," Rebecca said, in her best duh voice.

"You can't keep those," Laurel said.

"Can I keep this?" Rebecca said, pulling out The Flash ring.

"No! That's Barry's, he was looking for it for hours," Laurel said.

"It was hilarious," Malcolm said.

"Pleeeease, I really like the birds," Rebecca said.

"Okay, fine, but you can't keep the Flash ring, that's important," Laurel said taking the flash ring, but giving her the Ravens.

"Thank you," Rebecca hugged her. "Can we eat cookies when we get home?"

"Yeah!" Malcolm said.

"No, it's late," Laurel said.

"Awww," Malcolm and Rebecca said.

"Malcolm, don't whine," Laurel said.

"But they're chocolate chip,"Malcolm said.

"Oh my god," Laurel muttered.

"What?" Malcolm asked.

"I married a child," Laurel said.

"And you're just figuring this out," Malcolm said.

"No," Laurel sighed, before Malcolm put an arm around her.

"Stop being gross," Rebecca said.

"We're not being gross," Laurel said.

"Yeah, you are," Rebecca said.

"Oh really," Laurel said, bringing her into the hug. "I love you guys."

"We love you too," Malcolm said.

"Let's go home," Laurel said.

"And eat cookies!" Rebecca said.

"No!" Laurel said.

(Again, I'm going to call the past versions by their name now)

Later that night, right after Laurel was shown to her room.
