Hey there!

No chapter, no. Sorry.

As I said in DarkerShade's last AN (Chapter 28), I am putting An Extension of the Soul and A Rose Too Many on hold, the reason being that I left the RWBY fandom. For good.

I will try my best to finish Demonic Redemption and A Darker Shade of Gold and, if possible, maybe pick Extension and Rose up again, but I make no promises. While I do know how disappointing this must be for you all, I write fanfictions for fun and to relax - writing for a fandom I don't like any more simply goes against my principles: don't write it if you don't like it.

Not to mention, having 4 active stories in RWBY was taking quite the toll on me, stress-wise. Add to that the fact that Comedy isn't a genre I can easily write (it's actually really hard to write chapters for Extension or Rose), and you get the general picture.

There are lots of reasons why I don't like RWBY any longer, main one being that I simply stopped actively watching it. I started to read fanfictions of other fandoms and I got myself into them. Makes sense, right?

I know this is disappointing, as I said, but honestly I prefer (and I think you all would too) telling you outright, rather than just not updating them ever again, or even worse writing horrible chapters out of desperation.

In Rose's case, it's kind of a pity since I haven't seen many stories exploring the fact that animals and plants can have Aura too, and can thus have a Semblance. But as I said, it's for the best. Maybe someone else will write their own story about it and will actually follow it through.

No matter what, I wish you all a nice day, hopefully not ruined by this AN.
