One Week Later.
Raula grunted as she crashed into the large assortment of wooden crates stored within an old abandoned warehouse in Lisbon, Portugal. This was her and Nicole's first real fight as Devils. Their new boss, she refused to call him Master, well for now anyway, had gone over a list of Stray Devils and found one he deemed to be 'a suitable test'. Technically Bia Almada wasn't 'stray' so much as she was 'beyond completely fucking insane'. She had been a faithful servant and Bishop to Alphonse Bathin, the heir to the House of Bathin. From what she had gathered, Alphonse had been a stand up guy and treated his peerage as if they were they were his equals, though he had taken Bia as a lover. The young Duke met his end at the hands of a rogue Six Winged Fallen when he went to search for a new recruit. His entire Peerage had been devastated when they heard the news, but Bia had just snapped, refusing to believe that her lover was dead, even when she saw his body. She was convinced that it was a conspiracy, that someone had taken her Alphonse and that everyone was in on it.
She became violent, attacking anyone who told her that he was dead, eventually the destruction she had started causing became too much and the Four Satans put a bounty on her head. Which led Nicole and her to their current predicament. They needed to kill the madwoman before she could hurt anyone else, the catch was that they had to do it alone. The former Werewolf let out a scream of rage as she stood and leapt at the woman that had thrown her into the crates, her form changing into that of a great black wolf with eyes the color of rich dark chocolate. She opened her muzzle and clamped down on the woman's arm, only to feel electricity course through her body forcing her to let go with a yelp, leaping away as a ball of fire was sent toward the woman by Nicole, who, unlike her, had taken to using Devil magic like a duck to water. Especially once her Sacred Gear had accepted her as it's wielder.
Her Sacred Gear turned out to be The Bejeweled Gloves of Vengeance, more commonly known as Equivalent Execution. It took the form of a pair of hide gloves that had five gems, a ruby, a topaz, a emerald, a sapphire and a diamond, on the back of each glove, the gems all placed each point of a glowing pentagram. Any damage done to their wielder was reflected back onto their attacker, leaving the wielder unharmed, though with an amount of energy drained from them equal to the amount of energy used to attack them, so in theory using a strong enough attack on a weak enough user would possibly result in immediate death.
As the fire ball impacted the madwoman she was thrown back, her hair and clothes set aflame. As she landed she gave a quiet grunt before going completely still, her wounds finally taking their toll and putting the woman into an eternal rest. As the two girls let out a breath of relief Rareteth approached, his eyes briefly lingering on the burning corpse before he whistled and Sawney came in, a big dopey grin plastered on his face. Once the man spotted the fire he went over and began to put it out, smothering the flames with his own hands, seemingly unaffected by the heat. As Rareteth led the two girls outside the sound of bones snapping and flesh being torn filled the building.
Raula, once more in he human form, refused to meet the man's eyes, a blush plastered on her face, she was still embarrassed at the way she had let her biological urges overwhelm her a week ago. Nicole however just smiled at their Master, she had always been laid back, almost to a dangerous degree. "Sooooo… How'd we do?"
Rareteth looked at the two, observing the cuts and bruises they had acquired, they could have done better, but it was their first real fight. "You were acceptable. But you need more training to bring out your full potential. Nicole, you are going to train with Abigail in order to help you get better control of your magic, I saw the spell you were using fail several times, and with Jacqueline to help you increase your physical speed. Please return to the Manor and get some rest. You're going to need it."
"Yes sir!" The girl gave a mock salute and walked away, a flash of light a moment later signaling that she had returned to the underworld.
"Raula, you are going to train with Diane to learn how to be more accurate and increase your reaction speed, you missed several of your attacks and should have been able to dodge some of the strikes you received from the stray in retaliation. You also need to learn to believe in the capabilities of others, you took several hits meant for Nicole that she would have been able to withstand due to her Sacred Gear. Go get some rest." With that said Rareteth turned and walked away, vanishing in a flash of light.
Three Days Later.
While it didn't happen often, seeing as how he was officially the Devil's ambassador to Tír na nÓg and Avalon, he occasionally got visits from the other factions. An hour ago a Tennin, a messenger for the Shinto-Yōkai faction had visited him, asking him to pass on a message to Rias and Sona that a minor Shinto Deity would soon be passing through their territory searching for a Jorōgumo that had killed and eaten over thirty people, both human and Yōkai, over the last month, as well as fact that the Shinto-Yōkai faction were willing to pay a bounty of ¥3,225,330 to any one who produced proof of kill. He had agreed to pass on the message and had gotten properly dressed, asked Alexandra to accompany him, and used a magic circle to teleport to the place Rias's peerage met, only to find the entire group looking depressed and her Knight missing. "Rareteth? What are you doing here?"
The next head of the House of Eligos looked around the room and sighed, the message he was going to give them would have to wait. "Rias... What happened?" About ten minutes later Rias finished recounting the day's events, and Rareteth was furious. "Alexandra, get the others and initiate a search for Yuuto Kiba." Alexandra nodded, bowed her head toward Rias, and disappeared through a magical seal. "Rias... What in Lucifer's name were you thinking!?"Rias was taken aback by the sudden fury in her husband's voice, quickly leaning back in her chair and almost tipping over. "Everyone does stupid things from time to time, I do, my mother does, the Satan Leviathan does, quite often at that, hell even your brother does, but this- This is the most idiotic thing you could have possibly done in your situation!"
"Hey, don't talk to Bouchou like th-" Issei's words died in his throat at the look he received from his King's husband.
"Sit. Down." Despite his brain's protest, Issei's body did as Rareteth commanded. Then the pureblood turned back to his wife. "You allowed two of your servants to engage in combat with Holy Sword users, Excalibur users at that, and one of those servants was the sole survivor of the Holy Sword Project. That in itself was an irresponsible act both in the context of being a High-class Devil and King of your peerage, but then you just let one of your servants, one who was quite possibly on the verge of having a psychotic break from the sounds of it, just walk out the door without trying to restrain him!?"
Rias's eyes narrowed in anger as she spoke. "I don't know how you see your peerage Rareteth, but I see mine as family! I won't hold my servants as prisoners or slaves! I'm sure he just needs time to calm down."
Rareteth paused for a second before taking a deep breath. "Rias, I see my peerage the same way you see yours and when they have issues that I can help with I do, when they just need to calm down I let them, but I don't leave their side. Because they aren't true Devils, they weren't born as Devils, they were reincarnated with Evil Pieces. Do you remember what happens when a reincarnated Devil rebels or abandons their King?"
Rias's eyes softened. "Kiba won't turn into a stray. He'll be back soon, I promise."
Rareteth remained silent as he looked at his wife, she seemed genuinely regretful, so he wouldn't mention that her actions, or rather inaction, could restart the Great War if Kiba did manage to destroy any of the Excalibur fragments. "Very well, now, you said they told you that Kokabiel was directly involved?" When Rias nodded Rareteth pulled out a smartphone and dialed a number. "Azazel? I would like confirmation on something, was Kokabiel acting on your orders when he stole the Excalibur fragments? Yes, yes, I see. All signs point to him being in Kuoh, Japan." He paused for a minute before looking at Issei. "I think that would be a mistake... Very well..." He took the phone away from his ear and there was a beeping sound. "Kokabiel has gone rogue, Azazel is sending one of his best agents to help deal with him."
Rias was shocked that her husband was allowing an agent from the Grigori into her territory without her permission. "Why would you just-"
"Rias, this isn't just a group of rogue Fallen, this is a group of rogue Fallen led by Goddamned Kokabiel, the Star of God. You can't handle him alone, the only devil that could handle him alone is your brother, but according to Azazel he has around three thousand other Fallen following him, se there's a chance that even he could fail. We need all the help we can get." Rias pouted, pouted of all things, and then sat up straight when a group of magic circles appeared and nine devils walked through, two of which she didn't recognize.
Alexandra stepped forward, her hand ready to draw her sword at any moment. "Master, we're ready. Do we have permission to begin searching?"
"You do. If any you find Yuuto Kiba, try and convince him to return, if he won't, physically restrain him and bring him back here." They all nodded and walked out of the clubhouse, most of them grew wings and flew off, but Raula changed into her beast form and threw Nicole onto her back before running off.
"Issei, Koneko, Akeno, let's go, we'll search with them." With a response of 'Yes Bouchou' the three remaining Gremory peerage members walked out of the clubroom followed by Rias and her husband.
From now on, the peerage stats will only show people with new information.

Sacred Gear - Equivalent Execution.
To those who would attack it's wielder the uncommon Sacred Gear called Equivalent Execution is the manifestation of the old phrase 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' At the cost of the wielder's energy, any damage that would be done to them is negated and is instead inflicted upon their attacker.
