Here's another one just to refine my chapters, I hope everyone enjoys this chapter.

Chapter 29

Maelstrom And The Heartbreak

Prometheus Academy

Dining Hall

The students were happily eating their food, even though the dinner was apparently frogs legs, but luckily Maelstrom had brought food for his friends, though it seemed Icarus didn't mind the legs so Maelstrom just gave Icarus's food to Kurama, which the fox was all too happy to eat, since he got seconds.

Unfortunately, Hercules was in the dumps, since it turned out, the red head's girlfriend had dumped him and now he was moping around, being melodramatic, though Maelstrom tried to cheer Hercules up, "Herc would you stop that, I understand that she hurt you, but come on, you started dating her after 3 dates, then later she dumps you, that's hardly what you'd call being a couple." Though it was more like Hercules was getting on his nerves.

Hercules threw his hands up in the air, "But you don't understand, I loved her Mael, we were gonna build a life together!" Again, the group knew he was being overly dramatic about it.

Maelstrom released a sigh, "Brother, listen to me, when you date someone, before becoming an official couple, you need to go on other dates first, not two in order to truly know each other, but you two didn't, which is why you broke up so fast."

Hearing what his brother was saying, Hercules had to ask, "Alright, so how long should you date someone before becoming a couple!?"

Maelstrom and Cassandra looks to each other, with Maelstrom answering, "Well, I would say, somewhere between 2 to 3 weeks, that way you truly get to know the person and they get to know you, it was kinda the samething with Tempest, considering her Amazon background, but it mostly depends on the people that are dating."

Hearing this Hercules slams his head on the table, causing it to break and collapse to the floor, with Maelstrom deadpanning, "I guess we'll eat another time," Though in the corner of his eye, he saw Kurama happily chowing on the food that didn't make it, "Glutton!" Though Rachnera had managed to save her own food by her webs.

Later

At Phil's training grounds things were pretty much the same, with Hercules moping, not really getting into the training, even though the boulders that were catapulted at him seemed to just smash into him and crumbled.

As Maelstrom began throwing the rocks off of his brother, with the upset teen not being physically injured, Maelstrom just gave a huff, "Really Herc, you're still upset about your 3 day girlfriend dumping you."

Hearing this Phil was shocked, "WHAT!? 3 DAYS!? What's the matter with ya kid, you only knew the girl for 3 days and she dumps ya, come on, that sounds more like being friends than ought else!" The goat man ranted, angry at Hercules for not getting his head into training.

That is until an idea pops into his head, "Alright, a moping hero-to-be needs a pick me up, and what better way than to take your anger out than fighting a monster!" With that, Phil took a scroll out looking through it for anyone in need of help.

Though Maelstrom wanted to point out that Hercules was sad about being dumped, not too sure on the anger, but then again, Hercules might just have the anger underneath the sadness.

With Hercules moaning about how he doesn't feel up to it, Phil managed to find the job, with Maelstrom shrugging at about how foolish it was since Hercules was just being dramatic about the thing.

Throne Room

The group of three were standing in front of the king and his daughter, with Maelstrom and Hercules in their hero gear, though as it turned out the princess was slightly eyeing Maelstrom up, though Maelstrom wasn't paying attention since he just wanted his brother to get over his 3 day-break-up, which he finds completely dumb.

Though Phil tried to impress the king by telling him who Hercules had fought, with Hercules not showing any spirit about overcoming those monsters, with the king still not being sure, though Hercules quickly proved it by lifting the king's throne with ease, with the king still seated on it, though he then carefully placed the chair back down, the king was pleased by the demonstration, though he then looks towards Maelstrom, "And what of you my boy, will you be helping in our crisis!?"

Maelstrom quickly got out of his thoughts when asked that question, "Oh, I'm just here to back up my brother in case he gets way in over his head sire."

The king stroking his bead in puzzlement, "But why will you not join him in this battle, are you just as strong as your brother?" The king couldn't help but ask.

With Maelstrom doing the same demonstration his brother just did, while replying, "Your highness, me and Hercules are twins, while he gets his hair colour from our mother, I get mine from our father, besides the reason I'm not joining the fight is because my brother is down in the dumps about being dumped."

Hercules flinched at the reminder, with that the king hired them with great enthusiasm, though his daughter sighed dreamily at the thought.

Marketplace

As soon as the three, plus horse entered the marketplace there was pandemonium, with Hercules saying to the three, "Well, the king did say he wasn't your average monster!" Since it turned out to be a three-headed six-armed monster tearing through the streets, yelling how angry he was, with the other heads agreeing and joining him. (A.N. It's very difficult and confusing to explain how Geryon talks.)

Though as soon as Hercules began his attack to beat the monster, Maelstrom couldn't help but wonder out loud to himself, "Did I polish Glenda today?" Not really paying attention to his brother getting whacked towards Phil, with Phil passing weapons to Hercules.

Though when Phil got hit with the plunger, Maelstrom noticed that his brother wasn't doing to good, so, grabbing and yanking the plunger off the goat-man's face, Maelstrom took aim with the "weapon" and fired it at one of the monster's face, though he missed when the Princess spoke up, since the monster gasped and ran away.

Though Hercules was soaking up the cheers, Maelstrom noticed that something was off, "Phil, I'm gonna go look something up, don't know when I'll be back." With Phil waving him off, since Maelstrom could look after himself with ease.

Mountain Side

While the people were celebrating, Maelstrom had followed the monster to the mountains, the monster was about to break apart the mountain until, "I don't think that's a good idea!" Catching the monster by surprise.

"W-Who's there!?", "Show yourself!", "Before I get mad!"

Maelstrom simply hoped from behind a bush, "Yo, listen, from what I saw in the marketplace, you're seriously in love with the princess aren't you."

The monster began crying, explaining how she was his truelove, Maelstrom decided to help the monster out, "Alright, how about instead of causing such destruction and mayhem, you try to win her back."

The monster then looked it him-selves, "What do you mean!" """Win her back!?"""

Maelstrom just gave a smirk, "Leave that to me!"

The Next Day

Maelstrom was standing before the king, explaining that Garyon was heartbroken from being dumped by the Princess, "But, with your permission your highness, Garyon would like to try and win her back."

Garyon stood before the king and princess, with Maelstrom standing behind him, along with Phil and Hercules, giving their support, though the three didn't know the princess had actually dumped Garyon the same way as Hercules, but nether of them knew that.

Before long Maelstrom began to play his guitar, with Garyon starting to sing in synchronisation with himself, though considering he's got three heads it was the perfect pitch.

I Do Not Own La Da Dee

"All these places packed with people,

Once the song was finished the princess was in the arms of Garyon, with Maelstrom passing the lyrics to the song that they were writing all night long, but now that they'd finished, with no-one really knowing the princess was about to claim Hercules as her fiancee, with Maelstrom saying to Garyon, "You know something big guy, why not become a singer, you've certainly got the vocals for it."

With that out of the way, the group left the happy couple to live their lives, with Garyon following Maelstrom's advise, along with Hercules finally getting over his dumping.

Speedy Pita

The brothers find themselves happily walking into the fast food joint, meeting up with Cassandra and Icarus, though Icarus warned Cassandra not to mention the dumping, but Hercules told them that he was fine and that he no longer had feelings for his ex, that is until Cassandra pointed out that his ex was now in the arms of a certain big hairy teen.

"My heart has just been ripped out, my world has no meaning!"

With Maelstrom just huffing at what happened, "Here we go again!" He couldn't help but drawl out, while eating his own pita, deciding to wash his hands of the whole melodrama.

The End.

I'm not good at the whole "make-up, break-up" thing, along with teenage melodrama, since I've never really went through this annoying thing (thank the gods), but I hope everyone enjoyed this and, I guess, feel slightly embarrassed themselves for going through their own melodrama. lol

Also I said I stopped writing one-shots, I never said anything about The Brother Of Hercules story. lol
