Fred was always first

Fred was always first

Fred was the first, to arrive into the world the day we were born, he was the first to be named by our parent and even when we say our names were said, Fred and George not the other way around.

Fred was the first to say, mom and dad, the first to crawled and the first to walk when the time came.

He was noticed first when we walked through the schools' halls by teachers and students alike or even when we're home by our parents.

He was thought first when it came to our birthday or other occasions, people would think of Fred first and then me it happened all the time and they didn't even realize they were doing it.

He was the first to have a crush, the first to fall in love and the first to have his heart broken by a girl when they broke up. My road to everything was paved by Fred and I always had him there to tell me what to do and how to do it.

I always thought that he would be the one who would have married first had children and grandchildren first but it was not meant to be. I never minded following his footsteps but there was something that we were always going to do together and that was dying the one and the only thing we should had done together.

Like always Fred did this first too he was the first to join all the heroes that died during both wars and now I'm still alive empty with the loss of identity with the loss of my best friend, brother and another half.

Fred will no longer be first now I'll be the only one that will get married and have children and grandchildren of my own one day but now as a see this grave with this writing

Beloved son, brother, friend

He did a hero with laughter on his lips

He will be missed

I cannot help but wish that we had actually done our plan and both died because I cannot see a future without Fred doing it first.

Fred was always first and not even death is going to change this for me.
