"An apple a day keeps the doctors away," Nico says as he throws an apple at Will. Will rolls his eyes and dodges.

"Nico, just let me check your ankle. You hurt it pretty badly," Will tells the shorter man. He gets closer, only to have Nico take another apple from the tree next to him and throw it directly at his forehead. Will's nose wrinkles as he rubs at his head.

"Dude, I think you should listen to doctor boyfriend over there," Percy tells Nico, but Nico just rolls his eyes.

"Shut up, Percy. I'm fine."

"No, you're not," Will replies, only to have another apple chugged at him.

Percy groans. Nico never allowed anyone to check up on him, and that would cause a problem or two every once in a while. When Percy was told he had to go on a quest with Nico and Will during his visit to camp Halfblood, he was glad he was going with his
friends, but that's because he had forgotten all about Nico's inability to allow others to take care of him.

Percy sighs. "Nico, we still have to get Aphrodite's stupid golden rose before Aphrodisia, which, I remind you, is tomorrow. Just let him heal your ankle already."

Nico frowns. "First, I still don't get why we–demigods in our goddamn twenties–have to do Aphrodite's work."

"I know right! She can't get the stupid rose by herself?" Percy says.

"Second," Nico says, ignoring Percy. "There's nothing wrong with me."

Will rolls his eyes again. "Do you see how your ankle looks? And your face looks pained. Arguing won't do anything, babe. Just let me fix your ankle, death boy." Nico throws another apple at him, and Will quickly dodges.

"Hey, Neecs, healing your ankle would help you and Will in bed since you obviously have a foot kink."

Nico rolls his eyes. "I don't have a foot kink, Percy."

"That's what everyone with a kink says."

"I don't have a foot kink, and even if I did, I wouldn't tell you. Besides, you shouldn't kinkshame others."

"Kinkshaming is my kink."

"Fuck off, Aqua man."

"I hate it when people call me aqua man."

"Exactly why I call you that."

Will groans. He grabs his first aid kid from his backpack and looks at his boyfriend. "Please, babe. I'll heal your ankle quickly."

Nico threw another apple at him, and this time, Will grabs it. Percy doesn't think they know, but he realizes what just happened quickly.

Nico proposed to Will and Will had accepted.

Percy doesn't remember much about the weird Ancient Greek proposal method(since Annabeth hadn't told him much about it), but during ancient times, the Greeks used to throw apples as a form of wedding proposals, and if their partners grabbed the
apple, it was considered a way of saying "yes."

Will and Nico got engaged unknowingly.

Percy's train of thoughts was interrupted by a groan (Nico's). "Fine," Nico says, and Will smiles, placing a small kiss on the shorter boy's lips before getting to work.

It barely takes 30 minutes to heal Nico's ankle enough so he could walk without pain. Will places his lips on Nico's, and when Percy realizes the kiss won't be ending if nothing interrupts it, he speaks up.

"Cmon, lovely fiancés. It's time to find a rose."
