Hoshiko clung to her back as she headed to the kitchen, the mute six-year-old looking around. Ice formed and floated in front of her, Hoshiko's way of speaking. 'Today's the first day of Culture Week, right?'

"Yep! And you're stuck with me the whole week." Hikari blew a raspberry against her cheek as they entered the kitchen. "So what do you want for breakfast?"

STARISH and QUARTET NIGHT were the only ones in there, Tomochika, Daiki, and Tomochika's senpai Hikari hadn't met yet out at work already. A tap on her shoulder had Hikari giving Hoshiko an encouraging smile as they were noticed.

"Ah, Hoshiko-chan!" Otoya beamed from beside the pancakes, drowning his in syrup and studiously ignoring Masato and Tokiya's horrified expressions. "Glad to see you up!"

Hoshiko ducked her head slightly and wiggled her fingers after chancing a look at the eleven males. 'Good morning, Otoya-nii,' formed in ice, Hoshiko's way of communicating.

There was a clatter as Camus, in a moment of shock, dropped his empty plate on the table, getting startled looks. "Camus?" Cecil spoke carefully.

The count didn't answer, instead holding up a hand with his scepter and they watched in surprise as a faint silver mist formed around the top and a symbol formed, made of ice. Her lips formed an 'O' and she locked eyes with a still shocked Camus. "Isn't Permafrost's known for the pale people?"

Camus nodded and Hikari shrieked in glee, twisting to grab Hoshiko in a proper hug. "I knew it! I knew you were from Permafrost! You look like her!" The little girl squeezed tightly, eyes begging and Hikari whirled back around to rush to Camus. "Can you help her with the ice?"

Hoshiko was already leaning towards him, nearly out Hikari's arms, and Camus came over, gently taking her into his arms. "Get her a plate," he murmured as he walked out, switching to French and Hoshiko switched to writing French, gleeful.

Hikari bounced over to grab a plate like he said. She tilted her head when Ai looked at her. "What's up, Ai-senpai?"

"How is she able to use ice?" He asked, turning in his seat, everyone's eyes on hers.

She shrugged, finishing making a breakfast sandwich and putting yogurt on a tray. "Don't know. Setsuna-senpai and Momo-senpai adopted her three years ago after Umma had her as a patient. I'm gonna take this to her. Hoshiko-chan and I will be out today, so we might not see you guys later." Hikari offered a wave before picking up the tray and heading out to the courtyard, already knowing that's the place Camus would have taken Hoshiko.

Entering the courtyard, she paused at seeing the swirling snow and how gentle Camus was acting with Hoshiko on the bench beside him. Walking closer, she made sure to click her slippers on the stones so she didn't get hit with snow like she had once after startling Hoshiko. "Hey. I've got yogurt and sandwiches."

Hoshiko beamed up at her, moving to accommodate the tray and Camus was silent as the two girls ate. The little girl finished quickly, and after checking Hikari and Camus, stepped further into the courtyard and summoning snow and ice, face cutely set in concentration. Hikari leaned against the bench.

"Only those in nobility can summon snow and ice," Camus said quietly and she hummed.

"That would explain why Hoshiko-chan was found in a frozen burned vehicle, a van to be exact. She became mute after that, selectively." Hikari lolled her head towards him, biting into a strawberry. "Her mothers would kill before giving her back."

He was silent for a moment. "I will speak with Her Majesty when I get the chance. I will try to make sure they stay together."

Another hum. "Setsuna-senpai has a lot of martial arts engrained in her muscles and Momo-senpai has a thing for weaponry. They could act as guards or something."

"I will mention that as well."

They watched as Hoshiko beamed and bounced around, snow and ice dancing in the wind around her.

"On Tuesday, the kids will be at ice skating rink. You should come."

"... I will see if I have plans."

The first day ended and Yamato scowled slightly as he dried his hair, brow twitching. "Why did I have to be the lifeguard again?"

Hikari looked up from helping Hoshiko, the little girl blinking and letting ice form in the air, explaining before Hikari could. 'You're taller among the group, so you can see the other kids better.'

"But in the pool?" He complained. "I smell like I bathed in chlorine."

"You can take a shower back at the dorms," Eiji chuckled, dressed again with Shion beside him, the latter's hair puffed slightly from the hair dryer. "So, Tuesday is ice skating, Wednesday basketball, Thursday kickball, and Friday is trampolines?"

"Yep," she nodded as she stood up. "By the way, good work today. The kids were really happy."

The three shifted in mild embarrassment, but Shion was contently glowing and Eiji and Yamato were sharing grins. Tugging Hoshiko to her feet after her boots were laced, they waved at the trio. 'See you tomorrow!'

They waved back and Hoshiko and Hikari left the large public pool, waving goodbye to the workers.

Hikari dropped onto the couch across from Camus, who nodded at her and smiled slightly at Hoshiko when the girl crawled to lay on Hikari's back. "Do you do this every year?" He asked.

"Yep. Last year it was all dancing. The year prior, we rented out an indoor resort - you saw the one Tomo-chan, Daiki, and I were at? That's the one - and had swimming classes and water balloon fights. There was so much chaos." She grinned at the memory. "This week, it's all about sports, kind of. Is ice skating a sport?"

"Yes. Figure skating and hockey," Camus said and put his bookmark in his book, straightening. Both girls focused on him. "The Silk Queen is coming in two nights, along with DNA samples for a blood test."

Hoshiko squirmed and asked, 'Does that mean I have to give blood?'

Shifting to her back, Hikari settled Hoshiko on her stomach. "Just a little for Appa to run the tests. Kisara-hime can distract you again." Hoshiko gave a quick nod, smiling brightly. The little girl glanced at Camus, formed an ice crown and pointed to herself.

Camus merely shook his head. "The Queen wants to see the results first. She does plan on staying until next week, however."

"You're back!" They looked over to see Tomochika bouncing over. She made grabby hands at Hoshiko. "Hoshi-chan, wanna come watch my senpai do their makeup? Kari said you loved watching the transformation?"

The girl nearly fell off in her haste to get to Tomochika, waving as the redhead picked her up.

"You didn't seem surprised she came to take Hoshiko," Camus said, eyeing her carefully and she smirked, swinging from the couch to kneel beside him.

"That's only because I wanted to ask you a few questions without her listening in." Her smirk dropped and she tilted her head. "Agnapolis has the blessings of the Muses and Permafrost has the blessings of Khione, right?" At his nod, she continued, "What about those who've got the ability of fire?"

The Count stilled. "What?"

She sighed at the dark tone and leaned against the chair. "Hoshiko was found in a large frozen clearing off one of the highways and the van she was in had been burned horribly. She was terrified of fire for almost two years."

"There's only one country who'd risk kidnapping a noble child - The country of Flarevale…"

"Do you have a phone?" She asked abruptly, making him blink at her.

"Yes." He shifted in his chair before handing it over, watching as she added to his contacts and sent text messages.

"These are the people who responded to finding Hoshiko along with her mothers' numbers, along with my own number if you need to know whatever else there might be." Hikari passed it back and stood. "I'm going to go make sure they don't go nuts with the makeup. See ya later, senpai!"

Hikari slumped in the spa-like bathroom of the female dorms (Hoshiko had crashed in Tomochika's room), head tilted back and considered. Permafrost's Royal family tended towards snow and ice as their magics, blessed by Khione. Flarevale had fire magic from Hephaestus, since they were more milistic than Hestia favored. The Ibragimov family, Cecil's family, was blessed by the Muses and thus Apollo. Of course, fewer knew of the branch family that combined the Ibragimov and Durand, the Permafrost family - the Laurents. Of course, they weren't called that anymore since they, while still having the Ibragimov-Durand magics in their blood, had been blessed by another god, along with a few other branch families that had died out. For the Laurents, it was Poseidon.

The Laurents had been a small branch and had been allowed to leave Permafrost to settle elsewhere. During the trek, the Laurents had settled in the east and changed their names to Nami. Over the years, it changed to Minami, then Nanami after the death of Utaka and her great-grandmother by Aiko. The song blessings were retained the most in their blood, hence having their own agency, but the ability over water skipped generations and Hikari had been the one to win that lottery. Fortunately, her cousins couldn't careless (not offense towards Poseidon) since they didn't swim that much. Hikari, on the other hand, usually did.

Ghosting her hand over the water, Hikari straightened her hand and pulled, feeling the twist in her chest and her alexandrite necklace glowed faintly as the water rose and moved to loop around her hand like a glove before she lightly flicked her index finger and it shot into the air and she smiled faintly before making shapes. She had to find some amusement source while soaking, after all.

Camus wondered just how he had gotten involved with the ice skating. He had just come to drop Hoshiko off after morning training, yet STARISH along with Shibuya and the three from Raging had somehow got him to join them, along with Mikaze, Kotobuki, and Kurosaki. At least he had nothing scheduled.

He followed in the back until they arrived at the main entrance of the ice rink and he spotted a few of the royal guards. Queen Cyrille's guards, to be exact. "Captain Theo?"

The tall, silver haired man looked over and smiled, bowing slightly. "Count Camus, good morning. The Queen wished to skate." The captain didn't let him nor the others say anything further and motioned to the rink, which they all got closer to, being careful with their skates.

Hoshiko squeaked in Aijima's arms, leaning towards the glass divider, glancing at him and he nodded.

In her royal wardrobe, Queen Cyrille Durand was enchanting and ethereal. Now, dressed in an outfit of a figure skater that was white at the top end deepened into a royal blue, crystals making it twinkle beneath the lights, and her skates purely white, she looked similar to that of an Olympic skater. And Nanami as well. Both females had their hair up, Queen Cyrille a bun and Nanami a curled ponytail, and Nanami was dressed in a simple, non decorative black outfit lightening into a royal blue, the opposite of Queen Cyrille's.

Nanami noticed them first and said something to Queen Cyrille, who smiled and threw her hand up, flicking fingers to form words. 'Would you like a show?'

The kids erupted into cheers and Nanami signed something to the person by the soundbooth.

Queen Cyrille said something to Nanami before they separated, the Queen calling up a thing ice barrier and the two paused in all motion, shifting just a bit til they mirrored each other, backs to each other. The sound of a flute filled the air and Queen Cyrille opened her mouth to sing, startling Camus as he didn't know she did.

"Look at me
I will never pass for a perfect bride
Or a perfect daughter."

They both moved as she sang. Their hands shifted and motioned to their faces, skating a bit away from the barrier and eyes closed as they spun around in a sharp upright spin, pressing their hands against the barrier. Nanami sang the next part.

"Can it be I'm not meant to play this part?
Now I see
That if I were truly to be myself, I would break my family's heart."

Their eyes opened and they reeled away from the mirror, bring a hand to their throats, Nanami's right and Queen Cyrille's left. They sang in unison.

"Who is that girl I see?
Staring straight, back at me
Why is my reflection someone I don't know?"

They moved back closer, waving a hand in falsified awe as they mirrored each other. Hands lifted to trace each others face.

"Somehow I cannot hide
Who I am
Though I've tried
When will my reflection show who I am inside?
When will my reflection show who I am inside?"

The duo turned, leaning against the barrier as the song came to an end, mirroring each other to the last note. The barrier disappeared into particles and they straightened. Camus looked over as Hoshiko asked for a repeat and the females spoke for a moment before Nanami motioned to Camus, wanting to know if he'd perform one more song with her as Queen Cyrille rushed over to the soundbooth, nearly bouncing on her skates. Seeing the pleading looks from the kids and his colleagues, he sighed and moved to put his skates on.

Reaching Nanami, he raised a brow at her. "You know Her Majesty?"

"Even Royalty had to take breaks, Count Camus," she replied, smiling brightly. "Now have you ever flown on skates before?"

The sound of drums came, pounding through the speakers and he smiled back at her ss he recognized the song, making her blink. "Keep up." He raced off and she laughed as he spun, her close behind and switching back in forth just as the drums came to a head.

"Let the wind carry us," he began to sing and she spun in front of him, catching his hands and making them spin together.

"To the clouds, hurry up, alright," Nanami continued, eyes glowing mischievously as she abruptly released his hands, sending them both in opposite directions, spinning.

Otoya could feel the surprise wafting off of all the older teens as he watched Hikari skate with Camus.

"Get out of our way," the two sang out, just barely missed each other as Hikari performed a spinning jump and Camus neatly skated past, spinning on a heel to face Hikari.

"They're brilliant, aren't they?" The woman who had skated with Hikari asked with a slight accent, smiling through the barrier. "Oh, I should introduce myself. I am Queen Cyrille of Permafrost." They all froze, including the kids, to stare at her. Otoya didn't think Cecil was breathing, something Syo quickly fixed by pinching the Prince's side, earning a squeak.

"Your Majesty?" Masato said quietly, earning her attention. "How do you know Hikari?"

Queen Cyrille hummed, looking over as Hikari and Camus finished skating. She looked at Masato, eyes twinkling as she quietly answered, index finger in front of her lips. "Even Royalty needs a break… and who would imagine a Queen mucking out a chicken pen?" She gave a quick wink before skating to join Hikari and Camus into exiting the rink.

Hikari clapped her hands. "So! Who needs help with their skates while the resurfacer driver fixes the rink for us?"

Many hands went up.

She flopped on top of Ranmaru, earning a grunt as she slid sideways between him and the couch. "So much skating," she grumbled, trying to win the pillow from Ranmaru before ceasing. All of those from Shining were there and Eiji, Shion, and Yamato were back at Raging. Hoshiko and Camus were with the Queen at Hajime Hospital.

"Get off," he complained.

"No way."

"You-"

"Give up, senpai, she isn't going to budge," Syo huffed, exchanging complaints with Otoya before they collapsed to the floor with their pillow bounty.

"At least she isn't suffocating you," Tomochika said, settling beside Ai on one of the loveseats.

Hikari listened to her friends and colleagues speak amongst themselves as they settled along the seats or floor. Her eyes were slowly, slowly drifting down…

Feeling Nanami press against him further, Ramaru glanced back at her to see her sleeping, a hand latched onto her necklace. He debated rolling her off the couch, but shrugged off the idea, curling an arm beneath the pillow and dozing off himself.

So… hi. Been a while. Sorry, just got a brain blockage for UtaPri and the whole Culture week idea got fuzzy. But, hey! More mythical and magical stuff is being involved! Partially because Muses = Greek goddesses - other Greek gods & goddesses being involved also leading to Hikari's family being a legacy of the Permafrost & Agnapolis kingdom's alliance (some of the Fairy Tail fanfiction I'd been reading at the time had the gods and goddesses and it got sucked into the story, sorrynotsorry even if it makes it a bit difficult for me). Chapters 25 and 26 might still be about Culture week too, so the STARISH vs HEAVENS might take a bit longer, sorry! Also, totally forgot to post chapter 23, sorry 'bout that! And I know this is rather short, but figured I need stuff for 25 and 26 before the concert.

Songs are "Reflection" from Mulan and "Where No One Goes" by Jonsi from HTTYD.

If there are any questions, just tell me. I have no doubt I've missed covering something after this has been sitting for so long, so please, tell me if something's off or whatever is just plain odd.
