AUTHOR'S NOTE: One of the scenes was inspired by KicsterAsh's YouTube video: Kaden's Letter which is a really amazing and tear jerking video. I like to thank everyone for reading and reviewing this story and for being patient when I was having trouble updating this. I was finally able to update this story, feeling inspired by not only re-watching Danny Phantom, but also watching Ratchet and Clank and Inuyasha. All of them are great TV and game series.

All of them landed in some kind of dark world, on a flat rock surface. The sky was red and there was nothing but floating rocks every, lightning flashed across the dark blood red sky.

They all stood up as Jazz asked, "Where are we?"

"The Unworld." Vlad said as he got up. He glared at them all and sneered, "You three have ruined everything! None of you will leave here alive!"

Danny said nothing except charge up and grabbed onto the staff's handle. Vlad and Danny both tried to rip the staff away from each other in a tug of way.

Jazz then got an idea and whispered it to Sam. She nodded and the two quickly snuck around and stood behind Vlad as the two continued to fight for the Crystal Staff.

"Just give it up Daniel! You may have power, but you still don't have the strength to fight me! You're still weak!" Vlad sneered.

Danny groaned as he continued to struggle, trying to rip the staff from Vlad's hands. He then noticed Sam and Jazz standing behind Vlad, Sam was holding her wrist ray at the ready and in Jazz hands was a Spectre Deflector.

"But I'm not alone Vlad! Good thing I always have my family and girlfriend beside me. NOW!" Danny shouted and then Sam, blasted Vlad right in the back causing him to let go of the staff and fall to his knees and before he could react, Jazz attached the Spectre Deflector to his waist and locked it.

An immediate reaction happened as Jazz and Sam stood back with Danny. The belt activated and began to shock Vlad hard, causing him fall to the ground, feeling weak and drained. Danny then closed his eyes and released a powerful Ghostly Wail at Vlad, sending him crashing into the boulder behind him.

Sam and Jazz covered their ears from the noise and watched as Danny's power forced Vlad to change back into his human form. Danny then stopped, feeling weak himself from using so much energy and changed back into his human form. He fell a little, but Sam caught him and held him up, while Jazz held onto the Crystal Staff.

He sat up and looked up at Danny who held the staff in his hands. He growled and then sneered at him, "You can't destroy me boy. Only I know your true purpose in this world! Only I know your true name that your parents gave you! As long as I'm alive, your kind will never be safe from me! Do you hear me?! NEVER…."

Suddenly, the rock split between them and suddenly Vlad's side collapsed. Vlad screamed as he fell and disappeared into the darkness, never to be seen again as he was now forever lost in the vastness of the Unworld.

Danny sighed in relief as he began to fall unconscious from the lack of energy. Sam held onto him as his eyes closed and said, "We have to leave."

"Let's hope this staff has one more trip left in it." Jazz said as she noticed, the crack was now a bit bigger than before.

Jazz grabbed one of Danny's arms and wrapped it around her shoulders, while Sam grabbed the other arm and wrapped it around her shoulder. Jazz then commanded the staff, "Crystal Staff, find Frostbite and Jack Fenton!"

The Crystal Staff read Jazz's thoughts and glowed one final time. In front of them, a portal leading back to the Halfa Clan's home and together, they jumped through with Danny in their arms.

Danny groaned as his eyes opened, everything was blurry at first but it quickly became clear as Sam looked at him.

"Danny? Are you alright?" Sam asked as he fully woke up.

"Yeah…I think so." Danny answered, still feeling a bit weak. "Where are we?"

She smiled as he sat up and he could now see the smiling faces of his new girlfriend, Jazz, Jack and Frostbite and then answered his question, "We are home."

Danny smiled back as he sat up. He then asked, "The Crystal Staff?"

Frostbite unveiled a cloth and inside was now the destroyed Crystal Staff. The staff part was now all dented and the crystal was in pieces as he said, "It had enough power for one more portal and then, it shattered."

"At least it's now destroyed." Danny said in relief. "It can't cause any more trouble now."

Danny sat up on top of the roof of the Ops Centre back at his house in Amity Park, looking up at the night sky. Sam came over and sat next to him and noticed his mind seemed to be on something.

"Everything alright?" She asked, placing her hand on top of his in comfort.

He sighed and asked, "Do you think he was telling the truth Sam? About my parents? About my purpose?"

"I don't know Danny, but….I think your purpose has been filled." Sam answered, causing him to look at her. "You defeated Vlad and stopped him from practically taking over the world. Something even the Halfa Clan couldn't do and I bet if they were here or maybe, if they found a way to keep an eye on things at their old home, they'd be proud of you. Including your real mother, your real father if he's alive and Maddie."

He smiled at the answer and hugged Sam who returned it as he said, "Thanks Sam. I love you."

"I love you too." She said and then they both shared a deep kiss. They pulled apart and continued to smile at each other.

She then asked, "If you don't mind me asking, what about the Halfa Clan?"

"They're not in danger. They just….moved on and as you and Jazz said, we'll find them one way or another and let them know they can return home, and who knows? Maybe my real father will be among them." He answered. "But for now, it can wait. My family and I can finally stop running and now live in the place we've come to call home."

She smiled and said as she continued to hold his hand, "And I'll always be by your side, no matter what."

Jack then came up onto the roof and smiled at the sight. In his hands was an envelope, he walked over and asked Sam, "Um….would it be alright if I had a moment with Danny?"

Sam nodded and headed back downstairs. Jack knelt down beside Danny and handed him the envelope as he said, "It's a present and a letter for you. When you arrived at our home in the escape pod, this was inside. It's from Alister, your father."

Danny opened it and saw a brown journal book and then looked and opened the front to see a letter inside. He unfolded the paper and began to read the letter.

My son,

As I write this letter to you; you are hardly a year old. You like climbing, playing (especially with my tools) and putting things in your mouth, like all babies. Your mother and I just had your naming ceremony a few days ago and we have given you the name Daniel or whenever we call you Danny, it always brings a smile to your face. On Earth, the name means God is my judge and it is definitely the perfect name for you.

I write this to you, not out of fear for the future, but because I am certain of it. I may not know what lies ahead, but I'm sure great adventures await. You will grow and learn with the universe around you. I have a feeling when you get older, you will become the courageous, loyal and honest boy I know you will be. You will also become a good friend to many and a great leader and someday, meet the girl of your dreams as I did with your mother Neri.

I may not always be there for you and you may not always want me there, but no matter where you are or what you decide to do in your life, always know that I love you with all of my being. Nothing will ever change that and whatever you do, I will always be proud of you.

You are the greatest gift your mother ever gave me and have become our precious treasure. You are the happiest thing to have ever happened to me. I would go to the ends of the Ghost Zone and even Earth, before giving you up.

You are worth all of the happiness in my life and beyond. Always know that.

Danny finished reading the letter and looked down, small tears falling from his eyes. Jack looked down as well and began to apologise, "I'm sorry Danny. Perhaps the letter was too much. I…"

Danny however wiped his eyes and was now smiling and said stopping Jack from talking, "No. This letter was perfect."

He gave Jack a hug and said, "Thanks, dad. For this and for everything you and mum did for me."

Jack smiled back and hugged him tight as he said, "You are very welcome, my son."

From the door, Sam and Jazz watched and continued to smile at the heartwarming sight between Jack and Danny.

Meanwhile in another part of the Ghost Zone, a bunch of what looked like to be people were watching the events that happened on a large monitoring system. They watched as Danny, Sam and Jazz returned from the Unworld without Vlad Plasmius.

One of them was a man with black ebony short hair, wearing a sleeveless white tunic with black pants and black boots. He placed his hand on the screen while smiling at Danny warmly and said, "My son is alive and he did what we couldn't. He defeated Vlad Plasmius. It's time, to come home."
